I slipped over and snapped my ankle in 3 places 6 days before our holiday 13th nov 22.After my operation i emailed starttravel to start a claim for our holiday..my partner claimed his half of the holiday on his insurance and was paid within 7 DAYS. Tried several times to contact starttravel by phone,my god a nitemare, regular waiting times of over 30 minutes!!! They have all the paperwork needed to settle my claim ,some sent twice as noone knows what the others doing and seem to be dragging there heels for whatever the reason, ive been struggling financially as im off work on sick pay and really needed my claim settling.Very poor customer service and would never use or recommend this company. Going to lodge a complaint with insurance ombudsman !!

Disgusting customer service
Still no further forward with claim, Manager to call back, no call received, again misinformed about forms etc, time to consult solicitor to see if my son can get his claim paid out....steer clear of these cowboys

A very good price for annual travel…
A very good price for annual travel insurance after searching for weeks to find a decent price .
You never know how good any insurance policy is till you claim even if you pay a lot more than I did but I’m sure this policy will be ok .

Would never recommend this insurance…
Would never recommend this insurance company for travel insurance, nothing was mentioned about an excess when purchasing the insurance policy!
My son had an accident on holiday payed upfront what needed to be payed then claimed when we got home took 6 weeks for the claim to be refunded £16.97 and told us we had an excess of £150 to pay absolutely disgusting!!! I thought the point in insurance for a holiday if anything happens you get refunded what you payed??? So by the sounds of things they decide what sort of excess they take depending on the amount you’re claiming for. AVOID THIS INSURANCE COMPANY
