We’ve been using Brightpearl since…

We’ve been using Brightpearl since 2015, and it’s become an absolutely essential part of how we run our business. It seamlessly automates our sales orders across multiple marketplaces, manages our warehouse operations efficiently, and serves as our core accounting system, all in one platform.

The system has saved us countless hours by reducing manual processes and improving accuracy across different stages of our workflow. The integration between channels is smooth, and reporting is quick.

I would recommend Brightpearl to any ecommerce business looking to streamline their operations.

Too expensive for what it does

Too expensive for what it does, terrible at data handling. The pitch is eloquent, but most of what the sale side says, the system can't really do in the way it's promoted. There are more capable stock and warehouse systems out there for less money - a lot less money.

Brightpearl has been a solid system for us – stable, reliable, and with strong automation that saves time every day. The Shopify integration works great, and overall value for money is very good. Only limitation we’ve met is some API restrictions for deeper integrations, but that’s minor compared to the benefits.

We migrated onto BP in August and have…

We migrated onto BP in August and have been live coming on 12 months, the scoping calls were very extensive and our processes were well documented.
We wanted to migrate all our sales data from our old system to BP which was a massive task in data formating and cleansing on our part. Post go live we had alot of moving parts feeding into BP and on the whole this seemed to work okay, although during our peak trading season we did find ourselves with displaced stock or not accurate stock holding - this was due mainly to users not being familiar with the auto transfer / stock allocation process.
Since go live there has been constant monitoring of sales transaction and stock movement to ensure things are working as expected.
Brightpeal is a technical system and sometimes feels overly complicated but I think this is due to it being aimed at big warehouse type businesses where there would be multiple people working in different area's of the fulfilment processs - this makes the process very long winded when we are talking about a single person doing the picking packing and shipping.
the many integrations between all the POS, Shipping platforms do require regular maintenance and this in itself become quite complicated.

Brightpearl

We have used Brightpearl since 2021, it has enabled us to be very flexible with different locations, sales channels, processes and other products we would like to bolt onto the system. Our two account managers are fantastic, always working hard to solve any problems that do arise. The automation has made the workflows across the company very efficient.

Just renewed our annual contract for…

Just renewed our annual contract for the 11th year. Couldn't contemplate being without Brightpearl and having ALL information in one place.

They deserve 5 stars except for one niggle they never put right. When selecting a date for a P&L report, why doesn't it default to the current year. Instead it defaults to 2000 then to 2020 and then to 2025. It is so very tedious.

Absolutely horrible service by…

Absolutely horrible service by our rep. Trying to get a plan together that worked and then she just ignored us until it was too late and we had to sign a higher priced contract to avoid it being shut off. We will never renew again

After reviewing the contract negotiation conversations, I can see we tried to provide a price point that more closely aligns with your current business needs. Unfortunately, it seems the terms were not agreed upon as you had requested a further discount upon an existing discount and so the renewal was processed with that existing discount applied. I'm sorry to hear this was not what you were hoping for, and I hope we are able to mend our relationship over the next year.

We moved to Brightpearl in September…

We moved to Brightpearl in September 2022 because we needed to streamline the online side of our business and also manage shared stock with our retail store. It has been a great move for us and has significantly reduced the amount of manual admin required for each order, saving time and money. I would recommend Brightpearl to online or multi-channel businesses.

A happy customer for 11years

We have been using Brightpearl since 2014. We have moved twice to different platforms during this time,
both times, the integration was straightforward, and support was always at hand if needed. A very reliable system, with a fantastic support team on hand. We have been a happy customer for over 10 years and can't think of using anyone else - highly recommended.

Brilliant partnership and business enabler

We have been working with Brightpearl since 2023 when we launched our UK website, Nicolaharding.com, selling high-end furniture, lighting and home decor.

The partnership has been excellent and the software is a key enabler for the growth of our business. It is not the perfect solution, but I have never seen a SAS system that works exactly as you would want it to across all facets of a business.

However, we are a complex business with multiple inventory locations, multiple markets, multiple customer types etc, and the Brightpearl team have been amazing at helping us to adapt their solution to our needs. It has been one of the most collaborative tech partnerships that I have enjoyed in my career, I would highly recommend them.

Having used Brightpearl since 2013, we outgrew some of the warehouse offerings the system has as default. As such Brightpearl were able to point us to Peoplevox, one of their warehousing partners and we have taken our business to the next level.

Using since 2011 and very happy

I have been using BP since 2011 and it has been excellent value for money in my opinion and the single best business decision we have made in that time. Automation has been very useful although I'd like to see it expanded to work on Purchase Orders as well as just Sales orders. Native reporting is sometimes limited but the ability to extract over the API has allowed us to get what we need and overcome this issue.
