What the actual. I get paid the same date every month and pay my gas and electric on that date, this is with octopus, who I'm also not very happy with for this. My payment date is less than a week away and I find out that despite being in credit at least once this year I have now been referred to this zinc company for money owed. Perhaps they could have waited the extra few days before messing with my credit report.

They were very kind and understanding with me and made the situation much less stressful.

I spoke with Pauline today from The Zinc group. She was very helpful and shared some info and alternatives that I was not aware off without asking for it. This has helped my situation immensely. Thank you Pauline

I spoke to Zara at Zinc to set up a payment plan. She was really helpful and explained everything to me clearly. I would definitely recommend Zara if you need any help!

A slow and cumbersome company it seems.

Very quick to chase debts for the vulnerable that don't apply, very slow (silent so far) to respond when provided with evidence confirming debt withdrawal by Senior Leadership at Octopus.

Update - instead of recognising the email forwarded to them confirming incorrect debt and requesting the debt be sent back to Octopus they sent the cut and paste email below. Decide for yourself

Arrangements were fairly simple and straightforward

I spoke to Lauren today, she was kind, helpful & understanding. She listened and answered my questions and I feel so much relief a dmp is underway soon via stepchange. Lauren is a joy to speak with, and a credit to your company.

I was very pleased to have had a conversation with Zinc today over the phone , quite understanding towards my situation/circumstances. Patient enough to reexplained everything to me that I didn't understand and provided information to assist me if needed. I forgot the agent's name say but he was professional yet with a personal understanding.

I hesitantly called today on receiving a letter from Zink, I spoke to a wonderful lady named Pauline and was immediately put at ease, Pauline was extremely compassionate and understanding and very helpful. Thank you 😊

It was a plesent call with friendly and helpful staff that excepted a affordable payment plan of my choice that I could afford along with debt advice and offerd to put my account on hold since I had just found out I was 7 and a half months pregnant with a lot of sudden exspences.in futare I wouldn’t avoid them as they really helped me with my outstanding debt

Rupert was wonderful and very reassuring, especially as I was scammed in the past over a phone call so I was scared that the emails were another scam and I had been avoiding taking the call from an unknown message. Very kind man, God bless you!
