Took 15 days for them to get the order RIGHT , Then they forgot to send the trans fluid . Was told a core pick up date . an sat all day waiting an they never showed up to get it .. Dont Know what happened to their service Dept ... Then they wont even return my E mail Use to be called AME Transmissions . They are a Broker an use ETE Rem out of WI . They only Offer a 3 year warranty So the 5 year warranty is ???

I had a very small issue with my transmission it ended up in the shop and they backed there warranty 100%. Jonathan and Anthony and Mike the technician and their whole team is amazing they work hard to get the problem resolved and stand behind their product I was going through a really difficult time trying to get ready to leave town and they made it happen to get my problem resolved as soon as they possibly could which is faster than anyone else could’ve done it. I just want to say thank you again you guys are amazing and a great company and really do build good transmissions just because there was a flaw due to a bad install from a professional shop does not mean you guys do not stand behind your product and make a good product I would recommend Best Buy transmissions to anyone who needs a transmission great people to work with and deal with.

Hello, I wanted to give the transmission I installed in my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 plenty of time to break in before I wrote a review so I figure 3 years after the install was a pretty good time. I actually just did the first transmission service with 20000 miles on the transmission, bands adjusted fluid and filter changed and everything is looking awesome. I was really surprised at how well the transmission is performing. There’s a lot of scams on the internet but this is not one of them. So it's been a few months now since my purchase in October 2019, and quite a few thousand miles, short trips, longer trips, highways, local driving, mountain roads, and everything in between. So far the replacement automatic transmission and torque converter I purchased and had installed in my 2005 Dodge Dakota 4x4 (v6) has held up to everything I've thrown at it. Started off with a little bit of a rumble whenever shifting between 1st and 2nd gear, but it didn't affect the performance, and that has since went away. Little bit of a break in period maybe? Either way, I couldn't be happier with my purchase, they were professional in every way, and their price could not be beat.

I purchased a EO4D from Best about 18 months ago for my 1991 F350 7.3 IDI truck. Shipping and returns was super easy. WOW this truck always had some trouble pulling heavy loads because its a non turbo engine. With this transmission it has improved it's towing. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't own it, We shopped hard over the internet and locally. Best was 800.00 cheaper than my next choice. I recommend these guys to anyone needing a transmission. Would do it over again the same.

Great price for a transmission which has worked out excellent

I bought a 4l60e unit and it has never lived up to the oem unit from GM, the ‘new’ transmission revs out much higher and much longer than stock. Shifting from 3rd to 4th gear there is a loud snapping noise coming from the unit. I’m very disappointed after spending nearly 3k to fix this problem I’m left with an inferior quality part.

After considerable time shopping for a transmission for my 2010 Impala, I found the very best deal at Best Buy Transmissions. One of the 1st things, not only the price, but also the fact that I did not have to leave an upfront deposit of $400 for the core. The company trusted my honesty to return the core. The transmission was shipped almost immediately for a $50 fee to be dropped off and wheeled right into my home garage. This price also included when, a few days later, the truck returned and picked up the core. The transmission was shipped & delivered in (almost) a bullet-proof delivery case. After I installed the transmission I waited almost a month to write this Review, and all I can say is: everyone needs to look no further than this company for an excellent replacement transmission. I never review anything but after replacing the 4l80e in my 01 2500 hd on 9-3-19 and using it for a month , the one I took out was better then the replacement.. You will have to install a shift kit to tow with it void your warranty or burn it up and hope for warranty, My advice is spend a little more and buy local lot of work taking in and out.

No problems whatsoever with fit as they made sure I had the correct one. Been over 6 months now no problems . Will definitely buy from again if need be,

Started leaking the first week and im not sure if it will last. This is for a totally different vehicle the the 2 i got from best buy. Great company and great product.

This is the best purchasing process EVER.
I had the transmission a day earlier than expected.
This is a remanufactured transmission for the price of an average rebuild with a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty AND they come with any and all updates available including the torque converter that comes with it.
The salesman I dealt with (sorry dude, I'm terrible with names) couldn't have been any better. I first contacted him about a month before I ended up buying and he called to see if my truck was still working for now.
Hard to find service like that these days.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I can honestly say I would give them a 12.

It shifts better than when it was new, the whole transaction was excellent, the price and warranty makes BestBuy Transmission tops in my opinion. The Good: ordered online-with some trepidation as I am in CA..got an immediate confirmation and request for VIN to verify. I had the correct transmission the next day. It has been in the car for 2,000 miles and works great.
The Bad: it came in a cracked plastic carry case, the extra fluids leaked all over the delivery truck and the bell housing had two of the mounting tabs broken off. Contacted, they agreed to refund a portion to cover the labor of replacing the bell housing, which we did.
The Ugly-3 months later have still not paid the refund and just stopped answering emails..........
Today 1/10/19--got an email confirming the refund..would up my rating to 4 stars.....

You treated Hobotech beyond fair. No other company would do what you did for him. As one of the doubters early on, I stand corrected and am not afraid to admit I was wrong! If I ever need a transmission, I plan to check your site first!

Was unsure about ordering a transmission online but the reviews were good. Main reason was the warranty as I drive 40,000 miles a year. 20,000 miles so far and no issues. Car shifts smoother that it ever did. Very easy to do business with from start to finish.
