Excessive Carriage
Whilst the service level was good, the carriage charge of £19.99 + vat was excessive. I know this as I forwarded the goods purchased onto my customer for £7.40 inc vat via Royal Mail on a next day delivery !

I’d like to address the points regarding delivery costs.
We charge our customers based on the actual fees we incur from our contracted third-party carrier.
As a construction company, many of our products require palletisation, and most cannot be packaged, which makes them classified as bulky or awkward freight. Unfortunately, this limits our options for carriers, leading to higher shipping costs that we must pass on to our customers. We do not profit from these charges.
Handling hundreds of orders daily, we rely on a dependable contracted carrier to pick up and deliver our products as per the requested service.

Don't waste your time. Customer service is awful. There are plenty of other places where you can spend your money hassle free.

Whilst we’re very sorry to hear you’ve encountered delays with your project due to placing an order after our cut off time, I fail to see how this represents poor customer service on our behalf?
You also made no attempt to reach out to us directly on the day of ordering to express any urgency on the order having knowingly placed it all be it 8mins after 15.00.
The cut off of 15.00 for next working day delivery is clearly stated on our home page, our T&C’s and also at checkout when you’re selecting your delivery option.
We are an exceptionally busy company and our cut off time is in place to ensure we can pick, load and dispatch all customer orders placed up until 15.00 in order to meet the strict requirements of the courier with the operational resources we have.
I also don’t feel leaving multiple 1-star reviews from different accounts is either fair, nor proportionate given S2S hasn’t actually done anything wrong in this situation?

Avoid! Shockingly poor customer service. Their system processed my order at 15:08 for next day delivery, but the didn't ship it "because it was after 3pm". Now the build is delayed by 3 days over the weekend, because of 8 minutes!! There is no way all their parcels leave the building exactly 3pm. If I treated my customers this way, I could shout down tomorrow!
