Very dissappointed in the provided…
Very dissappointed in the provided service. The key account management/customer service didn't support at all with a stolen bicycle charge which could have gone onto my company's monthyl invoice as it has been done twice by Swapfiets already. However, my contact person wanted to support but it seems like I was just ghosted when asking for updates. Now I'm chased by a debt collector even after making the payment for the stolen bicyle.

The Swapfiets staff is friendly, knowledge, patient and helpful
David was super friendly and helpful. I felt like he took time and attention to set me up with my Power 1 as a first-time Swapfiets member and to explain the ins-and-outs of best practices for my bike. Overall, the four different staff members I encountered during my test ride and on my pick-up day at the Valkenbergerstraat location were all super-cool, friendly, patient and answered all of my questions with sound advice. Whoever is recruiting for Swapfiets is doing a great job! The vibe is very friendly and hip and heel positief. It definitely helped sell me on the experience and sold me on renting a Swapfiets.

Hallo allemaal. Ik ben op zich tevreden over Swapfiets, maar ik heb twee opmerkingen over de fiets die ik heb ontvangen: na drie dagen fietsen begon de motor een vreemd geluid te maken, en de accuduur is niet voldoende om langer dan drie uur in de stad rond te rijden – en aangezien we abonnementsgeld betalen, vind ik dat dit wel wat beter zou mogen zijn.

Eerste fiets niet goed
De eerste fiets die ik mee kreeg was niet goed. Direct nadat ik opgestapt en weg gefietst was viel mij op dat die heel zwaar trapte. Ik heb 'm direct terug gebracht en om een andere fiets gevraagd. Ik werd niet direct geloofd, maar nadat ze de fiets zelf getest hadden waren ze het met mij eens en kreeg ik een andere fiets mee

I subscribed to their e-bike service and paid €100 (€30 fees + €70 for the bike). I exercised my legal right of withdrawal within 14 days, and their team confirmed my cancellation in writing. I returned the bike within that same window.
I was never refunded. Weeks later, with my cancellation still confirmed, they charged me an extra €30 with no explanation.
Since then, every message I've sent asking for an explanation and my refund has been ignored — no reply, no follow-up, nothing.
Charging a cancelled account without justification and refusing to respond isn't a delay, it's a refusal to engage.

I had added notes in my appointment so that they can keep things ready but it was at the appointment when they read the note for the FIRST TIME.
I was given an appointment to put basket. When I went to the store they said, it is not available.
Next time when I booked an appointment, I asked to make sure it will be available and the agent told me "I know how to do my job".

Absolute nightmare service — broken bikes and cancelled appointments!
Worst customer experience ever.
I swapped my bike for a Deluxe 7 at the Leiden store, and the chain snapped immediately on the next day ride home.
I have been stranded without a working bike for a whole week in Voorschoten.
After a massive headache with their support team, we manually scheduled an appointment for today.
I waited all week, only for Swapfiets to cancel the appointment at the very last minute during my scheduled slot!
To make it worse, their customer service bot keeps glitching, and agents try to trick you into a new 3-month contract instead of fixing their mistakes.
They provide faulty equipment, fail to show up, and refuse to take responsibility.
Avoid this company at all costs!
