Kam & Onkar were very hard working. They turned up and got on with the job straight away. Total of 7 windows and 1 door. Very good quality workmanship. I asked for a couple of adjustments during final inspection and they were done with no hassle. They left no mess and windows were cleaned. Overall I would recommend Universal windows and Kam & Onkar.

New door fitted, took less than 2 hours and the fitters were very professional

From the initial survey, booking an installation date to the fitting of the new door Universal have been polite, clear with their communications and prompt. The installation team were a pleasure to deal with. Works were carried out quickly and cleanly. Would highly recommend Universal to carry out any work you were considering having done.

Work was done very well, they made sure I was happy with my new door, communication was very good, would definitely use this company again.

To be honest I was very patient and polite for the last 3 months but I lost my patience with them.
21 of october 2024 they started a job of replacing conservatory roof and all windows and doors. They finished the job in 3 days. It was already complications during installation we agreed one type of roof material but after they nearly finished putting it on on the lats layer they found out that the angle is wrong and the water will get in. OK we agreed on a different material. It looked good from the outside. In the inside after they finished and cleaned up we noticed a bug dent right in the middle of the ceiling. It is white plastic cladding so nothing can be done. I mentioned that straight away and photos have been taken. Same time the main manager contacted me about payment. I mentioned that dent and he sounded that he is going to do something about it so I paid but nothing since. In a few weeks time it started to rain and the roof started to leak inside. We already laid a carpet on the floor and finished all the jobs inside. I contacted them and they said that next week guys are going to come and sort it out. They did come they put some silicone on sides. Next rain same thing. LEAKING. Spoke with office again arranged another visit…. They already been twice in last 2 months, 3 times arranged a visit and didn’t come. I waisted my days off work. It is still leaking. I even been to their main office trying to sort it out. I spoke with a manager and he assured me that he will sort it out. Two weeks gone and nothing is done.
IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND HAVE A GOOD JOB DONE GO TO ANOTHER PLACE.

Thank you to Kam and Onkar for doing an excellent job installing nine windows over two days in the first week of February. We were fortunate the weather was warmer and dryer than typical for this time of year. The guys laid down drop sheets, cleaned up after themselves and worked quickly and efficiently. They answered my questions and quickly resolved the minor snagging issues I had on three trickle vents I spotted on my final check round.

The windows themselves look and function well, and seem to be keeping the house significantly warmer thanks to the reduction in draughts. It hasn’t rained properly since installation so I can’t yet comment on their full weatherproofing but I have no reason to doubt it.

Just fitted our new front door. Brilliant service very quick and the lads who fitted it, Kam and Onkar were brilliant at their job. Cleaned up afterwards too. Definitely deal with them again!! Thank you ☺️

Kam and his team have done a great job. The windows look nice and I am pleased with the improved access to the back garden from the dining room. Previously there was only a window and I have full height window and door. Well done!!

Had my first floor fitted with 5 windows in one day by Kam and Onkar. Boys arrived early, were very professional, cleaned after themselves and were gone in about 7 hours. House has never been this warm, thank you

We had abit of problem with them at the beginning regarding fitting date, the kit for the frame didn't arrive for our due fitting date, was very disappointed with this, but it was just before Christmas which we did think was a bit hurrid, but we eventually had a new date for January! We were having a new patio sliding door fitted. The window fitters Kam and Onkar worked really well, it was -4 when they arrived very cold, but they didn't let the cold weather deter them. They were both very plesant and friendly, knew there job well. Didn't leave any mess cleared up as they went, would recommend them and use them again. Would like to say thank you to Kate who sorted out our date problem.

Kam and Onkar did a fantastic job installing 7 windows for me over 2 days. The guys have very good work ethic. They are the best at window fitting. Their work is very neat inside out and I love the windows I highly recommend them.

I have revised my rating to 4 instead of 5. This is because of poor communication regarding issuing of FENSA certificate and written warranty. In the end Katie came through to resolve all my concerns. I now have received by email warranty and FENSA certificate. I hope the company will look at their after sales protocols to make improvements to avoid misunderstanding.

We were initially visited by Lisa who went through all of our requirements and features and benefits of the windows, the decision period when it came to the cost felt a little pressured as she was insistent on the amount we could save could change dramatically however reluctantly they allowed us to make a decision overnight and very quickly we had a surveyor come. The surveyor was friendly but contradicted some of the things Lisa had told us in regard to the instillation. I tried to contact the office and was told the installation manager would call me to talk through it but never got a call back. When it came to installation Kam and Onkar spent several days working hard to fit windows over the whole house. Were very pleasant and attentive to detail, most damages (which were minimal and informed before hand) were made good. The windows are now keeping the heat in and have had no issues with any of the locks.
Would look to use again in the future if we ever have to.

We had our windows fitted 9/12/24 by Harry and his team, who were very pleasant. They worked tireless to finish the job. The fitting of the windows was excellent and they cleaned up after they finished and were very pleasant.

I had a door to door sales agent knock about 2 months ago, and I agreed to a follow up call about his professionalism, as I stated multiple times that I was not interested in windows or guttering at this time.

I had a call the following day, and it was all about trying to get someone into my house to quote, and I promptly shut this down and asked for my details to be removed. Since then several times a week I get calls from random numbers, or withheld numbers, claiming they've never contacted me, the person who took my details took them down wrong so I know its the same source.
I have asked to have my details removed but they just hang, up and today I explained I will be reporting to police for harassment, and ICO for GDPR regulation breaches, the sales agent who first identified as Josh, but later as John Doe, said I was lying and that he would call me next week, they actually called 6 minutes later pretending to be a different company.

Edit: 10 December 2024. Received a call from one of the managers. He had seen this review and promised to get my details removed and talk with the individuals about call handling. Based on this I am updating this and depending if the calls stop I will update this further. The call sounded genuine and maybe there is a few bad apples in the company that need some training.

Received another follow up call checking to make sure I hadn't received anymore calls, and can confirm the calls have ceased.

Superb workmanship. Very neatly done and done quickly. Worth the time clearing up some mess left after the job was completed. Would definitely use them again in the future.
