I am an IT Manager for a mid-sized retail company that primarily sells B2C. We have a great team of IT resources in-house, and that allows us to be flexible and nimble when putting together solutions for our enterprise.
Brightpearl has been an excellent partner in helping us to develop. They have a friendly and efficient support staff, and they have enabled us to do many projects that take advantage of the excellent API.
I highly recommend this software for small to mid-sized companies that have advanced ERP needs, but don't want to pay the exorbitant fees that come with many competing products.

I'm writing this review almost a month after switching over to Brightpearl, so still quite early on our journey.
We went into this change project with open eyes and a pragmatic attitude. Our business follows traditional retail, eCommerce processes and we wanted to move away from bespoke integrations and complex workarounds towards the elusive off the shelf system.
Our expectations around functionality have been met and in many cases exceeded. Inevitably there have been compromises, even the occasional "I can't believe it doesn't do that" but nothing significant.
Inevitably with system change you have to invest a lot of effort and resource to making it successful. Project support from Brightpearl is mostly remote, the further we got into the relationship the more self sufficient we’ve become using the comprehensive online support resources. That’s not to detract from the support we’ve had during the implementation which has been good but don’t expect someone on site holding your hand the whole time.
I think this is my sixth or seventh retail systems change project in 30 years, including bespoke mainframe, SAP and tiny off the shelf with lots of customisation. I can honestly say this has been the least disruptive and had the highest engagement.

We've been with Brightpearl for 5 years now and have been extremely happy. It integrates nicely with basically all software that we need it to so we can list products on various different channels with synced inventory & prices. Along with that we use Brightpearl as our central hub for everything, including sales, purchasing, accounting, and reporting. Very good software overall and very good support as well.

With so many ERP platforms, the provider builds a product and completely neglects the service element, with every question you ask their support pointing you to their help section (when most of the time the true answer is more complex than a bare-bones help guide can handle).
I'm happy to say that Brightpearl are different. They really take their time to look at your business individually and solve the specific problems you face. Their great support team respond quickly, know the software inside out and together with our Technical Account Manager (shout out to James E), set about figuring out the most effective ways to solve our business problems using the software.
I'd be happy to recommend Brightpearl to any growth-focused mid-sized company as a great combination of product and service that can grow with your business.

Brightpearl has been and still is a wonderful partner to do business with. They are quick to respond to questions or concerns about their system. They have an amazing support team that listens to their customers. Brightpearl provides solutions that help businesses rather than burden them with workarounds.
There was a learning curve to adjust to their system, but as our business looks to grow and scale, we quickly found Brightpearl to be the most open and small business friendly than the competition. Brightpearl's automation rules and order processing has been a great help with our recent record hitting sales months.
Our account representative, Jillian Pope has been an amazing part of our Brightpearl lives. She continually offers our business new solutions that continue to evolve with their platform. Jillian also watches over our account for odds and ends that get lost along the way. Brightpearl cares about their customers and enables them to succeed.

From customer service and order fulfillment to inventory management and accounting, Brightpearl makes it easy for us to manage operations, so that we can focus on growing the business. We have been using Brightpearl for 4 months. First off, I want to say our team is happy with the software. We spent months evaluating different software before making the change. The Brightpearl team was very informative with demos and answering our specific questions. This helped us make the decision to go with them.
The onboarding process was very in depth and it tailored Brightpearl to our business processes. Our onboarding specialist, John, spent weeks getting to know our business, adjusting the settings and training our team.
After launch we were assigned a customer support rep, Jovente. He and the technical support team have been fantastic. We’ve had many questions as we continue to learn to use the system and adjust it to our ever-changing business. They are quick to respond. If the question requires more time and research, we can rely on them to always get back to us.
The biggest factor when deciding to switch to Brightpearl was all the integrations and the automation. We have been able to more easily integrate with the ecommerce tools we use (Amazon, eBay, Shipstation, Inventory Planner, Mailchimp). We have also set up automations to eliminate the need for manual actions on repetitive tasks. This is a big time saver for our lean team.

We have really grown to appreciate the small details that Brightpearl is able to track. Being able to know exactly what our costs are at all times is crucial and a huge pain to keep up with in general. Brightpearl certainly makes that a bit easier as well as being able to segment multiple warehouses for different purposes without crossing the vital information in between. Definitely would recommend to other businesses our size.

Brightpearl got our business back on track! It brought all of our selling channels into one place seamlessly and made order fulfillment easy. Before using them we were days behind on shipping because of the time needed to process orders. Now I can take an order and have it shipped in 5 minutes. I have not missed shipping my orders the same day because of them.
Their automation has saved my team time from checking every order. We can filter the orders with issues and get them corrected before the customer even knows their is an issue. We contact customers before they contact us!
Brightpearl like any new company has had a few hiccups as they grew. We were one of there first customer and have stayed with them because they do their best to improve and work with you to get it figured out. You can not ask more of a company then that! I have made suggestions and actually saw them happen!
One of the main issues I had originally was with customer support. That has been fixed beyond my expectations. Without me asking they came out to see us for a few days to meet us and better understand our business.
My business is able to continue to grow because of the work the Brightpearl team is doing and they literally have taken a hands on approach to the way they interact with us.

This platform is the engine that manages our business. We have been using it for four years with great success. Ideal for omnichannel retailers. We use it to manage our sales (orders and fulfillment), purchasing, inventory, product catalog and demand forecasting. Customer support is world class. Every month brings new features as well as updates and improvements to existing functions. The automation module enabled us to reduce "busy work" and deploy our resources towards more value added activities.

It has been a We have been using Brightpearl for over a year. It has been a rewarding experience integrating with multiple online marketplaces. It is certainly a huge challenge adapting a ERP system without and previous experience. But Brightpearl’s team has been supportive and comprehensive at the starting stage which makes the transition possible. This system can help you streamline the operation by unifying and diversifying the stores in an organized fashion. If you are struggling with inventory management, I would recommend Brightpearl to you. Managing multiple store’s online will become more and more efficient. I would not say that the system is water tight perfect as developments are implementing monthly. I do appreciate the frequent updates and site visiting from Brightpearl. This certainly builds up a much closer relationship.
I would suggest BP to improve the problem solving procedures. The support center is great for discussing issues which requires long-term feedbacks and constant updates (Bassically the issues that are not expected to be resolved right away). If the glitch/issues require immediate solution or at least a respond, I find the support center is not sufficient enough to handle the situation. A customer service hot line would be ideal. I really hope that this is something on BP’s drawing board.
