I was trying to renew a policy but couldn’t do it online. Couldn’t find a phone number so had to do the chat first and then they gave me the number. So it was a bit annoying trying to do this. Got there in the end. The phone line was a bit hit or miss. I was losing the call handler quite a few times.

Renewed annual holiday insurance over the phone. Was prepared for a long wait and lots of music but was put through to a person after only 5 rings. Very impressed.
As a returning customer a 25% discount was applied.

Speaking to actual people on a claim
Speaking with actual people was the difference here. The agents dealing with my case which was for additional costs incurred following personal injury days prior to a vacation. The staff were helpful knowlagable and the claim was processed efficiently. I renewed again with Columbus.

Very disappointed in this service. I purchased european travel insurance and my flight was delayed so I was sent a lounge access ticket only to find that both lounges were closed and not accepting customers rendering them essentially useless.
