Mary parker review

This is my second year living at Mary Parker, and I've loved it. Great common areas, and the bedrooms are really nice. The staff are all lovely and ready to help. Highly recommend, especially to anyone moving away from home for the first time.

Mary Parker House Accommodation

I am an international student and a first year studying at Plymouth university. I found Mary Parker house really nice because of the comfortable room and spacious kitchen. Staff at this accommodation were really nice and helpful and always asked about your well being. They also tried to make sure the environment was conducive for everyone by sending out emails of any problem people were facing and they always notified the residents of there was going to be any sort of inconvenience on their part. I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to study in Plymouth. I won’t be staying here next year because I’m moving into a flat with my course mates but it is a really nice place to be

Canterbury student manor

Canterbury student manor has near constant room inspections, weeks of building work within the flats during stay and bin area rarely cleaned (resulting in rats). Do not recommend.

The Sidings, Penryn

The CRM team at The Sidings student accommodation are a professional, hospitable and caring team. They have ensured my time staying here has been as smooth and comfortable as possible. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they need more recycling bins! Apart from this, I cannot fault them in any other way based off of my personal experience staying with them. Thank you for an enjoyable year CRM Students.

Mary Parker House

I booked Mary Parker House for my first year at Plymouth University. I would’ve rebooked if I didn’t decide to transfer to a different university. The accommodation team is so friendly and welcoming, couldn’t ask for a better team. The room and kitchen I had in my flat were more than I expected, so modern. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to go to Plymouth.

Mary Parker House

For my first year studying at University I stayed at Mary Parker House in Plymouth & because it’s so great I’ve rebooked to stay there for my second year. The building is modern, safe, clean & close to campus. The staff are a delight & are BEYOND welcoming, they’re so friendly & are always happy to help if you need anything or just want a chat! Would highly recommend this accommodation:)

Mary Parker House

I’ve been a resident at Mary Parker House for my first year of University and I have loved it. It’s an amazing value for money and is clean and spacious. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for halls for the university of Plymouth to seriously consider Mary Parker. The management team are part of the reason it is so good as they’re always keen to talk to you if you need it and are warm and welcoming.

Mary Parker house

I live within Mary Parker House in Plymouth and have been studying my first year and have loved every second! Very friendly and kind staff with a lovely manager who is always very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a really good size, aswell as being peaceful and quite it’s perfect for studying but not far out at all from the university life.

Awful company to subcontract for as…

Awful company to subcontract for as they refuse to pay even months after work has been completed. Beware they're quick to take money off the students but less so to pay out on work. Only work for them if they pay upfront to be on the safe side.

Cadnam Hall- Birmingham

Living in Cadnam Hall as an international student has been a great experience! Simon ( the manager) seeks to ensure that you're comfortable in the space. It's a quiet environment which is also great for studying and relatively safe. Will definitely recommend this place, especially for post-graduate students.

DECEITFUL AND UNCONCERNED COMPANY

As an international student I have had pathetic student experience of a lifetime at their property.

Unstirred and lazy staff members , giggling away to glory knowing fully well of underlying issues at the accommodation.

If you ever had an emergency situation , staff will be first to back out.

Tenancy is almost binding ... if you contact them frequently on tenancy violation issues they'll even ignore you !!

Crm accommodation at Granton

Crm accommodation at Granton, Edinburgh. Only good thing is a friendly staff-member and the short distance to the Sea. You might like it if you are a teenager who loves to live in dirt, and don't mind to wake up during the night because of slamming doors or fire-alarms. But if you are a serious student you should find another place. Also it is very expensive, and you will be able to find a nice bigger room in a private shared flat more central to the same money.

Tenants are responsible for tidiness and cleanliness of their living accommodation. Cleaners attend regularly to clean and tidy all communal areas. Tenants are living away from home for the first time and it takes some time for them to adapt. Staff offer frequent reminders to all residents about their responsibilities.

The accommodation is ideally located for those that are attending Edinburgh College. The accommodation may not suit university or mature students but we endeavour to make all tenants welcome. The cost of the accommodation includes all bills and is competitive to the student accommodation market.

Cunning Company Not Afraid to Trick Students!

This is a review for St Giles Studios, Durham. 5 stars for staff friendliness and helpfulness! However, I can't recommend the company due to corrupt management, misleading advertising, and fraud.

I have been unlawfully charged £150 premium studio rent for a room that only fulfills the spec of a cheaper £138 club studio. I know this for 2 reasons. 1. my room area is only 17m2 (I measured this AND remeasured with maintenance staff) and 2. there is no breakfast bar. I made a claim about this to management, asking for a rent reduction. I was then told that not all premium studios have breakfast bars. Regardless of this, the area of the room is club studio size, it's in the numbers, so they can't deny that. Anyway, I found out the person living below me has the exact same room layout as me, but is being charged club studio rate, so that's definitive proof I'm being overcharged. Anything to say about this CRM?

EDIT:
So CRM sneakily changed the specifications for a premium studio on their website from including a "Breakfast bar" to "Some, but not all, Premium studios have the breakfast bar" AFTER I complained about the above issue. I am speechless. You can't just change the description on the website to counteract a complaint. That's just downright fraud. I pity CRM, because all I'm asking for is for a rent reduction. I'm not even asking them to have someone admit they tried to trick me, they can tell me they made a mistake and allocated me the wrong room for all I know - but they just gave away that they're willing to use extraneous measure to twist some ugly truth they are trying to hide.

CRM if you are reading this, please reconsider your unlawful business practices. I have proof of your dishonesty. I have screenshots and even a video of your website before you changed the content to counteract my complaint. Please don't let this get out of hand, and force me to report you or take legal action against you. Please don't take your customers for granted, because soon enough you might find you'll have none. I suggest that you rethink your cunning business practices because students are not as ignorant as you think.

Worst student accommodation ever

Poor property management

1. Cold water shower lasted for two weeks in the middle of November ( avg temperature in Glasgow during that time was 1-6 Celsius ). Constant feedback to the management yet what we received was tons of emails that are falsely reassuring. Poor effort from the team on addressing the problem.

2. Broken kitchen amenities ( i.e.: broken vacuum machine and leaking pipe ). Attempted to complain to the management and multiple excuses were made and no replacement / proper repair.

Conclusion
It is not worth to spend $140 a week on such place. There are more modern and well maintained student accommodations that provide a more comfortable environment for students who are planning to find a place to stay in Glasgow.

We appreciate that this was a frustrating time for you, it was a frustration shared by all the site staff at the time. As a management team, we tried everything we could to resolve the hot water issue. We were in constant communication with our contractor & provided an update at every turn.

Any misleading communication was not intended. We only provided information we were getting from the heating company directly. We are still in dispute with our contractor as to the length of time it took to fix the issue, but we were completely transparent with everyone as to the process & time-frame we were given.

Please do let us know if you have any outstanding maintenance issues, and we will endeavour to rectify them as quickly as possible.

Awful, awful experience.

Livin, Cardiff. Can only collect packages from 10-11 or 4-5... Forget ever getting your post if you're a student on a full time schedule. Also the office staff (Sarah) takes 2 hour+ lunches and only ever seem to be there within the package collection windows, what a nice job that must be! Not to mention having the luxury of leaving early all the time. Paying students inside the building under the counter to do admin work under the guise of being a "volunteer", so really it's just free money! Most of us actually have to work to earn our living. Honestly awful experience with this management company, I will never stay in a CRM building again. My parcels are lost on a WEEKLY BASIS, probably because there is NEVER ANYONE IN THE OFFICE TO SIGN FOR THEM SO THEY ARE LEFT OUT ON THE SIDE. No security on site whatsoever either. I have so many problems with CRM and I tell everyone who considers moving in to one of their buildings. I imagine their policy is to buy property then cut as many costs as possible, well as a direct result of this you have lost out on £24,000 in rent between me and two friends as we will not stay in one of your buildings again. The only saving grace is that the room is nice..... as if that matters with all of these problems.
