In terms of questions I have a minor observation that while eliminating answers we can easily eliminate 2, but the other 2 responses were very close to each other which it was very confusing and consuming time otherwise the certification is very valuable and worth it, I love what are you doing.

The preparations and reminders were well organized and helpful. But the test questions seemed more about portfolio management than project management, and not at all what I had studied for.

PMI Study Hall was instrumental in my success on the PMP exam. The application process was smooth. I received my exam results in a timely manner.

The convenience of taking the test at home is great; you don’t have to worry about travel. I think it’s a great option.

The critic is that the questions are quite long, and hence, the person taking the test spends 70% to 80% of their time reading the question, prior to even evaluating the answer.

Aside from that, great exam, great resources available, great community!

The exam is random, and ridiculous. I spent more time reading the question and trying to decipher hidden words and meaning then testing my actual project management experience

Great Experience, Truly appreciate and advocate

I passed the exam on the first attempt. I studied with the PMI Study Hall, which prepared me fairly well for the exam questions.

I am a retired senior officer in the US military with over 24 years of leadership and aviation experience. I have two Master's Degrees. The PMP exam is one of the worst tests I have ever taken for actually assessing useful knowledge. The PMBOK and PMI material are easy, but your test questions are structured poorly. The question wording is often ambiguous with four poor answer choices. It is a terrible way to evaluate leadership or knowledge of terms and processes.

Your test does not promote quality learning. I think you need to do a survey of Project Managers 1-3 years after they received certification to ascertain if the test was useful to them.
