I got in touch with them over 2 weeks ago about cat flap. Sent all the details they never got in touch with me. Don’t bother with them. Why would you be called “pet flaps” if you can’t be even bothered to reply

It's fair to say that John Carolan not only had a most brilliant idea to start the company during lockdown, he went on to build a brilliant team around him who deliver excellence at every turn. And John himself is a pleasure to talk to.

We only need one Pet Door but should we ever move and need another, there is only one company we will call to supply and install - Pet Flaps UK!

My cat flap was installed by Josh. I was so happy with the experience. He knew exactly what he was doing and wasn't fazed at all when my door turned out to be thicker than standard. He even showed me how to programme the cat flap when it was done. I'm so glad I got cat flap specialists in for the installation.

This company is exactly what I needed. I have not had to arrange a catflap to be fitted before and didn’t really know what it might involve. The staff helped me decide which model would suit us, advised on best location, and paired us up with a fantastic fitter who came to do the install. The process was tidy and pain free. I appreciated the consultations throughout. When I was apprehensive about timings, they got back to me with reassurances quickly.

Our product was installed by Jimmy and he did an amazing job. He came on time and in less than 2h all was done and dusted. I would recommend him definitely to anyone needs a wall mounted cat flap installed.

Superb service from start to finish!

After our initial online enquiry , we were guided with plenty of expertise as we wasn’t sure what catflap was appropriate for us (we didn’t realise how many there are to choose from) .

The engineer who installed our catflap was very polite and done a great job ! We couldn’t be happier !

Thanks to everyone that helped us out we now have one very happy cat !

I contacted Petflaps after being messed around with other companies and tradesmen saying it couldn’t be done. After paying my deposit I was contacted straight away by their fitter Josh. I was kept informed every step of the way and 4 days later I had the catflap installed in my kitchen wall. No more being woken by my cats and it looks fantastic! Start to finish the service was excellent! Look no further than Petflaps!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Looked into getting a pet door installed for my dog. Did some research and asked this company plenty of questions. I was assured by their customer services that I would receive the door within 2 weeks, then instillation would be done shortly after that, stating ‘usually within 24 hours’.

I was told there are no installers in my area, I enquired if that would be problematic and was reassured that it wouldn’t be an issue, they would contract one from elswhere to come across.

The change came after I committed and paid the deposit.

The door took 3-4 weeks to arrive, so long that by the time it arrived I had no idea what it was until I saw the picture on the box.

I then contacted pet flaps uk and advised them it had arrived and requested to book a fitting. I was told they only had TWO installers in their company who could install into wood, that one was on holiday and the other injured.

After waiting a further week I stated I wanted the door fitted or a full refund as they had not kept to the agreements made.

I received a phone call from a male named John, who is the most pedantic and ignorant human I’ve had the displeasure of talking to in a considerable time.
He phoned to try and pick an argument over petty matters within my email, he then offered a date for instillation before stating it wasn’t guaranteed if a van was to break down etc, being extremely pedantic. I called him out on his attitude and was told he would terminate my fitting, arrange collection of the door and refund my money for ‘speaking to him like shit’ so it’s ok for him to do so but he doesn’t like been called out on it. I terminated the call.

I followed up with an email confirming acceptance of the instillation date offered, or a full refund. I then received an email notifying me they would arrange collection of the door and that once it has been inspected they would refund my money.

It is extremely clear they have over promised with something they simply cannot do and are now backtracking and cancelling my purchase.

Absolute waste of a time company. Avoid at all costs. Full of lies and promises then bellend John calls you with his condescending attitude and terminates your booking because you hurt his feelings by calling out his atrocious attitude.

We needed a catflap fitting into our lounge wall ready for a catio to be built. So I contacted Pet Flaps UK, they gave us a quote, which was reasonable and the job was done within a week. Josh the fitter was very pleasant and did a fantastic job and left everything clean and tidy. We asked his advice on how to connect our current catio to the new one and he said when we are ready they can have a look at it for us. Would highly recommend Pet Flaps UK

Fantastic service from start to finish plus the very pleasant chap who did the fitting cleaned up once the job was finished. Now thats what I call a good service. Such a fantastic service from start to finish, I would highly recommend this company. Everyone was so helpful and friendly throughout. I was kept completely in the loop at all times and any queries were answered very quickly and efficiently. Josh the fitter was so lovely and helpful also and ensured he swept everything up after the installation. Thank you to all of the team, we are very happy with our new cat flap.

We had a tomsgate dog door installed in our brick wall. Very happy with the service. We spoke and they offered advice on the type of door we neeeded. Quick response to messages and calls back when needed. The installer was superb and very clean too. Great service all around.
