I passed the exam on the first attempt. I studied with the PMI Study Hall, which prepared me fairly well for the exam questions.

I am a retired senior officer in the US military with over 24 years of leadership and aviation experience. I have two Master's Degrees. The PMP exam is one of the worst tests I have ever taken for actually assessing useful knowledge. The PMBOK and PMI material are easy, but your test questions are structured poorly. The question wording is often ambiguous with four poor answer choices. It is a terrible way to evaluate leadership or knowledge of terms and processes.

Your test does not promote quality learning. I think you need to do a survey of Project Managers 1-3 years after they received certification to ascertain if the test was useful to them.

It’s a difficult exam and meant to be tricky. I wish it was more real world applicable though. While I understand PMI expects the mindset, i believe more people would benefit from what would you actually do.

The website is super intuitive. It’s seems relatively easy to navigate and understand how you have to earn PDUs to maintain your PMP cert.

It was very good experience.

I have managed projects over 15+ years and have taken PM training before but this certification process was comprehensive. It was a great experience.

I have not had a great experience with PMI. I paid for the course and started it paused it and went to bed. The next day it said all of it had been completed. Could not get ahold of a live person. Had to text they said they would reset the couse 24 hours later still not reset. I paid $588 dollars and I can’t get anyone to help me and I am not able to even take the course. I have spent hours on hold on text waiting and waiting on a live person.

Everything was great except the delay in result. Why the result was delayed for 24 hours. Its online test and result should be available immediately. You engaged for 230 minutes and then find that results are not available.

Overall, my experience with the PMP course was very positive. The course was well organized, aligned closely with the PMP Exam Content Outline, and made complex project management concepts easier to understand through practical, real-world examples.

The practice questions and quizzes were especially helpful in reinforcing key concepts and identifying areas that needed more study.

Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone preparing for the PMP certification. It provided a strong foundation, built my confidence, and helped prepare me effectively for the exam.

Project Management Institute made it very easy to schedule the exam and was very quick with the results after the examination.

If taking an online exam at home, please make sure your are comfortable with the monitor size, I took exam on 41" size monitor, this made it very hard form me because the screen is going to be stretched making all the button and interface options spread far away. It does also make it hard to read the text as font size is not going to change with large screen.
