Having been in touch multiple times to request the documentation regarding the '10-year (insurance-backed) guarantee' and the FENSA certification I have been almost completely ignored (with the exception of what was seemingly a positive response from Aamir, their Digital Marketing Manager advising 'a resolution without further delay several weeks ago) Well no resolution and hey ... further delay!

Universal Trade Windows did a great job on our barn conversion
Universal Trade Windows did a great job installing windows in our barn conversion and removing a large window and replacing it with to smaller windows and a brick infill .
One team fitted the windows and the other did the brickwork and plastering .
Very pleased with the work and the guys were very good too.

On cleaning glass etc after giving silicon 24hrs to dry i have found a couple of glass panels have minor defects which reported and await reply

Supposed to have someone come today FIRST thing to look at faults in 3 sealed units. 10.45 now and NO SHOW

Fitting of doors
We recently had a porch door and a front door fitted . From the consultation to the fitting. Our experience was excellent. The person who came out to help us decide what doors would be best for us, he took us through it one step at a time , was very knowledgeable about the product. The fitting was arranged at a time to suit us . The workman were very polite , and cleaned and tidied up afterwards. We would likely recommend the company to friends and family.

Had Universal out for a quote, salesman was nice guy and no fault with him at all as he is only following his instructed sales routine, but for a single bathroom window was with us for about 45 minutes before measuring up. Pitched the Company as being cheaper than Nationals such as Anglian but more expensive than a sole trader setup. Fair enough I thought. Quote scribbled on a piece of paper which was 4.6 times higher than Anglian, later brought down to 2.6 times higher once they had gone through sales routine phoning the office and making you think you’re getting a really good discount. In comparison had other quotes completed in around 10 mins (including Anglian over the phone). No quote paperwork left, they want you to commit there and then. Hate to think how many people accept these quotes under pressure.

flat roof replace
We recently had our flat roof replaced by Universal Trade Windows Ltd and are very happy with the service. When the job was first completed, we noticed there was still a small leak. As soon as we let them know, they came out the same day, identified the problem, and fixed it straight away. The team was professional, polite, and clearly take pride in their work.
