No wonder there rating is so low horrible people to deal with.
I wouldn't even give them a star
I wouldn't even give them a star! Disgraceful and unprofessional I'm sure you are really proud of your so called integrity and the beautiful legacy you leave behind. I I'm not going to educate idiots so won't waste my time. I only hope some of you wake up and realize your own value....but that's why you do this line of work isn't it you don't have any.
They lie and blame everyone else
Absolute joke of a company got a parking ticket forgot about it never received letters from them despite them telling me they’ve sent 3 with no tracked or confirmed delivery told to check my postal service I’ve record letters in the past just not this case they told me I was texted multiple times they texted me once 3 weeks ago in the middle of a working day I forgot then they say check your service provider no chance it can be their fault but their employee never sent a invoice on the day of collecting money despite me putting in my email . No apology felt like she thought I was wasting her time on the phone to ask for one she was rude spoke over me and lied like the person who came to collect the money feels illegal how they treated me and no one to complain to
Deeply Disrespectful and Dismissive…
Deeply Disrespectful and Dismissive Experience with CDER Group
My recent experience with CDER Group has been profoundly upsetting — not just due to the aggressive and inappropriate behaviour of their enforcement agent during a visit to my home, but also due to the deeply unprofessional way my formal complaint was handled.
I submitted a complaint after a distressing visit in which I was spoken over, intimidated, and ignored, despite making it clear the named debtor does not live at my address.
The agent refused to leave, searched through every room, wardrobe and cupboard (not sure what he was hoping to find in my airing cupboard) and would not remove his shoes despite a polite request (due to newly fitted carpets).
I later suffered a severe panic attack,(I have ongoing health concerns), all of which were clearly stated in my complaint.
Rather than address the substance of my concerns, CDER chose to open their final response by implying that my email had been “generated with the assistance of AI”..
an attempt to discredit the substance of my complaint because it was clearly and coherently written - was a transparent deflection tactic.
Even more disturbingly, after I messaged their COO on LinkedIn, two CDER staff members accessed my professional profile. This intrusion following their unwelcome presence in my home, has caused significant additional anxiety and raises serious questions about ethics and boundaries.
CDER’s conduct - both in the field and in complaint handling falls far below acceptable standards.
I have escalated this matter to the Enforcement Conduct Board and would strongly advise others to document their experiences and do the same.
I received a notice of intention to…
I received a notice of intention to take control of my goods letter so I called the company & a random guy awnserd . He was very rude and unprofessional when I was asking to set up a payment plan he told me I could not set up a plan for 6 to 12 months
What is a joke as I'm offering to pay money in instalments as that all I can do .
Then he was rude again then hung up on me.
What a joke of a company
Robbery
So few months ago I received a parking fine. 70 pounds. Totally forgot about it. No second letter, nothing. Than this company, their officer came around with a warning that I owe them 425 pounds. Unbelievable. Robbery. I don't want to have trouble with so I paid 300,all the money that I had available in that moment. I said I'll pay the difference in 2 weeks. They said no. I have to pay now. Very rude and unprofessional. Robbery
Absolutely disgraceful that a company…
Absolutely disgraceful that a company can treat people like this! They have horrible tactics, are so untrained and get money off single parents! People go through Small Claims Court to get them what they deserve!
I have never dealt with such an awful…
I have never dealt with such an awful company before , they are rude on the phone in the call centre , they like to call you a liar and try to intimidate you when you ring up , they need shutting down asap ! They had their enforcement agent follow me around in my car for a good 15 mins even though I didn't receive a letter or nothing through the post ! This was not even from my home address this was when I was out working trying to intimidate me when I called up to complain about this I was called a liar I sent a email to customer care who said they didn't want to know basically and brushed it off so now dealing with the original company that instructed these clowns and also in the process of seeking legal advice I suggest everyone else does too as they are just BULLIES...
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I could . I received a letter from an enforcement agent through the letter box, no knock or ring. I contacted him straight away to explain I had appealed this parking charge and heard nothing. I have had no correspondence from CDER until this dropped through the letter box. I rung to speak to him but no answer so I messaged funny he replied straight away was rude with his responses completely unprofessional. I then also called the call centre again met by completely rude and incompetent staff. A total bullying tactic. I was told I’d had emails I checked my inbox nothing was told could be in junk, that’s great I never check junk and also I’d had texts not being funny but with the amount of scams sent via text I ignore. Think they need to sort things out on how they correspond. Don’t know how these agents sleep at night.
I received several letter addressed to somone unknown.
I received several letter addressed to someone I have never heard of at my address. I returned each one 'Return to Sender', 'unknown at this address'. I next have someone tresspass on my land delivering a letter by hand. I explained the person is unknown at this address. I then have to prove he does not live here by sending very personal details about myself and my home. All this at my time and my expense. When I complained by telephone about all this stress and trouble they had caused me, they were rude, agggessive and a simple could not care less attitude. A vile and nasty company!
the most dodgy in planet and scammer…
the most dodgy in planet and scammer they have got a link with the government, trying to scamming people to take advantage of people as well
I had a very upsetting experience with…
I had a very upsetting experience with CDER Group. I received a threatening text message saying that a removal unit had been booked to take goods from my property today. This was extremely stressful and felt like intimidation.
When I called them to ask how much I supposedly owe, they refused to give me a clear answer. I explained that I get paid on Friday and asked to make the payment then, but they showed no willingness to cooperate or give me time.
Instead of offering help or clear communication, they used pressure, threats, and refused to provide basic information. This felt like harassment and emotional blackmail.
I strongly do not recommend this company. Their behaviour is unprofessional, aggressive, and completely unacceptable.
Everyone should be ashamed for having…
Everyone should be ashamed for having this type of job or business!!! Shocking rude staff. I have appealed with TEC my bailiff so you have no right to contact me anymore!!!
Even a 1 star is being kind .call staff…
Even a 1 star is being kind .call staff are rude not trained atall. They lack empathy compassion and are the most disgusting people I have ever dealt with will tell you one thing so think your okay paying 2 day lates then someone else rings and says completely differnt and threaten you. Everyone who works there should be ashamed of your self and how you can still be in business is beyond me . Bunch of bullies absolutely scummy
Title: An Utter Disgrace – Bullying, Public Humiliation, and Threats from CDER Group
If you want a glimpse into the worst of human behaviour, look no further than the employees of this wretched company. Their callousness and cruelty are truly nauseating.
Their “agent” came to my home unannounced and pinned a 'notice' to my front door — in full view of neighbours — in what I can only describe as an attempt to shame and intimidate me.
When a concerned female neighbour approached to ask what he was doing, the agent responded by threatening to run her over if she didn’t move out of the way. That’s right — a grown man representing a government contractor thought it appropriate to threaten a disabled, vulnerable, 5ft tall woman with violence.
Let’s count the issues:
• Breach of the Public Order Act by making a threatening statement in public
• Failure to comply with the Taking Control of Goods Regulations 2013, especially regarding vulnerable debtors
• Harassment and public humiliation by posting sensitive information in full view
• Serious breach of UK GDPR by exposing personal and case-related data to third parties
• Rude and dismissive complaint staff who show no interest in resolving anything
CDER Group appears to operate without accountability, ignoring vulnerability notices and behaving in direct contradiction to national enforcement guidance, their own stated policies, and basic human decency.
There are hundreds of similar reviews online, all describing the same pattern of bullying and abuse — yet this company continues to receive government contracts. It's a national disgrace.

Here’s how to fight back:
Make an Internal Complaint
You must first complain directly to CDER Group. Keep full copies of what you send and any response. They should respond in 10–20 working days. This is required before escalating to bodies like the HCEOA.
Submit a Court Complaint (you don’t have to wait)
Check if the agent is certified via the government’s certificated bailiff register (search online).
Use the agent’s name to fill in Form EAC2 (Complaint Against a Certified Person) and send it to the court that certified them.
Submit a Subject Access Request (SAR)
Under UK GDPR, you can request all personal data CDER holds about you: visit logs, call recordings, internal notes, etc.
Email your SAR to their data protection officer (find details on their privacy policy). Include your name, address, reference numbers, and ask for “all personal data held about me”.
They must respond within one calendar month. If not, report them to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Report to the Enforcement Conduct Board (ECB)
This new independent body oversees enforcement companies in England and Wales. You can file a complaint with them (search “Enforcement Conduct Board UK”).
If a High Court Enforcement Officer (HCEO) is involved
You must wait for the internal complaint outcome before escalating to the High Court Enforcement Officers Association (HCEOA).

To those who morally judge people in debt:
Debt is not a character flaw. It's often the result of disability, illness, trauma, or job loss. No one deserves to be bullied, humiliated, or threatened for struggling — especially not by private companies profiting off vulnerability.
====
The UK government hires this company to collect public debts. That alone should alarm any decent person. We need proper oversight, protections for the vulnerable, and an end to the outsourcing of cruelty.
If you’ve experienced similar abuse:
Don’t stay silent. REPORT IT. CHALLENGE IT. SHARE YOUR STORY.
Together, we can hold them accountable.
CDER - appalling behaviour to young mum
I received a telephone call from my daughter at around 8.30 on Saturday 14 June - extremely upset. She was alone in the house with her 2 young children, her husband have left for work. She came downstairs to find a man from CDER demanding £500 for a clean air voilation some months ago. He insisted that recorded delivery demands had been sent when I pointed out these have to be signed for he stated he may have got it wrong. One letter had been received. He was also in the process of tagging the family car. My daughte works from work and would have received all post and no recorded deliveries received. He saw an unopened advertising letter on the table and said you have an unopened letter - my daughter opened the correspondence in front of him - it was nothing of consequence. I paid the bill. No option was given to negotiate. He seemed to enjoy his position of power over my distressed daughter who had to ask the children to return to their rooms. His parting shot was you can bring your children down now. Is this really a company sanctioned and approved of by Governments and local councils. Why was no negotiation offered over what was originally a very small fine for going into Birmingham. This was clearly bullying and misogynistic behaviour and clearly this company does not project ,on this occasion ,the image it seeks to advertise on their website.
My wife's car was clamped by incompetence
My wife's car was clamped because the employee of Cdergroup did not bother to check the number plate. my wife is 6 months pregnant and was out at work during this time which as you can imagine caused stress beyond belief. Apparently the camera that Cdergroup used picked up the number plate 'G' as a 'S' The employee dint bother to check it and just clamped the car. The car make colour or model did not even match at all. This was on wynn road, at 920 on the 13th June. I contacted them by phone when the car was clamped and was informed to put my complaint in a email and they would get back to me in 10 days. which is a joke. the guy that clamped the car eventually returned to the car and unclamped it.
Any one fancy giving me a call to apologies that would be great.
Shocking Company (if that's what you can call them)!
So apparently after 12 years of being at my property, they are now trying to trace a previous occupier. Having sent proof that I live at the property, this is not good enough, and I keep receiving the same generic email from them.
They have now sent someone round with a hand delivered letter.
I have given up trying to prove that I do not know the person in question and told them to keep turning up at my property, and I will call for the police!
What a farce of a company!
Low IQ customer care team
I think all there service agents and enforcement agents were dropped on there head as children. A genuine company of numbskulls
Can’t even have a reasonable conversation without them putting the phone down. Scum of the earth company
What a complete bunch of halfwits
What a complete bunch of halfwits! the staff on the phones are maybe ok as they are only do there job and its recorded, but as for the recovery numties they think they think they are a law unto them self's. This recovery driver went a little bit to far this time with text messages to my daughter which has been saved and will be used as evidence as to his disrespectful attitude. Happy times!!!
