Well what can we say - we were leaving France to return to the UK and Universal Removals stepped up to the plate, they kept us informed at all times they arrived as planned, and delivered to our designated storage place as promised, you simply cant ask for anything else
would highly recommend :-)

I moved from London to Paris and they were really great. Very helpful on polite on the phone whenever I had a question. And the movers themselves were fantastic. Came up to the first floor, picked up everything and within 2 days it was in Paris. Got regular text updates about where my stuff was and got an accurate estimated time of arrival. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I asked for a quote of two options (option 1. only sofa, option 2. sofa+bikes+TV) and Nigel Hubert quoted me for two sofas. I called him to explain but it seemed that it was too difficult for him to understand simple things. Moreover, he was rude and did not want to listen, blaming me to have given incorrect dimension, when in fact, he does not understand that the hight of the back part of a sofa is greater than the hight of the front part, that the back of the corner part of a fractional sofa is wider than the front.
Update: I have given out many low score reviews because, unfortunately, there are many people out there that are like you.

Nigel Hubert quoted us a reasonable price and always answered very quick. Pick up in the UK went very smooth and organised. Everything arrived without a scratch in Spain! Very reliable and responsible people there as well. They took very good care of our belongings!

Universal Removals recently moved us to Surrey from the Netherlands. Nothing was too much trouble, and we received friendly, careful from beginning to end. (Zero damage, despite some tricky stairs). Not only the service was punctual, professional, speedy and all the goods arrived on time, in perfect form and shape, but it is the customer service which is really great. Moving the country is not the most stress-free event. All the information was provided well in advance, all the questions, small and big, simple and more complicated were immediately answered in as much of detail as necessary. Universal Removals made what I thought would be a major hassle a walk in the park. Thank you!

This company thoroughly deserves five stars. Ours was a difficult removal from France. Nicholas, who supervised and carried out the removal, showed brilliant organisational skills at every stage: unhurried yet quick, avoiding problems by constantly anticipating them. Some items were very fragile, some heavy and others difficult to handle, but the packing of goods and their arrangement in the vehicle was so carefully handled that nothing was broken, damaged or lost. And it was the same story with unloading. Furniture, etc. was carried unscathed round awkward areas and placed and displayed exactly where we wanted it. Prior to the move, Nigel at head office, was very prompt in answering queries and gave us useful advice on insurance and vehicle space required. The cost was reasonable and competitive. First class removal company, trustworthy and on time!

The company performed exactly as promised. The packing staff were helpful and very pleasant and the goods were delivered on time and without damage. The delivering staff were also very helpful, ensuring that all the items were unpacked and placed where required. Universal made the entire move easy and trouble free.

We had to move from south of France to Sutton Coldfield, UK. We contacted Unversal Removals and and they took care of everything. We did an inventory via video call with them. We scheduled the collection date and the delivery date. Special thanks to Nigel who helped us through this move.

We moved to UK from Toulouse , after all the review we read on the internet about many movers company we were very worried about or things and especially the timing. We went a head with Universal Removals and we were impressed by the service, we get our belonging exactly the date that we request , our contact Nigel was always available to us when ever we had question.
