DO NOT USE. Absolutely awful service, owners that shout at you. First of all if you are going to get a quote get them to do it in person, otherwise they make you do a video quote, they then under quote you to only charge you once your items are in storage.
They then broke my TV, Pavements and expensive chair and did not pay anything back even though they are supposed to carry insurance. They based this on an unhappy exchange and said we had to itemise our items even though they never instructed us to this. They lied, intimated that we had made stories up and all in all were horrible.
The moving men they used were great and really nice.

Swans Removals damaged my television when packing it and then claimed they hadn’t dismantled the TV and used small print to avoid covering the cost of replacing my television. I took them to court and lost as it was their word against mine and the burden of proof was on me. I strongly recommend to not use them as they are dishonest and incompetent. Swans Removals damaged my TV and got away with it - don’t make the same mistake I did. If you do you use them - film / photograph everything they do so you can use it when you need to.

Used for storage for all downstairs furniture from March to July 2023. Experience of collection was very good- no problems with removal of furniture and everything went fine. Storage itself seemed OK although I was wrongly invoiced 4 times by accounts depth, including being asked to pay invoices that had already been settled. The problem was with the return of the furniture... a different team unloading. This time, the newly decorated downstairs ended up with chipped paintwork on banisters and doorframes...one edge to the doorframe was dislodged. The newly plastered and painted wall in the hall was badly scuffed and all 3 pieces of leather 3 piece suite were scuffed badly on corners. Yes, it was a tight fit, but the team who took it out managed with no damage. It was clear that the team bringing back items were not as experienced as i expected them to be. I was also given back 6 pictures that did not belong to me, but thankfully noticed before the team left, so they took them back. Very disappointed with this from a local company with a good reputation. My advice is to avoid them. I will certainly never use them again.

I used Swans Removals for my last move and i can say with complete confidence that the company provide an excellent service. The office correspondents are very polite, patient and helpful. The team that turned up on the day were extremely professional and rapid. They knew what they were doing. I would like to recommend Swans removals for anyone wanting to move not because they have my complete trust, but because i want someone else to experience the stress free and hassle free moving process that i had, because i know it can be a very stressful period.

I’ve recently used Swans Removals for my move. I would just like to say they have done an outstanding job, being quick and efficient throughout the whole process. On top of that, the people doing the move were so polite and well mannered which just made the whole process even more pleasant. Their expertise is clearly evident in the work they carried out. The move went well, and all done properly, however they promised me to deliver the Piano from first floor to first floor, but when they arrived at the destination, they could not lift it to the first floor. They left it on ground floor.
I asked for compensation because Swan in writing had approved that they will take the piano from first floor to first floor, but they refused and gave me several different excuses to not pay back.
Now I found another company that will take the piano to first floor and they are charging me GBP 350 + VAT for the job.
Swan cloud at least pay half this amount back to show good faith, but they did not even respond to my last email about compensation!

Choose this firm! an excellent service from start to finish.
Swans were invariably courteous and helpful on the phone, even though we had to change our moving date several times. The team who helped us was charming, efficient and always polite even at the end of a tiring day. In the new place, they took care to move my elderly mum's chair in first, and to keep a passageway for her to walk around. And they even made our beds up for us. Highly recommended.

I intially used swan when we sold our house. They were able to fit me in last minute. The lay out of our property was unique ans Swan managed the removal of our items with due care and attention. I then used them when we bought our next property and they were flexible in collecting from multiple locations and delivering to a rural location outside of London. The team were extremely professional and I would always recommend Swan.

this in my first ever online review, i am so incensed by my recent experience with this company I am compelled to wrote something.

Firstly, they did not do the assessment of how much needed to be moved in advance properly, in spite of various concerns raised, as a result not enough vans came. not a major issue, but a bad start and put a lot of pressure on the rest of the move.

upon moving there were multiple damaged items, very dirty vans cause ingrained dirt in to furniture, fabrics, ripped bed sheets and toppers, deep scratches to treadmills, scratched floors in the new home and multiple other damaged items.

And the worst of it the centre manager 'Ana' was absolutely unwilling to accept that they 'best crew' (apparently we had their best team!) could not be the cause of these issues. it was quite clear she is unwilling to investigate any issues with an open mind. If you go with these guys, expect damage and dirt, poor assessment on quantities and a pathalogical unwillingness to accept any blame.

they will reply saying there were builders on site and that everything was their fault, but this is rubbish as i inspected everything (the damaged items) immediately. its so clear cut.

Moved a 4 bed house in SW London to a house in Somerset.

Tina took care of my order over the phone and was attentive and helpful throughout.

Did a video call around my home to estimate the scale of the removal and that proved to be pretty spot on.

I did ask for the number of boxes included to be increased which of course increased the cost.
In the end more boxes were required at £5 each, so it's worth being prepared for that.

On the day the guys doing the removals were spot on.
Arrived on time and other than a couple of deserved tea breaks they did not stop, for both the pack up and the unpack at the other end.

Really good experience with Swans and recommend them.

They packed and moved our stuff across London very efficiently.
The guys were super friendly and careful around precious items like pictures and glass. They were also careful around furniture and mattresses so they didn't get damaged or dirty.

I had a great experience with them, while moving from a 3bd house to a second floor 3bedroom apartment. Aron and Nicki, are absolutely great guys, they showed up in time, they were very nice and polite, carefully loading the van. I had to move a lot of stuff, but everything went really well, they did their best to finish within the allocated time, and not charge additional.
I will definitely use their services again.
