CRM PORTSMOUTH - If I could give a zero review then I would. This is a poorly managed overpriced building. Totally misrepresented advertising cinema room gym etc. The facilities were closed off all year alleging they had been vandalised by non residents. I assumed this was private accommodation and should not be open to non residents. Spent the majority of the first year in darkness with scaffolding and dust. The rooms were not ready. Moving in day was a nightmare with only one lift working and no cages or trolleys to load belongings. Parking on moving in and moving out day is complicated and costly. There are social issues in the building which are not managed correctly leading to noisy smelly corridors. In all this is an awful accommodation. They need a total overhaul of their rude condescending staff. I tried on several occasions to contact head office as nobody takes responsibility but no success. I would never recommend this accommodation. As a gesture we were offered £100 vouchers.

I have been living here for 2 years now and the experience is not great. Starting from the fact that my bike have been stolen from the site 2 times in few months. The only advice I got from management team is to keep my bike in the kitchen in the future ( I live on the 3rd floor... and I would not like to keep my bike where I cook and eat). I had number of other issues such as staff entering my room while I`m inside. It happend on few occasions. Once I have been sleeping and random guy just open my room and walked inside, then he said he just have to check the fire alarm and walked on my bed in his dirty shoes while I was on my bed!! Disrespectful. .... However, the most serious issue that haven`t been resolved and was not taken serius enough was when one of my flatmate was aggressive towards me. As it was during the weekend I had to call 24 hour services. The gentelman came along to the flat and spoke to the flatmate. He himself said that she was even aggressive towards him and he wrote report where he stated it. When me and my other flatmate ( who also struggled with innapropriate behaviours from that flatmate) went to the reception on Monday late afternoon no one listen what we got to say. We have been told that they will talk to the flatmate the next day. Honestly, it is very serius issue that should be dealt with immidietly and in better manner. So if you are planing to stay at Leighton Hall in Preston then better think about it twice... I would not recommend that place to anyone.

For nearly everytime they enter my room with no prior notive, wherever I am, no matter what I'm doing. They are like gangsters. And they take away my personal belongs, calling that a replacement.

If I could give this accommodation a zero, trust me I would. I currently live on the CRM accommodation on Bristol street and my experience has not been the greatest. Personally, I have been having issues with water leaking from my ceiling, tried to get a hold of them but couldn't. Called the 'out of office hours' because clearly no-one is here on the weekends (even thought they falsely advertise to do so) and clearly the security cannot deal with maintenance issues. Maintenance is nowhere to be found. I would not recommend living here, they take days to sort things out for you, they are hard to reach, and the rooms are not even great to start with, considering the amount you pay for. Take my advise and book somewhere, this place is not worth your money and time!

Honestly the worst decision I've made crm decides to trap students in a binding contract. These people lure students in with false advertising just to trap them in a contract that is not worth the price.

Inefficient to refund and change tenancy agreement without my agreement !!!!!!

Moved to Central Studios at Reading this year and I love it! The rooms are very nice. New, spacious and comfortable with a lot of storage space. Staff very friendly!

Good value for money. I lived in a flat in Nottingham before I moved here, which cost the same amount of money but had nowhere near the same amount of facilities as Mary Parker House has. I felt really welcome on arrival and I think it feels really homely too.

I am a first year student with Cardiff met and was really nervous about moving away from home. I happened to find Glendower House online and loved the look of the building and the flats available so booked it. The communication from Zoe the house manager was fab in the lead up to moving in and actual moving in day was made so much easier by Zoe. She gave me and my mother a tour of the building and showed me my room for the first time, I loved my room immediately and my mother was put at ease with the fact that I had my own bathroom and kitchen. She also explained that there would be security on site 24/7 for the first month so that made both me and my mother feel better knowing somebody was always going to be there if I needed them. At Glendower House there's a games room with a pool table and board games, a cinema room where they play films for everyone a few times a month and a study room. The facilities are great and really clean, if there's a problem Steve the on site maintenance man will get it sorted as soon as possible. They hold events such as for Halloween for the residents and have things like a breakfast bar and tea and cake a few times a month in reception. There's even free pizza from dominos once a month for the residents. Living at Glendower House has honestly been the best experience and I've only been living here for two months. It has made uni life a lot easier and the events held ensures that the residents can mingle and meet up to lessen the isolation often felt by students who have moved away for the first time. I can honestly say that this is the best place to live for a uni student, not only are the facilities brilliant but the staff are amazing too

Stayed at Haddington Place in Edinburgh and would highly recommend! Great modern building and always had events on and staff would consistently go out of their way to help you. Great location and good bus links to university

I moved to Mary Parker House (Plymouth) because I wanted a room with an en suite that was affordable, but what you get for your money is amazing! You get to go to the on-site gym for free and theres laundry facilities in the building and the building is located about a 10 minute walk from the uni campus and 15 minute walk from town. The staff are also so friendly- Desia and Steve would go above and beyond to help anyone with any problem they ever had!

I live at Mary Parker house and love it! All the facilities are amazing, including a great gym and common room. The rooms are so nice, clean and new. There are also lots of fun activities that take place at the house and encourage everyone to socialise.

I picked Mary Parker House last year because it was really affordable with great sized rooms and a good location! Since recently moving here, I’ve found that the staff are really friendly and it has a really good gym facility included in the price.

I recently moved in to Mary Parker House and have loved the experience. The rooms are big and have so much storage space for all your belongings. The staff are lovely and always will help out- there’s also lots of halls events & competitions. The rooms are affordable and cheap considering what you get for your money.

I’ve recently moved into Mary Parker House in Plymouth, the staff here are wonderful, Desia and Steve work really hard to make you feel happy at home and are so helpful with any queries! The building is always really clean and tidy and the common area & gym are amazing!! The flat is of really high quality and so far, I’m loving my stay here!! My room and bathroom are a really good size too! Definitely recommend!! A great home for the money:)

I moved into Mary Parker House during a bad time in my second year. I was welcomed with open arms and the most friendly staff. They gave me a nice tour and showed all the rooms suitable for my needs. Moving in everyone was helpful. It's very secure and quiet. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. I have had no problems at all since moving in with my flat or the whole building in general.

My stay at Mary Parker House has been nothing but amazing. Has everything you need and more, with great staff that always go out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Great location for students and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Plymouth.

Loving staying here at Mary Parker the staff are lovely, super welcoming feel I can approach them with any problem and they would be more than happy to help. My room is great, clean with loads of room and storage. I have a shared kitchen which has plenty of room for me and my flat mates stuff and its a lovely place to socialise. There is a common room, gym and laundry room on site and the place feels super secure which is fab

Gorgeous building with lovely, friendly staff who are always willing to help. The kitchen and living room are spacious so you can sit down with your flatmates to chill out, the rooms are great too! Any problems get solved straight away. Feel a like a home from home
