I've been using Peepso since the very beginning, after moving from buddypress.
The quality of the peepso plugin package and the support that comes with it, really can't be praised enough.

The price is spot on, as the old saying goes you pay for what you get and in this case it rings true. A quality price for a quality product and support service.

Support is fast and reliable and certainly can't be doubted

It's a great plugins set to turn a site or store envolving users and clients in a community.

I've been using Peepso for around two years now and can't fault them. There have been times that I've needed to ask them for support with techie stuff and they've been really hands on in helping me. They seem to have a really on the ball support team. Peepso definitely gets a big thumbs up from me.

I've tried almost every similar plugin and have mixed experiences.

Some of the free plugins are better as some of the paid ones and vice versa.

When starting out, I was rather happy with the free alternatives. Until you start to implement other features, need third party add-ons, don't have the proper dedicated support you need.

After a long search and comparing. Testing and failing. Trying over and adapting I discovered PeepSo, which was a complete new player on the WordPress market. With many years of experience for other platforms they offered the free core plugin of PeepSo.

Installed it and it just did what it had to do. A few css adjustments here and there for my own personal taste and done!

I was so impressed with it that I ended up on their website, buying the add-ons.

3 years later and the few times I needed support, the support was there to help! Okay, there are different time zones and in the weekend the support is offline as it is a small team and providing 24/7 support needs people and funding. But the moment someone is online you can bet they will answer asap!

The updates are another part which makes me want to keep using PeepSo. Almost every 2 weeks there is an update with new features, bug fixes, added compatibility and cleaning up the code and optimizing it.

It's always tested with the latest WordPress versions and works with almost every theme on the market. I say almost as it depends on the theme and its code rather than PeepSo.

I get that others have had some issues. That's to be expected with anything that has codes!

But... I need to say that most of the complaints I see in the negative reviews are based on people who either didn't check their host if it could handle the plugin or people who had issues which were not caused by PeepSo itself and wanted a refund even though it wasn't PeepSo's fault.

I'm going to use a car metaphore here.

The complaints I see are the ones from people who ask a refund because they bought the car in yellow while they wanted to change to a red car or add options the garage doesn't provide and blame the salesperson to not refund when that's not possible or not the garage its fault. (Wanting a refund for something PeepSo is not responsible).

Or people who buy a truck while their garage barely fit a Mini Cooper and blame the manufacturer of the truck for not fitting in their garage. (Host doesn't allow the plugin to be used or limits the requirements needed to be able to run the plugin)

Try the free Core plugin. See how it works. If any questions or doubt, ask before buying and make sure you will be able to run the plugin on your site. Just ask the support some presale questions or contact your host to ask if it will run on their servers. They will happily help you decide if PeepSo is the right option for you and your server. Better to ask in before than to complain afterwards.

PeepSo, the Gecko theme and the team behind the company are great and always have been.

I always recommend this plugin whenever I see someone asking for a social network solution for WordPress.

5 stars. Nothing's perfect, but it's as close as it gets compared to other alternatives.

I am very surprised to see some of the accusations in past reviews and suspect these have been caused by clients with the wrong expectations or who have had second thoughts after their purchase and tried to reverse their contract.

I have over 20 years in web development, the majority of these with WordPress and Plugins too.
My interaction with Peepso is on a personal project, however I deal with large development companies on a daily basis in my real job too.
Peepso is in my top 2 of all companies I deal with. I trust them, I respect their policies and their communication and I believe their product is far superior to any other social platforms available for WordPress (years of experience with the others too).

Peepso's pricing and policies are completely transparent and their refund policy is fair. Any changes I have requested have been managed quickly. Upgrades and extensions of license all manageable in seconds in their website.

Financial transactions with Peepso have been free of any troubles. Other developers and plugin platforms have caused massive nightmares when something didn't work... refunds not given or delayed, not the case with Peepso.

I wish I had found them years ago instead of only during the last year. They would have saved me thousands of hours of frustration and unnecessary development. I commend them to anyone who is serious about building a social network on top of Facebook.

It is the first review I have ever bothered to write on TrustPilot. Perhaps I will write more - judging by the writing quality of many of the reviews on this page, TrustPilot itself needs some quality content. A lot of suspicious remarks made in these reviews. I guess like TripAdvisor, there will always be a lot of gaming the system by competitors.

Amazing all around! Looks and works great, team is always prompt and polite and very helpful. I love the UI and always get great reviews from our members as well! Great product! I highly recommend!

After months of research and testing at least five other custom community/social media platform plugins for Wordpress, I selected Peepso. It has rich features, is far and away the most customizable. I have been using Peepso for over a year now with amazing success and the community members love it as much as I do. It works perfectly with Wordpress, is extremely customizable, and the support is stellar. When we've had an issue, we've raised it with support, and a fix is provided. I love the clear, upfront pricing, too. The Gecko/Peepso package is worth every penny. Thank you, Peepso team!

Decent software and great functionality but kinda laggy.

Also horrible and semi-confusing refund policy. Seem very money-hungry and I don't particularly trust the team, but the software is kinda cool.

Very surprised at all the negative comments here. We have been using Peepso on our Sailing Association Website for two years and it works very well. Peepso is under constant development so expect upgrade packages every 2-3 weeks. The company is based in South East Asia so there is generally a lag between raising a support ticket and having a response. But given this caveat I've always found their support staff to be timely and helpful. Never had any issues with money being taken from account either.

Very buggy plugin and their support is worst. You need to wait for days for one request.

WARNING WORST PLUGIN COMPANY. IT DOESN'T WORK ON WORDPRESS.COM THEY WON'T REFUND MY MONEY AND THAT IS IN THERE CONTRACT THE PLUGIN SHOULD BE WORKING. THEY DON'T WORK ON WEEKEND. THEY ARE VERY RUDE CAUSE I HAD ASKE FOR HELP ON THE WEEKEND, THEY AR PLANNING TO BAN ME BECAUSE I WROT THE TRUTH ABOUT THERE COMPANY. AND THEY CAN’T FIX THE ISSUES OR REFUND MY $120.00
THEY KEEP UPDATING THEIR PLUGIN CAUSE THE PLUGIN TO BREAK NOW IT'S NOT WORKING. NOW I HAVE NEW DIFFERENT ISSUES. I M REMOVING IT.

Purchased the full works of peepso but have just been called by my banks fraud team as peepso has been attempting to take random amounts of money out of my bank, luckily it's an account I dont keep money in often but now my bank account has been frozen while I wait for a new card. Clearly some sort of scam.
