Amazing service. Very friendly and gentle vet who was very sensitive to our emotions. We were naturally heartbroken at having to make the agonizing decision to have our beloved Rottweiler, Bertie, put to sleep. The vet was excellent and gave us the time we needed.
This is an excellent company and I would highly recommend them. From the initial call right through we were treated with the utmost sensitivity.

We were faced with the day that every pet owner dreads, the day we knew that we could make a choice for our beloved dog Eva, to save her any further suffering or pain. After a difficult night we made the most heartbreaking but right decision.

Thank you to Dr Theo B, we are incredibly thankful to you for providing Eva with the peaceful, respectful passing she deserved. We were able to save her from any further stress or anxiety thanks to you and this provides us with much comfort.

I wanted to write this review because the night before we had to say goodbye I was desperately searching for a way to say goodbye at home. I was anxious at making the right decision and I’m so thankful that I came across The kindest Goodbye. I would highly recommend to anyone facing this heartbreaking decision.

Dr Theo was incredibly kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and reassured us throughout. He explained everything to us, gave us all the time we needed and checked everything with us. We don’t have the words to fully explain what this meant to us.

We are truly thankful for everything.

The most difficult of days in my life and the (retired - so it didn’t feel like he had a 5 minute slot and then had to get back to the clinic) vet came round. Was too upset to remember his name. He gave us all the time. Asked if we wanted anymore time to say goodbye. Explained he would sedate Ollie, if we could give him a treat he wouldn’t feel a thing. We have him a choux bun. He didn’t feel the sedation. He got very sleepy, laid down. We put a pillow under his head. Stroked him, kissed him and told him we loved him and would miss him. He waited 10 mins until he was fully sedated then administered the euthanasia. Ollie knew nothing about what was happening. It was the most beautiful death and the saddest day of my life in the same day.
He took him away and we got his ashes a week later.
So much nicer than a vet. It doesn’t make it easy, but it’s the nicest way to say goodbye.

We had Roman come round and put down our beloved Shih Tzu Teddie. In this very sad time Roman gave us all the time we needed and was very patient and did not rush us in any way. Roman was very empathetic and was very kind to us all. Giving Ted his last moments with his loved ones . We are very grateful for the kindness and patience Roman provided.

From my initial emotional phone call to our dogs gentle passing, my husband and I were so grateful for the kindness and compassion showed by the lady I booked the service with on the phone and Theo the vet who came to our house.
We used this at home service as our beautiful gentle golden retriever Juno was so scared of visiting the vets throughout her life. Having lived with cancer for the last 10 months of her life, we didn’t want her last moments to be full of panic as she’d already suffered enough.
Theo was so kind with the perfect temperament to win her over straight away. She was relaxed with him throughout the process and he gave us as much time as we needed to get her to her final rest. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect end to a perfect dog.

On 19th of September at 03.45 the kindest goodbye came out to put our darling little boy ACE to sleep, we could not get any vet from our area to come out to him Shame on them,our Little ace was over 16 and half years old and we were desperate after ringing everywhere NOT ONE would come out.
These people traveled 3 and half hours to get to us and he was an amazing man so gentle and kind which helped at such a heart breaking time.
We thank you so very very much and would recommend you to anyone that finds themselves in that heartbreaking position.

At one of the most fragile and vulnerable times of my life, along came someone who couldn’t have been better. Roman was calm, clear and very sensitive. He explained what would happen, and he went through both stages very gently. He was empathetic and clearly understood how hard it was. I couldn’t have had anyone better. Sophie was very kind on the phone before, and after, giving all her time and understanding. These are the right people for the hardest time

A great service isn't realy a way to explain having your pets life terminated.
It was one of the most harrowing experiences we've ever witnessed.
To watch my boy taking his last breath , gasping to hang on to life was truly horrible. I was so close to request a reverse of the anaesthetic but, obviously this would have not helped Chase in his desperate fight for life.
I have gratitude for Dr. Theo who performed the procedure. He had a huge amount of compassion and professionalism towards us and our Chase.
Chase died in the hands of of a kind and considerate man.
It doesn't matter how you put it,it is still devastating traumatising and very sad.
We must thank Dr. Theo for his services and his his kind words of comfort.
Chase filled our lives with joy and laughter. Our 6 years together will never be forgotten.
God bless you Chase and, I hope you find many sqissels and bunnies to Chase for eternity.
We will meet again I'm sure.

In our darkest hour you were there for us and to help our darling girl pass peacefully over rainbow bridge.
It was not the ending we had hoped for for Poppy, it came on so suddenly but we knew we had to do what was right for her. She was in distress and deteriorating rapidly, she would not have survived a frantic car journey & if she had, I didn't want her final moments to be on a cold vets table.
From the lady on the phone who called me very quickly to the vet arriving, you were wonderful! So kind, calm & caring, you treated both Poppy & us with so much care & respect. At such a distressing time, I cannot tell you how grateful we were for your excellent conduct. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart

Extremely sympathetic, kind caring and thoughtful people here. I was struggling to cope and deal with the most pressing situation - but choosing the kindest goodbye helped us and our beloved Eva immensely. I could not have asked for a more dignified and respectful service. Thank you so much.

We recently said goodbye to our lovely Alfie, and The Kindest Goodbye were truly exceptional. Every member of staff was gentle and compassionate, and Maria, the vet, was wonderful — calm, caring, and so respectful of Alfie throughout.

Leyland Pet Crematorium were also lovely, treating Alfie with dignity and kindness.

Everyone’s support brought real comfort at such a hard time.

The most gentle & sensitive vet came to our house to put our wonderful dog to sleep. He checked her over & confirmed that we were doing the right thing. Her back legs had completely given up. He gave us plenty of time to say goodbye.It was a painless & peaceful departure surrounded by all the family. She was then gracefully taken away to be cremated & has come back in a beautiful box with a candle, so we can bury her in a happy place so she can rest in peace.

We could not of asked for any thing more from first phone call to taking our pet away the vet was amazing

I cannot express how grateful I am to the team. They made a tough and emotional time for us peaceful and respectful ❤️

What can I say the kindest goodbye made a terrible terrible loss a little easier.
Ovidiu was just fantastic such a lovely guy took away all the stress of going to a surgery to have bramble out to sleep for us and most importantly her.
Service was very prompt and in my opinion very reasonable thank you
