Amazing quality of food! We've been using Paws on Plates for around 4 months now and our dog really looks forward to meal times 🐕 Really convenient to have freezer storage to keep the food fresh too. This also gets a super high rating on All About Dog Food and is exactly what we were looking for to move away from the processed dog foods.

The food did not agree with my dog, it gave her terrible poos, despite introducing it very gradually. Shame because she seemed to enjoy it.

The quality of the food is great and I’ve seen a huge improvement in my dogs energy levels and overall wellness. They were previously on butternut or Marleybones, so still high end food!

I also like that the ingredients are locally sourced.

My 2yr old cocker has been fussy for ages ! I swapped her to raw and became fussy and I was throwing away more than she ate , I've tried other brands of kibble that's been cold pressed and freeze dried again she would eat it but wasn't overly keen ! So thought I'd try paws on plates and it has been a success she's not turned her nose up at anything I've offered her, and she actually waits by her food bowl at meal times waiting on hers

My 5 month old French bulldog cross has been on paws on plates for quite a few weeks now and appears to be thriving. All quite an easy procedure, to order and have it delivered. Just a case of taking the amount you need for a few days, out of the freezer. Delivered on time, reasonably priced and nutritious.

Salmon bones in some off the salmon foods this should be looked into it wasent just in one batch my dogs could have choked l dont know why others didnt have fish bones in there food other wise everything was great paws did replace 16 off my dog food so l didt have any salmon so fairplay my dogs really love it l did cancel due to trust haveing bones in food my dog really did enjoy the lamb its a same l had to cancel are 4 fur babys was really excited when it came to food time l have now change the review to 5* has im really happy paws have started new guide lines to make sure this doest happen again l might think about ordring again has there food smells and look really nice and my dogs really love paws also l would say paws is run very well also they respond very quickly to any questions thanks so much

The food is high quality and it's lovely seeing our woof so excited at meal times. Smells delicious and full of great ingredients, including decent % on meat/fish.

As highlighted by most, the packaging is a lot better than with other suppliers. We also don't mind weighing out our daily amount needed if it means prices staying more affordable compared to other competitors.

Only criticism is around the website tweaks needed, and we know they're on the way so it's positive knowing feedback is being listened to.

Highly recommend Paws on Plates, and here's hoping they keep going as they are!

Really good product, good packaging, our dog loves the food

I first heard of this company as it is rated the highest in fresh food on all about dogs UK scoring a massive 95%, I only want the best for my puppy chihuahua after discovering she had chicken allergy I switched to paws on plates and have been ordering from Paws on plates for 2 months now and not only is it packed with fresh meat and veg I have noticed a huge difference in the overall health of my pup, sparkling eyes silky shiny gorgeous coat, no more itching, I couldn't be more happier, I needed to make a few changes to my delivery at short notice and Sam was amazing he sorted my problem straight away, I cannot fault this company at all , I just wish I knew about it before with my past fur babies, I would highly recommend switching to paws on plates, my Ruby loves Boot's Beef Bowl and Loki's Lamb and not forgetting the treats Nana's nibbles beef sticks, she jumps for joy for these.

The best dog food purchased by far

I've had 3 orders from Paws on Plates so feel I can give honest feedback. My dog was fussy with her food and also has a chicken allergy, so finding food she liked that she could eat was difficult. She absolutely LOVES this food and all the varieties. She's excited about meal times for the first time in her life!! The food is just full of goodness and her sensitive stomach (which often led to a pajnful and upset tummy) has gone completely!! So, so happy with this. I hated seeing her uncomfortable so this is huge.

The packaging and delivery has been great. Really impressed with the packaging . My delivery hasn't been arriving till afternoon and the larger sizes (400g and 800g) are still very, very frozen.

Only niggle is the website, it's a bit clunky and difficult to navigate, but not a big problem once you've ordered once and figured it out.Definitely not a reason to not order, just be aware and don't let it put you off. There's room for improvement with the website but I really get the impression that this company is extremely customer orientated and will improve as they go along.

Our dog can be a bit fussy, but with Paws on Plates he licks the bowl clean every time. We’ve tried a few different foods in the past and usually end up throwing some away — not with this. It’s also handy that it comes portioned, so we’re not guessing how much to give him. Just makes things easier.

Recently switched to Paws on Plates from another fresh food provider due to the previous food causing itching and alot of paw licking.

First of all I do think this food definitely requires less vegetables and more meaty ingredients. I believe too many vegetables can cause high yeast in dogs which can increase itching.

Pleased there are no chicken recipes. So much dog food has chicken in them and its often the worst thing for dog allergies. I do feel more varieties in flavours would be good, maybe a pork or venison option.

Website definitely needs a little tweaking for the users. A delivery date definitely needs to show on your account. Currently it just shows your payment date which is a little confusing for customers.

So far I've received fabulous customer service and at present the food is fairly reasonable in price. I just hope Sam and his team are not going to become greedy once they start becoming more well known and start increasing prices like many similar fresh dog food providers have.

I have just taken second delivery of paws on plates. I am very impressed, I like the cardboard / kraft packaging. The food smells very nice and my dogs go nuts when I’m defrosting the next box. I am also using a small amount for my other dog as a topper. The customer service is excellent. Clean bowl after every meal and toileting is great. Very reasonable pricing for such a good food.

I ordered this to have alongside my dogs kibble who is very fussy and gets bored of food after like a week or two. With the variety of flavours, this helps relieve the boredom of the same flavour. She also suffers with a bad tummy and most foods make her stool runny but with this combined with her kibble she’s had solid stools all around. It smells and looks almost like human food. There’s a huge amount of vegetables I’ve noticed.
