A complete rip off. Bought a package of 15 lessons for my daughter. The instructor was useless. Wouldn't book less than 2 hours at a time. Often late and sometimes didn't show up. Kept the radio on in lessons. Got my daughter to drive him to shops and then went shopping, while she waited. She rarely if ever got the full amount of time she paid for. The car was filthy and smelled. And to cap it all she didn't get the last 3 sessions I paid for. He stopped answering the phone. When I complained to drive dynamics, they basically said it was nothing to do with them. It was between us and the instructor. Beware!

I paid for lessons I never received. Was told I would be issued a refund but this did not materialise. In the end I had to contact the Citizens Advice Bureau and the threaten legal action. Anyone in the same position should know that this company is registered with Companies House under Dynamic Franchises to make your inevitable court battle move a bit quicker.

Do not use as this is a scam company. Paid money and have never received lessons and have given up on the money being returned

Today, I have received the confirmation of a County Court Judgement I placed on the company for failing to pay for £143.11 worth of driving lessons that I paid in June 2017 and have never materialised and no refund was ever made. They beated around the bush for a year saying that I would get the refund but never honoured the promise. In the end, I had to go to court and won but have yet to receive the award I won which was the full amount plus court fees and interest. I highly advise you to google money claim (gov.co.uk) to get your money back.

Note the 14day period - You either won't get any lessons and you can forget about even trying to refund your deposit, or they won't pay the driver a penny.

Scam! Took money and disappeared as everyone else on here said! After being investigated by BBC Watchdog and having an article written about its shady practices on the Guardian it still continues the same scam practices. I don't know how the owners haven't been arrested yet!!!

Wish I could leave a 0 star rating absolutely terrible took my money over year ago I argued and argued to get my money back never did full on scam avoid avoid avoid theres better company's out there I hope they go out of business and know they are scammers

If I could give 0 stars I would. They’ve had my money for nearly a year. They never assigned me a driver. No one ever contacted me. They have been promising me a refund for over 6 months. It’s yet to materialise. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Took my money and never gave me any lessons, after I contacted them for my lessons they said they’d get an instructor to contact me. When they failed to do so, I asked for a refund which they said they would not give me because I was outside the 14 day cooling off period. DO NOT USE! I only gave 1 star because 0 stars wasn’t an option.

Complete waste of time!

I have paid a total of 349.95 pounds for 15 lessons + theory trainer and I've only received 4 lessons in total before my driving instructor claimed he hasn't been paid and stopped delivering lessons. Until this day I haven't received a refund or the remaining lessons, despite my numerous calls and emails to find out what is going on. I must stress that this is unacceptable and I've reached the end of my patience.

Therefore I want to request a refund of 269,95 GBP as per the calculation below:

£349.95 - 4 lessons completed @ £20/lesson = £269,95

Drive Dyanmics was an absolute shame. I booked some lessons with them last summer, and paid up front. about 2 months later I had received no lessons, the telelphone line that you could call into was the sales team to take more money from you. If you tried to reach customer services, it will tell you an automated message about emailing them, and then cut off.

In the end I approached my bank and filed a retail dispute, My bank transfered the money into my account within 7 days and settled the matter with drive dynamics. If any one is ever in a similar situation where a company is saying that it will take more than one working day to transfer a refund then file a service dispute. As the company is not likely to pay you and banks will have more success

I paid for lesson back in October 2017. After a month with no contact from an instructor I requested a refund. I was told it would take 12 weeks to get my refund. I have still yet to receive my refund, it has been over 4 months since I was told I would get my refund . This is completely unacceptable. You have taken my money, did not supply the service and then did not give me a refund in the time scale you agreed on (12 weeks). You had more than enough time to pay me back and am tired of waiting. You also have not contacted me in regards to any issues there may have been in paying me back.

Contact me ASAP.

14 months on and after telling me it would take 12 weeks to process my refund I’m still waiting. Driving instructor let us down 3 months into lessons which were pre paid. DD owed him £3k and would not pay, avoid these shysters like the plague!!! Come on DD take proceedings against me for soiling your name?

I have been trying to obtain a refund from this company for lessons not supplied FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS.

In my latest attempt to email them today, the email bounced back with a no such address message from the server.

I have just gone to reviews now to discover a Guardian online report that the company has been liquidated but is accepting business STILL ONLINE!

It is almost IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT THEM.

I suggest that NO-ONE has anything to do with this company.
My personal experience has been horrific and according to online reviews I am only one of thousands now left out-of-pocket by these people.

4 months later and still waiting for my refund, after these guys try to increase the price already agreed online. Please don't use this firm.

Drive Dynamics has gone bust for a second time. On the first occasion the owners simply set up again.
Apparently, on 12th January 2018 the directors of Drive Dynamics sold the intellectual property (i.e. the trading name, website, Facebook page, customer databases etc.) in a private closed sale to Around the Bend Limited - driving school for £10,000 plus other future consideration. So no doubt the business will probably start up again for a third time in the near future. The company was put into liquidation on 20th February 2018. You can call the liquidators on 01904 479801 and ask to speak to Katie for more details.

I paid for lessons on the 10th of august 2017 and was told an instructor would contact me within a week. Two weeks pass, and still no contact. I contacted you to be told that there were no instructors available in the area so I am due a refund. Firstly it would have been nice to have been contacted and told this, nonetheless I accepted the circumstance and was told 28 days for a refund. Despite having mentioned on your website that I would be contacted. 28 days later still nothing. I contact you again, and was told that you needed my bank details to give me my money back, again didn’t bother to contact me first. I accepted the situation and waited again for another 28 days, still nothing. I then contacted you again, and was told an email will be sent to me within 10 minutes. No email was sent, and I kept calling for 3 weeks and no answer. Finally got through, and was told the same thing ‘in ten minutes time an email will be sent’ that was told at 10:42. It is now 14:10 and still no email, or no answer on the phone.
Whilst the weeks past I still had no answer, and despite emailing you multiple times, in which your website states you'll respond within 48 hours. I have had NO response. This is a disgusting service, as it is now the 23rd of February 2018, and still no refund. £129 may seem a small amount to you, but for some people that is a considerable amount!
PLEASE NOTIFY ME WHAT IS GOING ON.

I HAVE A COURT ORDER AGAINST THEM NOT LIKELY FOR ME TO GET AMY MONEY BACK THAT THEY OWE ME. AVOID AT ALL COST OR YOY WILL BE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY. I PAID FOR 10 LESSONS FOR MY STEPSONS 17TH BIRTHDAY HE IS HEARTBROKEN AT NIT GETTING HIS LESSONS. AVOID AVOID AVOID

If you have any problems recovering your money, it would be best to explain the situation to your bank or contact your bank's fraud department. I did this and eventually got my money back 5 months after I originally paid (aprox. £500) because Drive Dynamics is full of crap and just tell you "your refund is processing" apparently for 4 months straight.
