It has been a We have been using Brightpearl for over a year. It has been a rewarding experience integrating with multiple online marketplaces. It is certainly a huge challenge adapting a ERP system without and previous experience. But Brightpearl’s team has been supportive and comprehensive at the starting stage which makes the transition possible. This system can help you streamline the operation by unifying and diversifying the stores in an organized fashion. If you are struggling with inventory management, I would recommend Brightpearl to you. Managing multiple store’s online will become more and more efficient. I would not say that the system is water tight perfect as developments are implementing monthly. I do appreciate the frequent updates and site visiting from Brightpearl. This certainly builds up a much closer relationship.
I would suggest BP to improve the problem solving procedures. The support center is great for discussing issues which requires long-term feedbacks and constant updates (Bassically the issues that are not expected to be resolved right away). If the glitch/issues require immediate solution or at least a respond, I find the support center is not sufficient enough to handle the situation. A customer service hot line would be ideal. I really hope that this is something on BP’s drawing board.

BrightPearl is a strong player in the cloud ERP space, and it has helped us grow since we started using the platform over 3 years ago. They are continually improving the product and support team. We are happy with the overall experience, and would recommend it to other distribution/wholesale/e-commerce companies.

We've been a customer of Brightpearl since 2014, in that time our sales have doubled.
We like the system and the introduction of automation features has been a welcomed bonus that we've taken advantage of over the last 12 months with more in the pipeline.
After a review last year where we considered changing bright pearl for another provider, happy to say that the introduction of our "customer success manager" Nathan gamlin, has been a big help and makes sure we get the most out of brightpearl.
If an all in one system for Sales, CRM, Inventory and Accounting is what you want - I'd recommend Brightpearl.

Those people think that they have the best system in the world - but this is only theirs opinion. Glitch after glitch after glitch. I have been with them for 3 years in that time there wasn't any month without glitch. I have been paying 3,600 a year, after 3 years they risen price to 16,800 - yes 16.800. For all extra connections like Royal Mail or Parcelforce you have to use third party company (pay again another 3000£ a year) . There are a lot better and cheaper companies in the market, For example now we pay 1800 a year without any extra third parties integrations (all in). I would not recommend to anyone. They api connector with ebay is so weak that if you sell more then 150 same products then it will not update your stock as api don't allow more then that. Amazon - pending orders are not taking stock out from inventory so You will 100% oversell this happens to us many time. Only one person in this company deserves approbation his name is Michael Oldman - sorry for you mate that you have to work there.

We moved to Brightpearl in February 2013 so have been using it for over 4 years now with very little complaint. We transitioned from Sage Line 50 accounts and Microsoft Business Contact Manager (and extension of Microsoft Office), both excellent stand alone products that served us well but they did not talk to each other. Brightpearl combined our CRM, accounting, purchasing, inventory control and reporting into one single solution. The sales team can see all customer and supplier history at a glance as soon as they start a conversation with them.
The other big attraction for us was the cloud based hosting. The old Sage and MS systems were native to our computers and demanded constant updating, back ups and version checks. This headache has been removed from us.
One thing we would like to see is a connector to our bank, it is time consuming to manually enter and reconcile bank transactions with Brightpearl, we use another cloud based accounting software in our other business which links to our bank account and pushes new transactions straight to the ledgers in the accounting software, this saves us a huge amount of time and would like to see the same functionality added to Brightpearl.
In a nutshell, if you run a retail business that carries 100s of SKU items and you have 100s or 1000s of customers, multiple sales channels and you want exceptional visibility over your business, Brightpearl is an incredible tool.

We have search high and low and so many of the other options require a lot of 3rd party integrations. Brightpearl can take care of a large portion of our needs all with one single piece of cloud software.
Connects to our website, ebay, Amazon and POS and gives us live inventory.
We moved to Brightpearl in 2011, dropping a legacy accounting package with bolted-on CRM and Inventory.
It would be hard to find a piece of software that is such a good all rounder.
Is it the best CRM in the world? No. But it is much better than a lot of accounting packages with a CRM bolted on.
Is it the best accounting package? No. But it is much better than many other options for managing inventory, sales and customers in the same place.
We haven't looked back in the past 6 years. We are lucky to have had a technical expert on our team that handled much of the configuration, set up and deployment. We've even integrated extra features using Brightpearl API to extend functionality (Shipping goods, automating communication, customer pipe-lining).
Over 7 years our business has grown considerably yet we maintain a small back office support team who manage all online sales (Magento integration), over the phone sales, purchase orders, dropshipping and all the accounting and CRM activity for our customer base.
We take control of some of the aspects that BP don't cover (such as automation for emails) using a Zapier integration we've custom built. This lets us resolve our particular requirements without waiting on BP to deploy the features.
Our company, FullBucket Health, has been using Brightpearl for four years. Brightpearl and its support team have helped us to scale operations from animal health distribution to online, and to track sales metrics in real time. We did have to move to a more sophisticated accounting firm from our original bookkeeper due to some of the accounting/journaling complexities, but well worth it for our company.
We sell a line of patented children's mittens on Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, our own website, and eBay and we spent an enormous amount of man hours every day updating our inventory levels manually until we found Brightpearl. Now, we never oversell any of our products on any of these channels and have been able to cut down on staff needed to keep track of our inventory. In addition, the seamless integration with Shipstation brings a sense of security that all orders are shipped and tracking information posted accurately.
We have been using brightpearl for several years now and the core function of the system has been to centralise around the accounts and stock management. This means it's super easy to keep control of the business critical systems. The system has grown and expanded and as a small business I don't need a lot of this but it's there incase. The most important thing we have found is the super easy simple Brightpearl POS solution that is sharing the same core data for products/customers/payments as our website and accounts in real time so if the last item sells online then we don't over sell this in store at the weekend. Even as a small business we have constantly changing stock and a large number of products (over 11,000) so need control of those as simply as possible. Brightpearl has done that for us along with accounts functionality.
I hope as brightpearl expands it can keep true to it's roots of supporting small businesses with a system that would normally only be available to big business with big budgets.
We struggled to find the best ecommerce system for our business model = design, manufacture and wholesale for years.
We reviewed about 20 systems in all and paid a fortune to implement 2 that simply did not deliver - such as waste of money.
We thank goodness eventually found Brightpearl - it has quite simply transformed things for us.
I don't know how we ran a business like ours before BP. It is cloud-based, easy to use, intuitive and so so clever.

Brightpearl is a great system, the support is also excellent. Time savings, ease of use and general retail environment needs are well catered for. The layout of the Brightpearl screen is the most intuitive, especially compared to other accounts systems out there. Clearly there will always be small issues with using the system, but these are resolved well and in a timely way. Updated versions are automatic, and come with real improvements!
We have been using Brightpearl for 4 years now and it has been a huge step forward for our mail order business. The software is powerful yet intuitive and the fact that it is cloud based and continually being improved is a huge bonus. I would recommend Brightpearl to anyone who is looking for a fully integrated solution for their business.
Brightpearl's strengths are its 'access anywhere' cloud based technology which means no on site installations, maintenance or backups; its sales and purchase ordering (SO/PO) with ability to adapt workflows to meet requirements, e.g. we need to progress our SO through various stages as we deal with complex made to order goods, labelling SO with statuses and cloning to multiple PO as we order materials from suppliers to build the goods; its integrated accounting; and integrated links to ecommerce platforms like Shopify.
We are a 2 employee company with occasional other support users. Having left Sage and completed the move over to Brightpearl, the amount of time saved has had an astronomical effect on our business (and personal lives).
This business efficiency has been achieved through automated integration and record updating on multiple sales channels. The flexibility is in being able to travel anywhere with internet, with live up-to-date records, and still offer good customer service.
Multiple warehouse/stock locations have made so much difference to inventory control in a way that Sage Line 50 simply did not facilitate.
In areas where BP has not been designed to support business procedures that we have in place, the flexibility of the BP system allowed us to adapt BP to work for us in the way that we need it to.
Changing system is never a pleasant experience, but BP is a very intuitive system, easy to self-train. The support system is personal, reliable and efficient.
I am a book-keeper not a coder, and this is an easy to use, flexible, fully trackable system for sales and purchases history with user transaction identification.
Since we began using Brightpearl we have been able to streamline everything which has made it much easier to run our business. We were able to get the team trained up with the system quickly due the easy set up and layout.
