Our experience with this company has been a huge disappointment.
We booked a trip of a lifetime which we believe was missold thru their marketing brochure.
We were sent to a hotel in Mauritius for 3 days before boarding a ship bound for South Africa.
The hotel was supposed to be 4 star but was absolutely NOT. Our bathroom was mouldy, the general state of the hotel itself was poor. Even providing photo evidence, Cruise 1st have not even offered a penny compensation.
My next complaint is that we found out once onboard our ship that it was a re-positioning cruise and the ship had been sold to another company. At no point during the booking procedure were we advised of this. As a result, even tho we paid full price for a drinks package, the choice of drinks was limited due to stocks being run down.
In our opinion the whole holiday fell short of the expectations set when sold to us. We feel disappointed and let down with the outcome. We contacted Cruise 1st After Travel to seek an explanation and compensation but did not receive a resolution that addressed our concerns.
I hope this account helps others understand what to expect and make an informed decision when booking a cruise.

We have used this company twice now and what a great and easy way of planning a cruise .We found it a straight forward process . All went to plan with no problems . Extremely helpful consultants especially Victoria Benjamin, who found us great offers. we will most certainly ask for this lady for when we book again . So much easier booking from home by phone . Amazing helpful cruise travel agents helped me put together the perfect stay cruise and stay again at end of cruise. Had the most fabulous time with recommendations made by the agent for best hotels to stay pre and post cruise. Have booked so many times and have more bookings already for next summer. 5*****

Our flights were changed by the airline company so Cruise1st was asked to change our flights to other flights of our choice trying to speak to customer services and especially the person who booked our cruise was very poor no response at all.

Milly was extremely helpful in what was a confusing and difficult process

Your customer service needs revision. I sent multiple messages and had no response. You booked a flight for an adult when it should have been a childs seat, which took a lot of time when we tried to check in. Also, at the time of booking I advised the clerk that I had Carnival shares and should receive £250 onboard spend.
Unfortunately, she did nothing about this and as a result I lost £250 onboard spend. Not a happy customer.

Straight forward and uncomplicated

Cruise 1st is a great company to deal with they are very transparent in service delivery and look after their customers. Going the extra mile and checking to see if they can improve your travel experience.

James was very helpful in booking our cruise. Very informative and patient. We are very happy with the price we were offered.
