Two seater settee at a steal price.

Bought a two seater settee & for the price it was a steal & a bigger steal when you get free delivery thrown in as well. I’ve seen the same settee on different sites for hundreds of pounds more. And it’s really comfortable with a high back, which is hard to find nowadays . I’ll be back.

I have ordered from furn-on before and it has always been excellent service. Quality of furniture is great and good value for money. Im not a professional by any means however with the instructions assembling the furniture is easy.

Nevada 3-door - poor service!!!

2The Nevada 3-door wardrobe says 1-2 days delivery. Ordered on Sunday 26th October 3 days later im left chasing where my wardrobe is. They explained there was an error, as the 3-door is too big to deliver in 1-2 days. It took 5 days. But the website still states 1-2 days.
Delivery arrives, with panels incorrectly marked and a whole box of parts for a 2-door wardrobe. And 3 damaged doors.
Email Furn-On on Sunday 2nd October to be asked for pictures, which i supplied. Ive spent all week chasing them. Even though its not my fault. To be told that they want to carry out an exchange for the incorrectly sent box. Then they'll look at whether they want to replace the damaged doors!!! Jen in customer service is abrupt and not very helpful.
Im not impressed at all. I'll update if this is resolved.
Update: we had an exchange carried out on Saturday 8th Nov. But Jen said they couldn't resolve the damaged doors until the exchange had been carried out. Im told today that 'a request has been sent to the supplier'. So, its now the 10th November and I still dont have my complete wardrobe. So much for 1-2 days delivery. Everything has taken 5 days, regardless of it being a 1 man or 2 man delivery. Ill update once I have a complete wardrobe.
17th Nov - still sleeping on the living room floor. As Furn-On still can't resolve the damage doors to be replaced. Terrible company, would stay clear. If you get issues your screwed!

Poor packaging and delivery

Ordered a sideboard unit from this company for next day delivery. When it arrived it was like a lego set all over the van and damaged. Refused the delivery and was told if it hadn't been damaged I'd have had to pay for a return. The packaging was non existent ie a piece of card of the top and bottom and a couple of plastic straps round the rest. Not protected at all. Was told if I'd picked a 2 week delivery option it would have been fully packaged.
Not sure about that to be honest. Have to say even if not damaged as spread in bits all over the van I would have refused it. To be fair they refunded as promised. Needless to say now bought a completely different item elsewhere.

This is certainly not the standard we aim to deliver. Your order was securely packaged prior to dispatch, but unfortunately suffered significant damage during transit, for which we sincerely apologise.

The mention of a return charge was only raised because, at that stage, we had not yet received any images to confirm the damage. Once the extent was clear, it was evident there would be no charge as the sideboard had been badly compromised. What left us as a fully assembled item was unfortunately delivered to you in several pieces, highlighting a serious issue during delivery. While this is very unusual, we have addressed it directly with our couriers to prevent a repeat.

We’re pleased your refund was processed promptly, and we completely understand your frustration with the way the delivery arrived.

I recently purchased bedside tables for…

I recently purchased bedside tables for my new Airbnb, but unfortunately, once the super king-size beds were delivered, there wasn’t enough space to use them. I contacted the company to arrange a return and was informed that they only allow returns within two weeks. I had assumed, as with most retailers, that I had a month, and since I had to wait for the beds to arrive, I didn’t think it would be an issue to return them slightly later.

Although the company agreed to accept the return, I was charged £35 for collection and an additional £30 restocking fee, even though the items were still sealed in their boxes. I explained my situation and asked if the restocking fee could be waived, but my request was declined. This meant that returning a £142 purchase would have cost me £75, which I felt was unreasonable, so I decided to keep the items.

If I had known the true cost of returning an item, I would not have ordered from this company in the first place. I will not be shopping here again and will be sourcing furniture for my properties elsewhere.

Our returns policy is 14 days, in line with standard online retail regulations, and this is outlined both on our website and in our order confirmation emails. We did make an exception to accept your items back outside of this window, but as noted in our terms, collection and restocking charges do apply. These charges are in place to cover the costs we incur when arranging returns, even if items remain unopened. We had also offered the option for you to arrange your own return, however this was declined.

We do understand your situation and appreciate that your circumstances were unusual with the timing of your Airbnb setup. However, in order to remain fair and consistent to all customers, we are not able to waive fees in such cases.

We’re sorry this has left you feeling dissatisfied, and we will take your comments on board as we continue to review and improve our service.
