Communication was 10/10. I desperately needed my SD card recovered and they made it happen. Even though it was pricey, they were my best option to get the service completed. They were also very understanding and gave me the best deal available.

I worked with Kevin to recover data from an old 500GB Seagate external hard drive that had malfunctioned back in 2020. I had extensive family genealogy research on my flashdrive which had unfortunately became corrupt and disabled. I stupidly had not backed up my work for almost a year. I was panicked and distraught. All my hard work was lost. I called Pits Data Recovery and Eric calmly walked me through some steps and said their company could try to retrieve my files. My contact was with Eric Morgan, he walked me through the process, kept me informed during the investigation and recovery, and expedited the return of the recovered data. Upon its return I was able to reintegrate the recovered data seamlessly. Thank you PITS.

I paid over $4500 for data recovery and over $500 for a hard drive enclosure for a second copy of my data. At first they told me my original enclosure would work, so I provided drives. Then they told me it was faulty, but that they had an enclosure selling for retail at $1000, but they'd give it to me for $500. I ask they confirm that it had USB connectivity to my computer. They said it did. I did a quick google search to compare costs for what I was looking for, and saw the product they were offering did have a USB. I took them at their word about the discount and its connectivity, as they're the experts. I agreed to purchase it. When I received the product with my data, I could not access the data because the USB was not for the purpose I intended to use it for, I did some research and found that the device only works using a LAN cable with a different speed. I also received the product without original packaging, without warranty and without instructions. I then looked at the product model and saw it was discontinued--that it was not retailing at all. I called for a refund. They returned my call, I was told that they reviewed the calls, and since I was given the model number, I was capable of doing my own research, and they refused a refund.

I had a number of 30-year-old and valuable data tapes that needed to be recovered for implementation and exhausted my own hardware limits and those of my trusted resources before I ran across PITS. Kevin C. professionally addressed my concerns and efficiently got the job done. Wish I’d known about this firm months ago.
