Australian Sleepmaker. Do not buy or deal with sleepmaker .I have never dealt with a company so dismissive and evasive when it comes to honouring a warranty. I purchased the SleepMaker Pure Balance Recapture – Plush mattresses in September 2024, which were orthopedic recommended, yet both sagged badly within months, causing ongoing back discomfort.

Despite paying extra to have the mattresses rectified, the repairs failed, and one mattress now sits noticeably lower than the other. This is the second failure within a year, and trying to get a refund has been a complete nightmare.

I have been passed back and forth between SleepMaker and the warranty team, with no accountability or meaningful solution. Their customer service is defensive, unhelpful, and completely out of touch with how a reputable brand should treat its customers.

If you value your comfort, your back, and your sanity, do not buy SleepMaker mattresses. The product failed well before its expected lifespan, and the process to get a remedy is exhausting and frustrating. I am now filing wiht the NSW Fair Trading.

It took a QCAT filing and countless follow-ups just to get basic acknowledgement of their obligations under Australian Consumer Law. Their customer service is unhelpful, defensive, and completely out of touch with how a reputable brand should treat its customers.
If you value your sanity, buy anything other than SleepMaker. The product failed well before its expected lifespan, and the process to get a remedy was an absolute nightmare.

SleepMaker mattressI have had a sleepMaker mattress for 3 year's it’s already sagging in the middle it has a 10 year warranty. You should know that sleepMaker will ask you to do a rediculous test which involves you taking something straight such as a broomstick and placing it across your mattress. If the mattress is sagging up to 3.5 cms that is classified as ‘normal’ body imprinting by the manufacture!!! If you have a problem you will have to pay $150 for them to collect it from your house.
I have asked SleepMaker what type of tests that they will do on my mattress and they have not told me exactly because I said if it includes the use of a broomstick it’s absolutely stupid testing.
I asked them to come to my house and measure the sagging with me in it as so my mattress doesn’t have to be taken and I have to sleep on a loan mattress that god knows how many people have slept on. I have booked the mattress to be picked up and I will edit this once I have more news.

ordered a double bed and mattress, a child's mid sleeper bed and mattress, a wardrobe and a chest of draws.First of all on the day of the delivery I was missing the child's mattress, company are hard to get hold of and where fairly abrupt when I made them aware of the missing items, we had to wait near on 2 weeks for the delivery of the mattress.
when we went to put the children's bed up there were screws and bits missing. Had to wait another week for bits to be sent out, no apology and in no rush to get these bits out to me.
Lastly after messaging them to and from as my calls where ignored they then proceeded to block me so I had to go through the finance company.
A year later we noticed a serve infestation of bed bugs I have never experienced anything like it I contacted pest control who came out and after inspection noticed that the beds and mattresses had the infestation and he was confident that's where they had come from.
Black marks all over wood and blood stains.
I had bites all over my arms and legs was so painful and itchy and honestly has made me a nervous wreck
Still dealing with the outcome now and I have had to replace beds, mattresses, furniture and sofas. Money I don't have.

Please avoid this company!

We ordered over £2000 over furniture from this company and they have failed to communicate with us or deliver the goods. It’s been 5 months and we have heard nothing!
The company should be avoided at all costs. Based on all the terrible reviews (which I must admit I did not look at before ordering and I now realised that I should have!!) This company should be formally investigated and closed down

Really poor customer journey- made an order months ago and still not received it. Over £200 wasted so far. We would like a refund.

This "company" do not even deserve 1 star - they don't exist! Unable to contact by email, phone or chat! Placed an order and .......nothing.....at.....all!

Basically this company will steal your money and won't deliver your items. I ordered sofa's in August and they never arrived. Thankfully, I made my payment by credit card, I was able to prove my story and the credit card company quickly refunded me.

First of all, one star is too much for this so called company. Absolute scammers. In their website, they have provided their address, so someone would think this a legitimate place. But this place no longer exists, the only thing they do is to take your money and not hearing anything at all. There are also no way to contact them, not answering emails and phone calls.
Only use this website, if you want to give your money to unknown people and do not want to receive your order.

This company is a bogus sham operation that looks authentic but Is not. They have what appears to be a legitimate web site and business set up but if you send them any money you’ll not see anything for it.
Buyer beware this is a fake theft organization.

Placed an order 2nd September have sent numerous emails they have not replied, tried ringing they don't answer. The live chat doesn't work have now contacted my bank to try and get my money back AVOID AT ALL COST

Ordered and paid for a double bed frame late August. It has still not arrived and reading the other reviews it doesn't look like it ever will. No replies to emails, the phone line answers automatically and then goes to a continuous tone. The live web chat doesn't work. What a shame. Either this is a company of scammers or it has gone bust and they've not had the decency to let any of us know. Avoid at all costs!!

I bought a gold and black dinning table. It was delivered after ages, of saying we will deliver tomorrow, it was delivered with the wrong colour feet (silver feet and silver base with gold and black chairs) and table base. I am still trying to reach sleepmaker.co.uk to have the order corrected.

I am so frustrated and angry as I cannot understand how this "company" is still trading. I ordered an office chair in August and have had the exact same experience as everyone else here. Emails are ignored, phone line cuts off so there is no way to establish contact. Whoever runs this company is a criminal as they are stealing from people plain and simple.

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH SLEEPMAKER!
I placed an order with Sleep Maker mid August and have never received the item ordered.
I have tried to contact them but they do not respond.
I am trying to obtain a refund as it is now mid October but they haven’t processed this yet. I will be raising this as a concern through my bank for assistance.
If I can obtain details of the appropriate ombudsman I will also pursue this legally as a breach of contract under the Sales of Goods Act, if I am able to.
However, if I receive a refund and an apology I will post a further review to reflect this.

The one star is for the delivery company who were half decent. I really wish I had read the reviews first.
Made the purchase in May this year and it is now October and we have still not had the complete delivery of the goods purchased. Huge delays in delivery, multiple excuses, products turned up with wrong parts, the list goes on………
Avoid like the plague.

I ordered a 2 piece sofa paid for same in Aug 22. Apart from receiving an acknowledgement of my order, i have tried various times to contact them via email/phone and their chat line. Took my money and no sofas arrived. DONT deal with this company or you will be giving away your money.

Ordered a bed and never arrived. Company would not reply to e-mails or phone calls. Having to go through credit card to get reimbursed.

4 weeks NO correspondence.
No way to contact them. There phones always hangs up when you ring them...NO email possible as doesn't send. Took nearly £900 from me...😡😡😡

Ordered dining table was never coming no communication always excuses got in touch with bank got a refund then they phoned me to see if I still wanted the dining table they could deliver it the next day they asked me to pay with my card i said no will only pay cash on delivery which I did and now they have taken money back out of bank total scammers avoid this company away to take civil action against them
