Now that's what I call quick service

I'm looking forward to reading "The Joiner and Cabinet Maker" and I've already tried the "Morakniv Pro Chisel" which works great.

Great handle to restore a vintage hand axe
Needed a new handle for the axe my great-grandfather passed on to me. That had lasted at least 100 years before it got wobbly so I wanted something of similar quality. Woodsmiths' looked good and the price was the best on offer. It was delivered really fast and didn't disappoint. Fitting was straightforward and I appreciated the oak wedge and iron locking wedge. It's back in use and I've spent much more time than it needed giving it an extra smooth finish and vintage patina in honour of the original...

The MTC spokeshave is a really nice piece of kit. It feels right and comes sharpened and ready to use.
Originally out of stock but Woodsmith told me when new stock arrived and I got one through the door within a week. Difficult to improve on this service.

Every time I've shopped with Woodsmith I've been totally impressed with the quality of kit, the way it was shipped (and the materials used for packing), plus, the odd time when I've had to ask for more info. it's been thorough, really well informed and friendly. In fact, they've sort of earned my trust in what they choose to stock, so sometimes when I'm torn between all sorts of options on a tool, I just pick the one they sell, because they seem to really know their stuff and I'm pretty sure it'll be one of the best of its kind (at that pricepoint).
