Placed an order 4 weeks ago have heard nothing and phone lines cut you off not sure how this company is still being able to run or allow orders to be placed 🤔 😡🤬

SCAM SITE. PLEASE DO NOT USE. My mum paid for an bed, but company is not contactable via phone or e-mail. E-mails not responded to and phone goes dead after initially ringing. Requesting money back via bank.

So i ordered a marble dining table and 4 chairs 2 weeks ago. They were the best value on the market I could find. Today they arrived. I was contacted on Monday to see if I could take delivery Friday. They also rang me on Thursday to give me a specific time for Friday and sent me tracking information. The couriers were polite and carried it all into my house.

I am really pleased with the quality, and will definitely be ordering again.

I cannot comment about other reviews, but I was anxious after reading the negative comments on here. But each to their own , I had no problem. I also live some distance from the shop in West Wales. The firm delivered on time and I am extremely happy. I will use them again. As they say in wales "Diolch yn fawr".

So I ordered a table a month before my mums 80th birthday so had plenty time they kept coming up with excuses i tried phoning them was put on hold then cut off time and time again emails ignored finally i told them i was taking it further they said couldn’t deliver to Aberdeenshire BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY want your money but don’t deliver can’t get hold of them bunch of cons

So I ordered a fire a few weeks back. Yes the delivery time wasn’t certain and was hard getting in touch with them but they did get in touch and I waited. Today my fire turned up and it was worth the 4 weeks wait or so. I was very hesitant as after I ordered I read the reviews on here and panicked. The fire is beautiful though. They do need to keep it contact with the customers more and make delivery more specific. Other than that I’m happy with my product 😃

0 stars. Ordered on the 23rd of July after being told they had chairs in stock and will be delivered very quickly. After ordering I chased up the delivery a couple of times on the online chat to be told the same. On the 10th of August, they told me it would be delivered by Thursday but didn’t receive an email which I was meant to do 2 days before delivery. After checking trust-pilot I requested to cancel my order and get a refund since it hadn’t been dispatched yet. They said they would speak to their manager and then never got back to me. Every time I message on the chat service I do not get a reply anymore. I never received the chairs and I have put a claim through my credit card company.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Credit cards are now processing a claim with sleepmaker as still no contact

Shocking. I'd like to say shocking service, but there was no service. Orders on 25th August. Confirmed by email by them.

Then...nothing. live chat tells us to email....no response.
Live chat say email again, someone will look at it.....nothing.

Then a refund with no communication at all and ... apparently "at my request".

AVOID!

Avoid!!! Made an order back in July they continuously lied about delivery date. 5 weeks later I still haven’t received my item and are no longer replying to my messages. Terrible customer service! 100% a scam!

They are a scam. I brought a £205 coffee table, which they claimed had arrived when it never did. I’ve been trying to contact them but all the come up with is that my tracking number is invalid. This website is a real scam.

It seems this company is a scam! I placed an order and didn’t hear a thing. You can’t call them as their phone line cuts off after you hear the initial automated message. They don’t reply to emails so you have no way of contacting them! After placing my order and not hearing anything I discovered negative reviews of several others in the same boat.
I am currently in the process of trying to do a charge back with my bank!

I never leave negative reviews but this isn’t just poor service this is a company scamming people out of money as it’s clear they have no intention of supplying the goods.

I have also reported them to trading standards.

Trust me no fake review. Honest review with proof if needed. Placed order 26 July, still not received £250 coffee table. No reply to email. Phone number cuts of after machine message. Raised dispute with bank now. Reported to trading standards as well.

Absolutely awful company. Take the payment as soon as order made then no updates issued and do not respond to phone, email or live chat. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Same experience as all the negative reviews, placed an order and then got replies from the company with delaying tactics claiming item would be delivered on Tuesday, then Wednesday then the following week. Nothing ever arrived, I think this company is clearly struggling at the moment and the main question is why do they keep taking orders when they can't deliver anymore. I cancelled my order as clearly nothing was ever going to arrive.

Update 31/08 I have now purchased the Julian Bowen table and chairs from Robert Dyas. So this is not the fault of the manufacturer. Julian Bowen have contacted me to deliver it Monday. I don’t believe sleepmaker are even an approved distributor of the item. Credit card are now processing claim with sleepmaker as still no contact

Before ordering, I checked that the item was in stock as I needed it fairly urgently. I paid for the order and now 5 weeks later, I have had 3 email telling me they will deliver within the nest week, or couple of weeks. They are all lies!! Many customers are having the same problems. They delete comments which you post on their social media adverts. Lie after lie from them. I am now requesting a full refund, but doubt very much I will receive it. Obviously, this will be taken further. Totally unacceptable that they can continue to do this.

Have not been able to deliver Goods (Marlborough Wardrobe 3 Doors, cost £661)
Full of reasons will try to delay & fool you by sending out emails etc. Our phone gets cut off after the initial recorded message plays. Online chat has no reply. They undercut other genuine online retailers & gave us generous discount online. Do not fall for this.

If I could leave ‘0’ stars, I would. This company took my order with the suggestion that stock was available, didn’t deliver, made excuses as to why, breached GDPR rules and gave my email address to strangers (other customers, by incorrect use of the ‘cc’ facility whilst emailing), then ignored my request for a refund.
After opening a dispute via my bank, i did get my refund. I would never buy from them again. I was also hoping to buy a new mattress but I will take my business elsewhere now.
I’m beginning to think the manufacturer of the products I ordered, Julian Bowen, should take some responsibility for product availability and should definitely be more selective/careful about who they allow to retail their products, because this is the second similar problem I have had this year, trying to purchase their products. Although the first issue was with a different company, the sequence of events from ordering to getting my bank involved to get my refund, was virtually identical. I have reported the matter to Julian Bowen but did not receive a satisfactory response, so I’m taking my trade elsewhere, away from Sleep Maker and away from Julian Bowen!

This company has not communicated back on when my products will be delivered. I believe them to be a scam company. They breached GDPR buy emailing all customers on the same email thread so we could see each other's information and it turns out that nobody has yet to have their products and are all going through their banks for a refund because they cannot cancel either. Trust Pilot also just flagged ot me that apparently reviews have been bought and sold by this company so if you see any good reviews I would be cautious on how they got them as I have had a terrible service and will be claiming back through my credit card (thankfully) - no email replies, no live chat replies and apparently the phone line is now dead when other customers try to call. Such a shame that people do this to consumers.

Been 6 weeks no contact unless made by myself still no delivery ETA. Not sure if they are a struggling company or if its a scam. Would avoid. Disappointing

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMS
Order a coffee table weeks ago and it never arrived after placing the order I waited for the product shipping email but it never arrived. I tried to contact the seller but no one answers the phone or emails or in any other way. Wretched thieves, be ashamed to steal the money of honest people.
