I started out confused because the parameters of getting help for a defunct hard drive were complex and specific- but this service turned out to be amazing. The hard drive had really important interviews that I needed for a film, and it had been sitting broken in a drawer for 8 years when I finally reached out to PITT. I got them all back, beautiful and whole and fully functional for my edit. So grateful for this service!

Wow. I’m a software engineer and photographer. I am well aware of redundancy and have had a cloud backup solution in place for years. When my external drive failed and my cloud storage provider deleted my files (that’s another story) I was devastated. I had my external drive in shops for 5 months. No luck. Then I rang up Eric Morgan at PITS. I was desperate and Chat GPT recommended PITS. I was all in after talking to him. Here I am 3 weeks later, looking at my life memories again. Words cannot express my gratitude. Easy recommendation.

It’s hard to put into words exactly how we feel! We had some extremely valuable information that potentially was lost that affected thousands upon thousands of people. It is such a scary thing we had never been through this process before, but this company was stellar and how they handled us, constant communication, answered any and every question. I attempted to transfer precious family photos from an outdated Mac OS to an updated version without success, after iMac tech wiped the hard drive to update the OS, I discovered the hard drive back up I was counting on to restore the data had stopped functioning several months earlier and data/photos were irretrievable. Contacted PITS Global and spoke to Kevin C. Brought Toshiba hard drive to the Brooklyn location. Was informed within a few days the HD problem was mechanical but the disk data was retrievable. The price quoted was reasonable and not charged until data was recovered, reviewed & approved. Since some of the recovered data was in an obsolete format, it took a couple of technical procedures for Kevin & the technicians to retrieve my photos in a format I was able to view (from home by app), verify it was the desired files, which were then to be transferred to a hard drive and returned to me. Kevin & the entire PITS technical team were very patient & attentive as I tried to explain the problem in my non technical language and what I hoped to recover. They went above & beyond my expectations explaining the situation in terms I could comprehend……I highly recommend PITS & Kevin C.
