We recently had Plus Rooms complete a side return wrap around extension for our terraced house. The build went incredibly smoothly and to time, even when the build team had to deal with the coldest winter for a while! The project manager, site foreman, electrician and finishing teams were all excellent and, when dealing with a family with young kids on a terraced house build, were incredibly courteous, clean and great at mitigating dust and mess throughout. The only weak link was the plumbing team who made sizeable mistakes more than once - the only upside to that area of work was the focus on rectifying the issues from the project manager, technical director and owners of the company who ensured that issues were sorted out and the project kept on track. All in all, as good an experience as we could have hoped for with a life changing space at the end of it!

Plus Rooms recently completed our side return extension. We really appreciated the full service approach by the firm. This involved design, planning, project management and build team resources. The building team was very hardworking and dedicated. We are very pleased with the overall result and excellent service from Plus Rooms.

Plus Rooms recently completed our kitchen extension which we are very pleased with. We were recommended them but I did get other quotes and they were all similar price levels. However, Plus Rooms were by far the most professional from the very first meeting. They supplied a detailed schedule of works which was very helpful and they stuck to the schedule. The whole team from the project manager to the on site builders were professional and hard working. I would highly recommend Plus Rooms for your home improvement project.

We obtained several quotes and are very pleased that we chose to use Plus Rooms and are very pleased with the results.
The service level which they provided was very high, particularly the communication which is extremely important with this kind of project. There are so many decisions to make and things that can go wrong, especially if you are not able to be on site all the time! Without the input of our project manager the process would have been far more difficult and wouldn’t have ended up with such good results.
We found the builders, plumbers and electricians to all be of a high standard and eager to please and again good on communication. Something which can be a rarity in London!

We recently worked with Plus Rooms on our Kitchen extension and refurbishment project and they were a pleasure to work with. The build was very efficient and they communicated well at all stages. Would have no hesitation in recommending and endorsing them.

Plus Rooms oversaw the extension of our kitchen side return of our Victorian terrace house in SE24 over the spring, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results.
Due to a difficult situation with our adjoining neighbour, it took over a year to produce a Party Wall Agreement, during which Plus Rooms personnel produced extremely detailed documents way beyond normal expectations. They showed patience and professionalism throughout out a very tiring process which I'm certain other building companies may have walked away from.
Once the build started, the builders were sensitive to the situation and bent over back-wards to adhere to the agreement. The build itself ran to schedule, and the building team couldn't have been more polite and conscientious to our families needs. Once the build was complete Plus Rooms arranged the Plumber, Electrician and Finishing teams, all of whom did amazing high end work. Whilst we could have saved a little money going with a less respected company - we feel we got our money's worth, and couldn't be happier with the results.

The process of extending one's home is a big deal and can be really stressful. It also takes time and money!

We spent some time looking around for builders and a strong project management team. We were very impressed by our first consultation with Plus rooms. It was clear that they had been in the business for a good while and had completed some impressive projects locally and around the London area. This meant that they had a good vision of how best to use the space and light available to us.

From the outset the team were very professional - a real "can do" team, who were always quick and responsive to any queries and concerns we had. The planning and design were streamlined and the time from building approval to start worked very well for us. Plus Rooms have recruited an outstanding team of builders, decorators, plumbers and electricians - each with a strong work ethic and a pride in their work. They liaised with each team and coordinated all work on site, which for our substantial build was not a trivial undertaking. What also impressed us was Plus Room's flexibility - a willingness to discuss different options, and to refine the work accordingly.

Plusrooms recently completed a large extension for us and internal remodelling.

From the beginning the project was run smoothly. Communication was solid, and Plusrooms helped us navigate some tricky planning issues.

Most importantly, the quality of work was exceptional. All the Plusrooms contractors and personnel had clearly worked together on many projects and collaborated to deal with challenges efficiently. The resulting works were to a very high standard and we are very happy with the results.

We were very impressed by Plusrooms who recently completed a side return and rear extension to one of our rental properties in East Dulwich.

They kept to their promised 8 week building schedule and solved problems as they went along . We especially like the way that their project manager stood in between ourselves as the client and their
builders, and sub-contractors - so there were never any communication problems. If we had any queries we asked the project manager and he got them sorted very quickly.

We have used several other loft conversion/ extension companies on our portfolio of rental properties - Plus Rooms are the only firm we would happily recommend to others. They are head and shoulders above the competition in terms of quality control and overall professionalism.
Their prices were also competitive.

We went to Plus Rooms as we respected their long term expertise. When we had quotes for our kitchen side return extension they also compared very well.

Their pricing was clear so we were able to budget exactly for the whole project, with a contingency we were later able to spend on the garden.

The end result is great and what we also really appreciated was that they wanted to get things right and ensure we were happy. We had a great project manager who like a super hero would arrive when ever we needed him (once within 10 minutes of my phone call).

There was a delay in the expected start date - which was frustrating but it all worked out in the end.

The team of builders worked so hard (even through the very cold February weather this year) and were always keen to meet or do more than was planned for each week. They were also friendly and polite and at the end of each day cleaned up and left the house and worksite as neat as possible.

We needed to keep the kitchen units in the existing kitchen and be able to use the kitchen while the work took place, which is not usually possible but the builders said "no problem" and created a wooden wall to divide the space. They also solved another couple of problems easily and with a smile.

I could even risk saying we enjoyed the whole project. And much of that is down to each of the people that were part of the Plus Room's team.

Excellent experience with Plus Rooms when having our kitchen extension (side return) developed in SW London. V professional, good communicators and follow-up / attention to detail excellent. Would certainly recommend to anyone considering a similar project.

We invited PLUS ROOMS for a quotation and so they came along. However, 2 weeks later when we had not heard anything we contacted them again and were advised that we would receive the quote within a few days. 3 weeks go by and still NOTHING! I called them once again to remind them of the quote and the lady advised me that she would look into it and get back to me. I then receive an email stating that they could not provide a quote as our extension was too large a project!!! I have seen examples of their work online and some of the projects have been similar or even larger!

I find it completely unprofessional on their part to simply not communicate with us inspite of me making several efforts to communicate with them and then eventually they inform us that they can not undertake the work!

Obviously, I can't comment on their work but their service was absolutely appalling and I am actually relieved that we did not have to deal with them ultimately.

They project managed the whole thing right from design, costing, adjustments, planning, build scheduling, (prompting us what to buy and when), right through the build - and we couldn't be more delighted with our new space. Living through building works is unpleasant but was made less so with Robbie and James' support and professionalism. We had the odd snagging that needed resolving at the end of the job, which you would always expect, so we are more than happy to recommend them.

We have never undertaken a project of this nature before and we were very cautious in trying to find the right company to do it. Plus Rooms were brilliant from start to finish. All the staff went out of their way to help and the build team we were assigned were first class. Not only were they highly skilled professionals but they were tidy, courteous and polite at all times and were highly respectful of the fact they were working in our home.

The end product is fantastic and we are so pleased we decided to extend our home using Plus Rooms. - VERY highly recommended!!!!

Just sitting in our new extension enjoying the fact there's no work tomorrow - and that i am surrounded by .... space!! Feel compelled to sing praises of Plus Rooms who made this happen fast, to a really high standard (I know this as I brought in some independent workmen / carpenters etc who worked alongside Plus Rooms and they all commented on the high standard of the plus rooms work), with committed, hard working teams that didn't hang about... no lounging about drinking tea, the minute they set foot in the house they were working ...really nice guys too, no hesitation having them in the house while we were out. The brilliance of Plus Rooms was the project consultant James, who, at the outset came up with a brilliant layout idea that has given us so much more usable space. It seemed unconventional initially, but it was absolutely the right thing to do and the spacing works superbly - genius.

Professional, true to their word, fast, high quality, reasonable...Not the most expensive on the market - not the cheapest either, but refreshingly professional. What a find!

We recently used plus rooms for our kitchen extension and were really happy with their service. I found James ( one of the owners ) really helpful at the start when deciding on design etc - he offered up lots of suggestions... Price wise they were competitive & stayed true to their original quote !

We had a project manager assigned to us ( Alex ) who was great - he was on site every week , explained the different stages and if we had any problems quickly got them rectified .

The whole process has been a really positive one and I would highly recommend !

We have used Plus Rooms on two occasions, namely a loft extension and basement fit out. We have been very pleased with the results and overall management of both projects. They have been quick to return and fix any snags you expect to get with a build and find the company both professional and their results impressive ! I would definitely recommend them and use them again !

We wanted a downstairs extension that would give us a nice large family kitchen as there are five people in the house. We shopped around for an ideal, trustworthy builder. It was all very confusing and as my husband works full-time and we have a 1 year old, there just wasn't time to organise the whole extension our selves. Then we came across Plus Rooms. They are unusual in the sense they 'project manage' the whole job, from start to finish, even to liaise with the electrician, plumber and kitchen people etc, WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Since completing our plusrooms extension a couple of months back, i've been meaning to write a review to say how impressed we were with how 99% of the project went.

In particular, i'd like to mention builders Ray and Fred for earning our trust from day one, and getting the teams cracking through the work at an incredible pace. In addition to beating several of their own deadlines, our house was also left near enough spotless at the end of each day, turning what could have been a major upheaval into something that was actually very easy to live alongside for a few weeks.

We think the final result is a best in class side-return extension on our road - and we are very grateful to all the teams involved for consistently going the extra mile.
