We had a kitchen extension completed by Plus Rooms and are thrilled with the finished product. We love living in the new space. The entire process was so professionally managed and our project manager was responsive and helped us with all our queries throughout the project. The aftercare now that the project is completed has also been fantastic - any issues are responded to swiftly and managed professionally. It has been a great experience and we have already recommended Plus Rooms to friends and neighbours.

I am delighted with the kitchen extension done by Plus Rooms. I had never done serious building work before, on a tight budget and felt out of my depth. The service provided by Plus Rooms was absolutely spot-on - the Project Manager explained everything clearly, he thought around problems and even charmed some difficult neighbours. The quotation covered and costed all contingencies, and even though the house threw up some surprises along the way, it came in on budget. The build team were just superb, intelligent, experienced and took real pride in their work. Sadly, there were some issues with the finishing team, and at this stage, there were unnecessary delays and mistakes. Plus Rooms stepped in to manage this part of the project despite it not being in the contract, and have been very responsive to my feedback. All's well that ends well - I have a stunning and well-constructed kitchen. Thank you Plus Rooms.

We used Plus Rooms for a kitchen and roof extension. The whole project was extremely well project managed from start to finish. The build team were very efficient and professional and even finished ahead of schedule. And any problems were escalated appropriately. We would use Plus Rooms again and would highly recommend them.

We used Plus Rooms for kitchen extension and loft conversion recently. Having not done any major building work before, we were extremly anxious. However Plus Room's project manager took all the stress associated with building work away. The build was on time and on budget. We felt well informed through every stage of the project. Plus Rooms team set a temporary kitchen in our living room, so we managed to live in during the work with 2 small children. The building team was exceptionally good, very tidy, professional and the quality of the work is to a very high standard. We would absolutely use Plus Rooms again and would recommend them to friends and family.

All teams were very considerate and tidy which made living through the build with small children relatively stress-free. We engaged with several firms to quote for a rear extension to include exposed brick walls, exposed steels, external canopies and merging a New York warehouse style kitchen extension into an Edwardian house. We chose Plus Rooms on the back of several meetings, conversations and the way they talked us through the timings and costs of the project. We felt that we were hiring a firm who were dedicating teams and resources to our build, not juggling multiple builds at the same time.

Plusrooms designed and built a single story side return extension to our one bed Victorian Terrace flat in Peckham. We did a lot of research on D&B companies and they had the best reviews and also provided one of the most competitive quotes.

The whole process was very smooth and enjoyable, they communicated well and the work was completed to a high standard and pretty much on time. There was a little delay with the finishing but I think this is normal. Our project manager was great and very easy to get hold of if there were any issues etc. We are very very happy with the result and would definitely recommend plusrooms to anyone else.

We used Plus Rooms after a recommendation from a friend. They extended our kitchen, first floor and did a loft conversion. We were very impressed with their professionalism and they were quick to rectify any concerns we had. We trusted their building team and they did a great job with the build. They finished on time and the price didn't change from the original quote apart from any extras we requested along the way. We would recommend them to anyone wanting a similar project done.

We have recently completed a side and rear return in East Dulwich. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. This is a professional outfit that do the end to end service from design/planning onwards, with proper oversight from the Project Manager and a clear pricing structure. The quality of the finish is excellent and we have been amazed by how much space we got just from the side and rear return.If you are thinking about doing this work it is worth speaking to these guys first, they are genuinely brilliant.

We had our home completely refurbished incl. a large side return completed by Plus Rooms. Every part of the process was brilliantly managed by our Project Manager. He was a joy to communicate with, and nothing was ever an issue or a big ask. the quality of the workmanship, and the pace at which the guys worked was astounding. We have worked with lots of firms, and typically have had an average to bad experience. It sounds cheesy, but our experience was really worth 5 stars. Well done Plus Rooms, job well done!!!

Overall a good job but there was a discrepancy between the building team who were efficient and kept to time and the finishing team who weren't and didn't. The handover between these two aspects of the project (albeit over Christmas) was very slow which added considerably to the time/stress of the build overall and we have had problems with a leak into our new extension which is ongoing although being sorted.

Pros:

Professional/accessible project manager - even pacified neighbours at the weekend
Building team very considerate and rapid - ahead of schedule and cleaned up very well
Plumbing/Electrician team considerate and professional

Cons:
Finishing team very slow and irritating at points
Water ingress problem into new extension
Some small items unfinished due to poor handover between building and finishing team (i.e. unclear whose responsibility it was)

I would highly recommend Plus Rooms. We had a fantastic team, the quality of work was very high and it was all completed as per the schedule.

Plusrooms were extremely helpful at every stage of the process. We loved having one point of contact whenever we had a question. It would have been awful having to coordinate all the different builders, plumbers, plasterers, etc, ourselves. They were especially helpful at the design and planning stage when they gave shape to our sketchy ideas.

We are very pleased with our new garden room extension. Plus Rooms promised that we would be able to use the room by Christmas and we were delighted to be using our new space for our Christmas lunch. The whole team worked very hard and everything was coordinated by our superb project manager. We definitely recommend Plus Rooms.

We felt Plus Rooms stood out from the beginning; their approach when we talked through what we wanted for our rear extension felt personal – rather than one-size fits all – and accommodated all the specific features we requested. Plus Rooms were great, they coordinated the entire process from the beginning; from arranging the architects, submitting for planning permission, liaising with building control, arranging all the appropriate surveys and taking care of all the building elements too (structural engineering, building, plumbing, electrics, plastering etc).

Both our project manager and site foreman were great; making appropriate recommendations, explaining options and ensuring the building process ran seamlessly. The building crew were fab; we lived-in and they sealed off part of the house to reduce the impact of dust & to keep everything secure. They kept the site tidy and were always polite, courteous and always arrived / left on time.

We are so pleased with the end result, the extension looks fantastic and we would not hesitate in recommending Plus Rooms!

We had our extension completed by PlusRooms September 2018. It ended up being a substantial project with complications along the way which were aptly handled by the project manager and build team. They were thorough in budgeting and stuck to their original quote in all aspects other than areas which were completely unavoidable and in those circumstances, worked hard to get things done cost efficiently. This was a team that felt transparent and ‘on our side’. There were a few delays here and there but nothing which prevents me from recommending the team.

Plus Rooms recently carried out a loft , rear kitchen / dining room extension as well as internal remodelling of our first floor bathroom . It was a big project during which we continued to live in the house with our young boy and a small dog ! Quite an undertaking but certainly made manageable by our excellent Plus Rooms Project Manager for whom nothing was ever too much . He communicated with us throughout the project and was always just a text or phone call away with very prompt replies to any queries .

The quality of the work was excellent and budgets were adhered to which is important when undertaking a large project The teams on site were professional , polite and very hardworking .

We are delighted with the results and would highly recommend Plus Rooms .

The build ran to schedule (even a little ahead) and to budget.
