Quick delivery, good instructions

Our 4 boxes of ladder system for our pool got delivered today, July 18 at 5:31PM. A couple of boxes were open at the corner but looked ok inside. We haven’t taken anything out of the boxes yet. If anything is missing or damaged we will contact you.

I hate the fact I have to give a rating before posting my review. This company is awful and they will rip you off!

I will spare you the lengthy story of how they ripped us off. We cancelled our order after their screw up twice. Our order never shipped and they kept $72 of our money.

Please just know the customer service is awful. Helen and Jay are rude and they appear to be so unorganized and incompetent. Yet, they’ll place the blame on you.

Buyer be aware!!!! Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere.

Fast delivery item as described

Ordered my pool ladder in April. Just finally received it 3 days ago. 4 months And still parts missing, and they direct to support system to figure it out.I would suggest never buy an.Item from them at this point.They still have not cleared mine up.

I purchased a pool online 3/20, received half the order on 4/23, I received a 2nd shipment mid May. When we tried to put the pool together I was missing 4 pieces of the top rail. I emailed Jay (the owner) did reply promptly stating Pam would assist me the following day. I did not hear from Pam so I called, was told no Pam worked there. Jay emailed me a few minutes later saying Christina would help me. Although I was able to order the missing pieces Jay said it may be a good idea to take the pool down since it could be damaged by wind or storms leaving it up and it may take a few weeks to get the missing pieces. After a week I called the manufacturer and ordered the missing parts. I received them in 2 days. (The missing pieces Jay sent were sent to my office under a different name and took several days to receive. ) Again we start to assemble the pool and discover we are missing the platform of the ladder, decided not a big enough deal to bother with familypoolfun, I will buy one. Finally we are set up and ready to install the liner only to discover it is the wrong size and not the pattern I ordered. I have called and emailed familypoolfun. I have not received a response after several attempts to contact them. Totally disgusted and discouraged I went to the local pool company and purchased the correct liner.

Great price on a pool pump, but was a little slow to ship. After purchase I was charged significantly more than the advertised price. Telephone customer service was poor, as they would not answer any questions. I was told to email questions. In the end I got the pump at a good price, but I am left with very little confidence in the company. I won't be a return customer.

I was in a desperate situation with a cracked upper half to my pool filter. Jay the owner personally called to see what was needed. He didn't have the component I needed but was able to track one down through his extensive network and have it delivered to another pool store near our home. I was up and running within two day. Jay makes customer service great again!

BUYER BEWARE!

We purchased our pool in 2020 and had nothing but trouble with receiving the order. The pool took months to receive. We called and emailed to no avail. The communication was nonexistent. The pool we originally purchased was out out stock so we received a different pool. When we had issues with the pool liner I wrote the company but never received a response. The pool is less than 4 years old and it's already rusted. Our liner has had 2 rips from the stairs that we purchased from their company (we purchased the steps for $240.00).

Due to the lack of communication and ability to assist when something goes wrong, I highly suggest you go with a different company.

Single-handedly the worst big ticket purchase of my life. The company stole thousands of dollars from me after purchasing an above ground pool. They delivered parts to two different sized pools and refuse to help us or right their wrong. We even offered to pay extra for them to send us the parts we need. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Company ordered wrong pool. Said they’d compensate for all of the trouble with store credit. Kept dodging our calls and e-mails. I am expecting the store credit, as previously requested. This company has lied and avoided! I have phone logs and emails…the issues have yet to be resolved. Terrible business and jay Backer is a crook

Do not purchase from this company! I wish my husband had read this reviews prior! We gave Jay an exact diagram of what we needed for our pool cover and what came was not the correct size and we did not realize until our pool people came to put it on. Months back and forth and then a month of no communication. Horrible company, customer service and workers. We have reported this to our credit card company as well as seeking further action. Beware!

Buyer beware. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We ordered a pool cover in September. When we were setting up to install we discovered the stairs on the cover were not on the correct side (not a reversible cover) I immediately contacted the company and explained the situation and asked how I could go about exchanging the cover. I’m emailed by Jay their customer service he asks for pictures which I immediately took and emailed them to him 24 hours later he replies, did the cover get wet? Again I immediately responded, no as explained previously it did not get wet. 24 hours later another reply with another question. This back and forth went on for a month. In the meantime, my husband attempted to call several times and each time was told the person who deals with this is not available. I began to feel like I was getting a major run around.
I contacted the BBB to ask for assistance in helping me resolve as I just spent over $600 on a cover I cannot use. They contacted the company with my complaint. Their reply through the BBB complaint was that they needed to contact the manufacturer. Which was never explained to me in all of the one question emails (even after I expressed several times I felt as though I was getting the run around.) The BBB asked if the issues was resolved and of course it was not as I was no closer to an exchange nor a refund. I called the company again asking for the status and got an extremely rude woman on the phone that informs me that because I went to the BBB my return would be handled differently? Seems shady. Conclusion from the BBB was the company replied one last time stating that “the customer got what she ordered and will have to refer to the company’s return policy” The BBB closed the case as unresolved. It is almost January and the company has stopped responding to my emails completely. I still have a cover I cannot use. Their website boasts 75 day hassle free returns and 100 satisfaction guarantee. What joke I’m usually good about looking at reviews prior to doing business with a company I am unfamiliar but this time I didn’t. It’s a lot of money to just let go.I’ve filed a complaint with the attorney general.

The product I ordered said it was made in the US. I called their supplier. It was made in Asia. They would not admit to their error. Their website makes it sound like they want their customers to be "satisfied". From my experience with them, it was obvious that they are all about money in their pocket at their customers expense. They lied to me and were extremely rude. I would not recommend them under any circumstances!!!

Ordered a safety pool cover that included steps which without taxes was over 700 dollars. I was sent a cover that did not include steps which didn't find out until had pool closed and cover was being installed. Contacted Family Pool Fun and instructed by Jay to send multiple pictures of box labels and cover. Sent the pictures then Jay wanted me to remove cover and ship it back to them. I ask him to send me a replacement or refund and I would ship the cover back. He closed the dispute and didn't here back. Spent a season waiting for response and had cover sitting in box waiting for a replacement that never came. Contacted company again and Jay wanted a couple more pictures which I sent many more showing all angles of cover to include cover serial number on cover label and from box. After waiting I received no response, so called again and was told that message passed on and wait for response. Received response that pictures do not show issue and send more pictures. Feel like all I have gotten is run around with these people, so I guess they want to get mad and give up on them ever doing the right thing! Their website claims 100 percent satisfaction on surface looks good but if you do send back there is a 25 percent restocking fee and you must cover shipping. Would never recommend this company to anyone ever and think they should be investigated by the better business bureau. If I ever get a positive solution/outcome from this company, I will send out a follow up review.

I give them a 5 star but not the shipping. UPS was horrible. The box was in very bad shape. Sent pictures to Family Pool Fun, but the only namaged item in the box was the rim that holds the filter on. I sent pictures so I hope the pictures got to them

I got a call about a week after I placed my order telling the one I selected was not in stock. I choose a different one over the phone. I was called again 2 days later and told once again the second I choose was not in stock. I ended up with plain blue which I am not excited about at all. I look at the website and see that the first 2 I choose are still an option as a selection for purchase. Shipping took another 2 weeks.

They were attentive, helpful and prompt. My item came as expected and was easy to install.

The worst experience I have ever had with a company! If I could give it a zero I would. New liner was ripped at the seam on May 29th. After 34 emails, I called everyday, was hung up on, called a nuisance at one point by the rep!! I had a bad feeling from the very start. As of June 28th, the replacement liner was installed. A month later!! The process was horrendous to get the replacement liner! Buyer beware of this company!!

BUYER BEWARE! Absolutely horrible. They sell products that are hazardous to your health. We have been trying for more than 4+ years to get a resolution for a sauna that emits unsafe levels of formaldehyde!
