We used PITS to recover data from our son’s laptop which was badly water damaged. It was his PhD coding and so pretty vital. They were expensive - I haven’t had to recover data before so no idea of market rates. Cost depended on how quickly you needed the data back. We went for the second quickest turnaround. However - even if expensive they definately delivered. They told us what to expect of the service and delivered within the promised timescales. All our data was recovered. Alvin was our contact and he was very efficient. Would recommend.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR USB STICK WITH THE HOPE THEY DO WHAT THEY SAY. READ OTHER REVIEWS. I contacted this company about a recovery on USB stick. How I wish I had read the reviews here and on Google before sending it. They claim to retrieve data on USB but BE WARNED, they are just going to make money out of you and then claim you just unlucky 1%. You pay £50 upfront and it is still unclear what they do. They then get you to commit to an upfront % of the quote. In my case £300 and they said it would take 8 weeks after I told them I could not afford the £1600 quoted. How I wish I had done my homework and not wasted my time for 8 weeks waiting for them to contact me. This was a waste and I am unsure if I can try elsewhere. Try elsewhere unless you want PITS to make a quick buck-making scheme of £350.

PITS has great customer service and were great to work with. They are knowledgeable and professional and were able to recover my lost data.

They did what they said and recovered 2tb of my lost date on my hard drive, where other companies said it was beond hope of getting my data back

They made unreal real, I finally got my data from the long time ago. I want to mention Fred who helped me a lot, amazing job!

My Mac Pro had a major failure while I was in the middle of complex and extensive edit of a hisotrical series. I lost almost a year of work, along with passcwords and access codes. Worse, the failure of teh comp¨ter caused about 8 hard drives attached to it, to lose their files. I found PITS after digging through internet searches and encountering a number of scams that prey on us at our most vulnerable times. PITS came through, not cheap, but they recovered everything that could be recovered. A difficult recovery due to restructuring of the disc a while back but almost all of what I was after was recovered and named correctly, rather than having arbitrary names.

I gave PITS a back-up drive that had "burnt out" - i.e. it started draining power and stopped working. I then found it had become extremely hot. and became extremely hot. I sent it off to PITS without much hope, but they recovered everything and returned it to me on a new hard drive. Everything seems to be there, file structure and all. Brilliant! At first sight it seems quite expensive and takes a while but the results are what matters!

Excellent communication and turnaround of the data recovery

I just completed my verification session and am happy to say that PITS successfully recovered all my photos from my mom's SD card, which had been unusable for probably a decade. Communication with them was straightforward and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises. We also have a couple of other heavily damaged drives that we’ll be shipping to PITS shortly.

I recently used PITS Global Data Recovery Services after my company 12TB G-RAID 2 failed. I have had them diagnosed before and the previous company told me that there is no way to recover the data from it. However, PITS told me totally opposite once they completed their inspection. They determined that the device has a physical failure and the chances to recover it might be low but still possible. After giving it some thoughts, I decided ti proceed and within 2 weeks, they got me back more than 99% of my data. The recovery was fast and thankfully successful. I am glad that I was able to find then before giving up on my data

After reading mixed reviews I can confirm we had a good experience. The data was recovered and sent to us within the timeframe agreed. Yes a little expensive but guess it depends on how much you want the data back. I would use them again as they were very responsive with emails and easy to deal with.

I have been hesitant to have my hard drive data recovered, mostly because I was concerned that it wasn't recoverable. I also knew, going in, that data recovery wasn't cheap.
That said, PITS was easy to deal with. They explained all of my options and the process step by step. Extremely professional service. All my data was recovered in the time frame projected.
