My Cabin car mk2 is four years old the first year it was great not a problem, then the second year the problems started the electrics (remote central locking) stopped working, a rear light cluster fell in side the body and the the dashboard packed up, the next two years it was one thing after another the scooter was cutting out every few hundred yards the it stopped working altogether and would not even charge then the remote locking packed up again and the doors started letting in rain and the usb ports packed in now the reversing camera has stopped working, these scooters look great but not so great after a few years it was so bad my supplier cancelled my £40 monthly warranty (mobility connect) in Morecambe,
the heater in this scooter is not fit for purpose it does not give enough heat and takes ages to make any difference, However I love my scooter and I use it most days as all the problems were sorted, running great now

I purchased My Cabin Car approximately 2 Years ago from Scooterpac when hey were moving to a new premises / Factory. I've coved 630 miles since then, so I thought I really should get it serviced, as Some things have fallen off and others just stopped working.
On looking at the list of dealers that you can search on Scooterpacs website, The dealers nearest to me seem to want to sell the Cabin car but when contacted, say they don't service them.
So anyone who is interested in buying a cabin Car should check out if the dealer is going to look after it for you.
Unless as I purchased my Cabin Car from the factory
the dealers just don't want to known as they didn't sell it. One dealer was hinting at me to get the model number and check that the part was in stock before they serviced it.
Scooterpac, you should vet you dealership list before you put them on your search, as, so far I am contacting dealerships a lot further away from my area at the moment.

Screen washer does not work
Reversing camera screen and rear-view mirror fallen off front windscreen
Front wheel tracking needs to be checked.
Back Luggage box has fallen off three times just by going over pot holes in the road. Fixed back on by me, hopefully will stay on this time
The indicators are not bright enough to be seen on a sunny day.
Could do with small repeaters indicators on the front side as main indicators cannot be seen by a vehicle beside you.
Central Locking is intermittent, believe cable on hinge side inside rubber tubing is either broken or a loose connection.
Believe the rear parking sensors are not working

After the reply from ScooterPac to my review I contacted ScooterPac Customer care on the number provided.
Josh was very helpful in contacting a Cabin Car dealership that would carry out the service and repairs that was needed. Also a big shout out to 1st Step Mobility in North Cheam Surrey for taking on the work for me.

Excellent product, have had two issues, one where the indicators were reversed, check they are working properly before using first time. Replaced immediately while I waited by East Coast Mobility that I bought my Invader from.
Second issue was losing power, Invader was collected promptly and issue was finally sorted when they discovered a crack in the wire to the battery which would occasionally jump off causing power loss. It’s been perfect ever since.
Direct communication with Scooterpac has also been extremely good and they have provided me with the information I required quickly.

The problem's I had are now sorted, which is great news, they have also promised that if the problem happens again they will sort it out.

Absolutely fabulous, amazing, exactly what is expected. An 18 km trip on the 8km per hour setting, with an occasional boost to 15 km per hour on steep climbs and there was plenty of charge left when I arrived home. It glided comfortably over rough terrain and flew easily up long steep inclines.
Perfect.

DO NOT BUY THE INVADER . No good for elderly or someone with a disability like myself because my INVADER has broken down so many times I've lost count of times people had to push me home it's embarrassing. The customer service is slow an not very helpful at all . £889 to replace a front tyre absolute rip off

My experience with Scooterpac was excellent. Not only did I get helping finding where the product is sold, but also for ongoing maintenance and repairs. It didn’t seem any trouble when ringing with the odd question. I’m very thankful for help and support.

I’ve been trying to buy a scooterpac canopy to fit my scooter for about 6 months but they where all sold out I contacted scooterpac and they where brilliant emailing me and then keeping one for me when they arrived in they were brilliant and the canopy is great highly reccomend them

I’ve had my Invader for about 6 weeks now. Scooterpac have been excellent so far, I needed narrower rear mudguards and a couple of tweaks made to the motor controllers, both taken care of swiftly.
The Invader is an impressive scooter, both off road and on, it’s head turning, sturdy, inspires confidence and is loads of fun.

I have had contact with scooterpac about all my issues it seems that things got a little mixed up or a miss understanding due to having to contact them though my dealership rather than contacting scooterpac directly.
Anyway scooterpac have assured me that the problem with the real axle is being dealt with even though I'm outside my warranty period because the issues happened while it was still under warranty so a big thank you to Josh at scooterpac for putting my mind at rest.
Furthermore scooterpac have agreed to give assistance
With obtaining a new insurance company ( the one recommended by scooterpac) should I need it.
I will just say if anyone buys the Invader through a dealership you will probably better off cutting out the middle man afterwards as the dealership will not have full knowledge of what insurance you can get for the vehicle or have full knowledge on the vehicle itself as the dealership is more like a show room to place your orders from and then the vehicle is supplied by scooterpac and delivered probably by an engineer who works on behalf of scooterpac.
Scooterpac have apologised for how long this has taken to sort the issues out.
Apparently there are only a handful of Invaders that have suffered the same problem has mine and they are working to get to the bottom of it but it takes time as the manufacturer of the invader who are Daymak are based in Canada . I've checked their website out, and they have some cool looking stuff over there.
The Invader is known as the Boomer Beast 2D AWD and started life off as a two wheeled electric bike which they then adapted into a 3 wheeled mobility trike.
When launched in the uk the name was changed to Invader. Can you see why lol. Its certainly a striking impressive Beast when you come across a fully working one.
All I can say is when you 1st get this monster of a machine if your going to get any problems with it, it will happen after the 1st 3 weeks but scooterpac will get it sorted one way or another they just need time.
One other warning because the Invader is such an impressive bit of kit you need to understand that your going to need deep pockets later after the warranty has run out, just because it wasn't cheap to start with

Absolutely appalled by the aftercare from Scooterpac.
Initially I was thrilled with my Invader, it enables me to run my dogs across the fields and have the sort of freedom I used to have. Scooterpac even requested if I'd send them some of my videos of me out with my boys.
However, it has several problems and it seems Scooterpac just don't care once they've made the sale!!
The trip meter has never worked since day one, they keep saying there is an upgrade but never come up with the goods.
On the first service, I was told the rear axel needed replacing, apparently this is a common fault, but Scooterpac didn't want to pay for this under warranty. At it's last service I was told it had the same problem and I will need to replace it again. If this is a known fault, then surely Scooterpac should replace FOC.
I have had to have the breaks replaced twice now, they last no time and parts are a ridiculous price!!
The steering also seized up and I had to have all the bearings replaced.
Come on Scooterpac, when are you going to do the right thing and replace the parts that have a known issue?
I have been waiting over 2 years now for the trip meter to work... this is quite important to me so can monitor how far my dogs are running.
I also need the axel issue sorted out, I simply can't afford to replace it again and it should be replaced by you as it's a known fault.
These scooters are a huge investment.

Ok. ... first off.....very, very impressive. Had it not been raining here I'd have probably missed it entirely. Basically, y'all got your I's dotted and your T's crossed except for the sustainable and lasting waterproof under coating of all electrical components...with some sort of battery lever (similar to most cars steering wheel positioning lever) that adjusts 'up' the battery for donning the plastic water proof case. Only other thing would be the wheels......concerned about how much little pieces of road debris accumulates causing disastrous wheel ensemble collapse.
Please remember this fact.....I love the overall quality you've put into your line of scooters....excellent product...but really way too expensive for those folks on a disability type budget. If sales are low perhaps China will handle it for you! No disrespect intended....just saying! God Bless Us All ...Peace and No Wars.....The Battles were won a long time ago!

to be honest the company should listen to their customers more often . in my case the bumper issue was obvious because of lack of thought by the tech guys who did,nt see that their was a speed bump issue going to arise ? . the product is a great one & everywhere i go people want to ask about it & take pictures wherever i am . i do have some idea,s on making it better like having a bespoke cover for it to protect it against snow & frost . i do have others in my bag but not for now .

My review of scooterpac
I purchased my invader mobility scooter mid January of this year 2023 there where a couple of teething issues at the start but scooterpac where very quick and understanding and solved the issues straight away with no hesitation and since then I firstly rolled it over and damaged a couple of things I got a quotation for the repairs and gave the go ahead and the repairs where done quick and efficiently plus a couple of other issues where sorted and it turned out that even with the extra repairs it actually cost less than first queted and most recently I have had an electrical fault and within three days of calling them I already have a date for them to come to my home and fix the problem so out off 5 i give you 10 stars thank you for a great scooter it has changed my life being a double below knee amputee I look forward to future purchases

My invader scooter is brilliant for me I’ve got loads of trails next to me. My problem is when I try to register it with the dvla they said because it would go at 16mph they wouldn’t register it for the road. I’ve noted people have an answer from scooterpack but not answered my question.
I have wanted a Scooterpac Invader for some time, I could never afford one and the secondhand market didn't exist. I found one in Llandudno
Which is 40 miles from me so went to seeing. 12 months old, only done less than 100 miles so I got it.
I have FSHD a form of muscular dystrophy which affects my walking i am 6ft 4 and 18 st so need a big scooter.
I have had numerous mobility scooters over the years and this Invader is the best one I have ever had and I will be keeping this beast of a scooter and don't see myself ever changing it.
On or off road this scooter is fantastic.
