We had to replace our liner after 14 years. We bought our original kit thru Family Pool Fun so it seemed only natural to reorder from the same place. There is only one salesman & he doesn't listen or pay attention to anything that you say. The liner that I ordered is not the liner that I received. We had so many repairs to do that by the time we replaced the liner it was too late to do anything about it. Of course, I haven't heard anything back from Jay & I'm sure I won't. If you can pick any other company, do it!! You will only be disappointed working with this company.

I called him, and he said he would be here at noon. Hours—then days—passed with no response to my texts or messages. A simple reply letting me know he wasn't coming would have allowed me to make other arrangements instead of waiting and wondering.

What a disappointment. FPF.com will not respond to my emails. I was sent something other then what I ordered and now I can't return their garbage product. I also can't get refunded what I'm owed. So I'll play games just as they are. I am disputing the charge and also leaving a review on anything and everything I can.

Lack of communication took awhile yo get my order thats all.

You sent me the wrong pool cover. I ordered a WC 740, you sent me a WC-418-4. I sent photos of the package and an email yesterday. I would have sent it a couple of weeks ago but I had phone issues. Thanks, Joe Hart (43213-352-2293)

HORRIBLE experience. I ordered a pool pump and 2 weeks later, I had not received it. They would not respond to emails inquiring about the delay. When I called, the lady who answered the phone was very rude. She stated it had to be "reviewed" and someone named Lisa needed to call us to discuss the shipping. When I asked when I could expect a call from Lisa, she stated she would give her the message. This indicates that nothing had been done with the order since it had been placed. I told her if we didn't have communication within 24 hours that I would be cancelling the order. She responded with, "Do what you gotta do." I decided to cancel and when I called back I told the man who answered that I wouldn't have cancelled but the woman was so rude. He told me he can't control women. WOW. I promptly cancelled the order. DO NOT USE this company. If zero stars were available, I would give zero stars.

May 26, 2025, I Purchased a $2,000 pool heater from them, that leaked and died a month after installing on July 11th. My HVAC installer (all he does is pool heaters for 40 years), said I should get my money back after this. He couldn't believe what happened so quickly! August 14th is when I submitted the claim in writing, with photos. It's been 2.5 months since filing the claim, submitting all appropriate photos, and all I get is the run around.
Jay, who handles heaters is "always with a customer" when I call. I NEVER got any call backs, and when I DID finally "speak" to a man, he A., wouldn't give me his name, and B. Yelled at me nonstop not allowing me to get a word in. I finally hung up on his yelling since I couldn't get a word in. (*I found out today on Trust Pilot Jay does this to pretty much everyone!)
I specifically purchased the heater from this company based on their return policy being what it claims on their website. They have been nothing short of a nightmare, that I don't wish on any customer! They got their $2000. They don't need me for anything else now.
I STRONGLY CAUTION SHOPPERS to read REVIEWS (*NOT* the ones on their website or sponsored). Read them first!

They sent the wrong pool after a really long delay and then would not refund our money. They were the rudest and most incompetent company ive ever dealt with. Do not get involved with these people.

Familypoolfun sent the wrong item. The item they did send is damaged beyond repair. The box it was sent in was all banged up and its obvious it was shuffled around the warehouse for quite some. I again:(3rd time) request a total refund of this order.Request #53927. Pool steps SKU:NE113. I havent heard from anyone about this complaint since Jay on 06/07/2025 and this email is not helpful.It is for your business and not my request for a refund. I am totaly disgusted with this company.

We paid for a 15'x26' oval pool in March of 2021. When the under warranty liner failed we were told to order through a 3rd party. Using our original receipt from Family Pool Fun we ordered a replacement with their 3rd party vendor Swimline in 8/2024 and received the liner. Summer was almost over so we put the liner away until April 2025 when we hired a professional installer to replace the liner. Imagine our surprise when we realized that our pool is 15'x24'not the15'x26' we paid for. Family Pool Fun is not responding to our request for remedy to this situation and their original bait and switch, We will never recommend this company to anyone.

Had to call numerous times and email to get confirmation and tracking number. I didn’t receive my whole order. What I did receive was incorrect. What was on the box description was not in the box. Also what was on my invoice. I didn’t know until I had the contractor here putting my pool up. Needless to say I had to continue with the install. Put a claim requesting a complete refund and they pay for shipping return and restocking. Extremely disappointed and upset. Especially when I spent a lot of money. Horrible absolutely horrible.

This place is a scam. Somebody needs to shut this place down. They are accepting orders when they have no way of getting the product. I added a $5,000 slide to my cart and was about to finalize the payment when I decided to call the company. She proceeded to tell me they don't have any inventory and no way to get any.

I have used Family Pool Fun for over 10 years and never had a problem. There must be something going on with the company because I have been trying for over a month to order a part for my filter. At the beginning, Jay told me that several of his employees were in the hospital and asked that I give him a few days and try again later. I did. Then I left numerous messages and called so many times that the receptionist knew immediately what I wanted. She was very apologetic but could not get Jay to call me back, time after time. She finally gave me my original order information and I was able to order the part from somewhere else. I just wish someone in the company would have explained the problem as we all have 'bad days', but as it is, I would not recommend this company as it is right now. I hope that they are able to fix the problems and go back to the company that they were before.

I had ordered a safety winter cover for my in ground pool. I received my a cover. Once I got the pool closed and ready for the cover I opened up my box to realize they sent me a cover that was 4’ to small. I checked my order I ordered correctly but they sent me the wrong one. I have been trying now for almost a month to get the correct cover that I paid for to no avail. I have supplied every picture of the order I received upon their request and now I’m being ghosted. Everytime I call and ask for jay whom seems to be the only person who can help me with this is always either busy or out in the field somewhere. There’s no other owner manager supervisor that I can talk to. So as of now I’m out $800 dollars and a pool that was winterized that is still open to the elements so now a big waste of money on closing chemicals and not mention time and what it’s going to take to open it. Don’t don’t buy from this company

Absolutely horrible experience. Ordered winter safety cover, paid for it, and nothing but problems after that. Delays, excuses, hung up on, cut short without being able to finish explaining my concerns, lectures about being a "prideful woman" for questioning this man (Jay). Canceled order, refund process went from 5 days to 20 days to having to file a dispute with my bank, which I won. This guy talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. My advice is to avoid him and this company.

Familypoolfun.com is by far the worst customer service that I have ever had in my life. The guy running the show is very arrogant and does not stand behind his warranties on your pools...If I knew now back, then I would have not bought anything from this place...Buyer BEWARE...!!!

I don’t like giving bad reviews but in this case I have to I ordered my pool July 14. It finally came July 26. Everything came but the liner I gave a $300 deposit to the pool company who was supposed to come on the 27th to install the pool and because of my cancellation I lost my $300 deposit due to the company.told me they could’ve installed another pool on the same day. The woman that answers the phone is very rude. She actually had my brother curse her which wasn’t very nice but he saw how distraught I was now the original pool company told me they cannot install the pool until the third Saturday of August now I am in search of another pool company I will never purchase or recommend this company to anyone

Not entirely happy with this experience. Purchased steps because advertising on the website showed sides with openings between the columns. Liked this because it allows water flow and I had weights that attached with Velcro around the columns. Steps showed up with solid sides making the weights useless. Unable to get satisfactory answers to my questions from seller other than standard safety statement.
