Cloud 9 Vets provide gentle at-home euthanasia for your elderly or terminally ill pet. We are a family owned and managed organisation. Every member of our close-knit team works with dedication and commitment and we treat every call and every visit with respect and compassion. We are faithful to our objective of making home visits personal, un-rushed, peaceful and dignified . We always have the time to talk to you and will always do everything we can to support you and your pet at a time when you need us most. We work to support and help you when you need us, but we are not an emergency vet and we do not have limitless appointment times. But even in an emergency we will do all we can to help you. An emergency tends to be a crisis and our ethos is to plan a calm and respectful goodbye. Our caring team works passionately to help pet families that are facing "end of life situations" for their beloved pet companions. We provide unhurried pet euthanasia services in the secure and loving environment of your own home. We really do understand that it may be difficult to make that first call, so, our Care Coordinators are available for you to speak to, 7 days a week, from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am to 5pm at weekends and when you pick up the phone, we will treat your call with kindness and understanding. All Cloud 9 Vets fees are always explained and agreed in advance of booking an appointment. The Cloud 9 Way, we do our utmost to provide empathy, compassion and respect in everything we do.

I can’t recommend this wonderful…

I can’t recommend this wonderful company cloud nine vets Limited enough.
Our 14-year-old black Labrador had a stroke the night before and I contacted Cloud 9 vets who were recommended by my vets Icknield in Harpenden. They were kind sympathetic everything you wanted on the telephone,
Susie the lovely vet arrived on time and was so kind and compassionate asked about his life was kneeling down at his side, stroking him and talking to him gently the whole time she took her time with him and with all of my family who were all heartbroken and sobbing around her she spent time with him and with us and was absolutely outstanding & thoughtful. I would highly recommend this team of experience vets to anyone.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your dear Labrador. Fourteen years is a long life, but it never feels like enough time when you have to say goodbye to a loyal companion.

It is so moving to hear how Susie and the rest of our team supported you, at such an emotional time. Having a vet who honours a dog's life by asking about his story and showing such care and compassion for your dear Lab and his family is so comforting. It sounds like he passed surrounded by nothing but love and compassion in the environment he knew best.

Black Labs are famous for their devotion, so it’s no wonder the whole family felt that heartbreak so deeply. Knowing he was comfortable and heard his favourite voices at the end is a beautiful final act of love you gave him.

It’s clear that Susie's presence helped turn a devastating event into a peaceful, dignified farewell.

Absolute amazing service

Absolute amazing service, very compassionate, caring, and sympathetic, my old friend of 14yrs had back leg issues, and it was time to pass over the rainbow bridge, the vet explained the whole procedure, absolute lovely lady, god bless her, and thanks for everything, would highly recommend CLOUD9 to anyone who is at the stage were end of life is the only choice xxxxxx

So sad that the time had come for Nico. It is not that long ago that I lost my own German Shepherd and I understand the how difficult that emotional goodbye can be.

We work with passion and intensity, to make that final goodbye slightly more bearable. We do work within an extremely emotional field and compassion fatigue is an area, that we need to be very aware of, but it is so rewarding to help families in need, especially when we read words like yours. It provides all of us with an energy and fulfilment to keep being there 365 days a year.
Please accept my sincere condolences over the loss of Nico and my deepest gratitude that you took the time to write a review.

From start to finish cloud9 made what…

From start to finish cloud9 made what was a very traumatic situation the best it could possibly be.

Our terminally ill dog declined quite quickly over night, I called cloud9 at 7am and an appointment was booked for 11.30 for euthanasia and then 12.30 for the crematorium collection, both times met perfectly.

Kim the vet from Glasgow was very empathetic and explained everything well, she was greeted by my dog as she walked in and quickly made my dog feel at ease by talking to him and gently petting him.

Can’t thank cloud9 and Kim enough, after his long and challenging battle with cancer I take comfort knowing his passing was comfortable and stress free.

Highly recommend cloud9 vets.

Highly recommend Cloud 9, what was the worst day of my life made a little easier

It has taken me a few weeks to write this but I cannot be more grateful and thankful for the service provided. The level of compassion, love and trust is beyond words. From the initial phone call with Jenny I felt at ease. The worst day of my life had come and I dreaded every second but Julia you are truly a wonderful person, you had so much patience and time and you cried with us as we lay our boy to rest, you will remain in my heart forever. I can’t thank you all enough. Highly recommend Cloud 9!

On the 16th February 2026 our vet gave us the devastating news that Macie our darling 13 year old Weshie was terminal,we always said that she would pass over the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge at home and so were given the number for Cloud Nine Vets ,that telephone call a day later was one of the hardest ever ,from that 1st call we spoke to Darlene and she was so professional and sorted everything out at a time when we couldn't even think straight,The vet arrived on time one day later ,his name Andrea and I can't say how much he was so professional, comforting,talked us through what was going to happen.Our darling girl passed peacefully surrounded with love thanks to this man .The man from the Cremation company,for some reason I can't remember his name was amazing when he came to take her away he wrapped her up so she just look sleeping in her bed .Three days later he brought her home in a beautiful casket and her paw prints look as if she's walking on a sandy beach that she loved 🐾🩷

We couldn't lift our very poorly senior labrador to get him help .

After getting zero help from our regular vets we were so upset that our precious labrador Max was going to suffer a painful end. I found cloud 9 on Google and they Instantly took the pressure off and allowed him a dignified goodbye, we are so greatful to them.

Have to highly recommend this company

We wanted to have our dog PTS at home and we heard about Cloud 9 from a neighbour. It was the best thing that we could have done for her, from the initial contact through to receiving her ashes there was nothing but excellent compassion and communication.

The vet who came out, Filipe, was superb with an excellent and compassionate manner which made it a much nicer experience than having to put her in the car and go the the vets.

Same for the guy who came to collect her later, just as planned, again super compassionate.

It's not something that any of us wants to do but if we had to we would certainly use their services again.

Kind, compassionate and gentle

Kim, the vet who visited us, was exactly the sort of person I could have wished for in the difficult circumstances of having to put our dearest, lovely William to sleep.

She explained the process in full, she carried it out with kindness, gentleness and compassion, and she helped us afterwards with practical advice about burying him.

The service is more expensive than using your regular vet (we booked a same day service when it became apparent during the night that our cat was seriously ill), but absolutely worth it for minimising the stress to our beloved pet. Highly, highly recommended.

Cloud 9 have been so compassionate from…

Cloud 9 have been so compassionate from the moment I called Darlene to the day David came to our home and help our precious Coco to cross Rainbow bridge. It is the hardest decision one can ever make to let go of your best friend but know it’s for the best so they can be free and at peace. David was the most understanding gentle Soul who calmly spoke as me and my husband cried together holding our baby girl till she took her last breath. We thank you with all our hearts for your support and kindness. The support service of pet cremated was wonderful too. Situated in the heart of the country side I collect my babies ashes from a wonderful lady called Amy who also showed immense empathy.

Compassionate and understanding

I recently had to say goodbye to our beautiful dog, Wolfie, and Cloud 9 Vets were absolutely wonderful during such a heartbreaking time.
The team were incredibly empathetic, gentle, and respectful, treating Wolfie — and myself — with genuine care and compassion throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain everything clearly and allowed us the space i needed, never once making myself feel rushed.
Losing a pet is devastating, but their kindness and understanding made an unbearable moment more peaceful and dignified than i could have imagined. I will always be grateful for the way they helped Wolfie pass so calmly and for the comfort they gave

Great kindness and professionalism.

The vet Julieta from Cloud Nine who came to put our beautiful Ollie to sleep because he was suffering from cancer, was so caring and gentle, and gave us plenty of time to say goodbye to our wonderful Ollie. We were also so very grateful that Ollie was totally pain free throughout the whole procedure. He drifted gently out of this world.
So many many thanks Julieta, we will always be grateful and remember your great kindness to Ollie and ourselves.

My beloved cat Rosie had a peaceful at home experience when the time came to say goodbye.l can't thank vet Susie enough for the compassionate end to Rosie's life, also many thanks to all at Coud9 who I dealt with during this difficult time.

From the first phone call with Kate through to Wing Ka’s visit a few days later, we cannot fault Cloud 9 Vets. They were so kind as we made the difficult but right decision to help our cat Carmen out of this world. Wing Ka took the time to explain everything and clearly really cares for animals. Carmen’s death was very peaceful and she was surrounded by love. If/when you find yourself in this awful situation, I’d highly recommend Cloud 9 vets.

Poor service in Scotland


Having made the awful decision to let my boy go, we saw this service and the vast majority of great reviews at a sad time and decided to wait from Friday night to Monday to call and arrange their visit.
Their website clearly states from their Falkirk branch where they will travel to, my partner rang and was advised by a young woman that they had never served Callander (FK17) as they were based in Glasgow?? We asked if she could advise of someone who did … and the woman asked if we’d tried Google. My partner gave the advice to change their website detail.
We rang the national number and went straight through to the same woman so gave up. I am not happy at all, we get thousands of chances to say hello but only one to give the best goodbye which is ruined.

I am truly sorry that we have not been able to visit your home in Callander. We have previously been able to travel north of Falkirk but currently we do not have a vet available to do that. We are able to visit Falkirk but at present we are just not able to reach Callander.

We always do our very best to help everyone that calls us, but at times the geography defeats us, despite our hard work and best efforts. As you mentioned, we do receive many warm, heartfelt reviews regarding our visits and it is so dispiriting for me when a one star review comes our way, especially when it is down to coverage rather than the compassionate care we strive to provide. But occasionally we’re stretched and cannot be in every place at once. I am genuinely sorry that we couldn’t get a vet to Callander for you, and I understand how disappointing that must be. I can assure you, that we would have helped, if it had been at all possible to get a vet to your home.

We always aim to be, as available, as much as we possibly can, sometimes we cannot be in as many places as we would like to be. It is upsetting to receive a negative review and I apologise that we did not have a vet that could get to Callander. After reviewing your call, I can confirm that we did ask our vets who are based nearer to Glasgow and Edinburgh, but the journey time was simply too long. We genuinely wanted to help and we explored all available avenues. I take every review personally and it is most disheartening to be given a poor review, I take on board the criticism you have given me, we do all we can to help and I am saddened that we could not get a vet to you, my apologies.

I had a 15 year old labrador who went down hill quickly. I called cloud 9 vets and arranged everything. They were all really friendly and compassionate and I am really glad of having the choice to put him to sleep at home. We didn't feel rushed and it was very peaceful for him
