Ozerty NZ is no more than a scam.
Ozerty NZ (Ozerty.co.nz) is not a NZ company!
I was charged an extra $33.94 for Services when placing a freight free order. The charge was never disclosed prior to check out.
Not sure why the NZ Commerce Commission is not investigating this scam. Just read the reviews.
I canceled the order and requested a refund within 8 minutes. This request was ignored.
After further requests to cancel and refund I was informed it was too late.
The charge that came through was $52.43.
The item purchased arrived, and it was absolute crap, estimated value under $10.00.

I've tried several times and the function works, but it requires extra effort

Please DO NOT BUY from Ozerty NZ they add an eco charge that is $45 and don't let you know. When you ask for it back, they say you agreed to it. The item I purchased was less than $30, I did not agree to an additional $45 charge.
I have contacted the Commerce Commission to see if they can do something about the number of people getting ripped off.

It’s pure scam. I never came across such bad experience in my 15 yrs online purchase. And this experience give me very wrong impression to buy online and always buys product seeing reviews onwards, if reviews more then negative it’s no for me.. $15 product cost me delivery charge $35.. can you believe this one and number mentioned it’s not working.. email support is AI generated. Pure scam..

Fraudulent company. Charged my mum a load of extra fees which weren’t listed in the payment, expected to pay $27.49 but they added “services” of $29.95 to bring the total to $57.44. Then about a month later took an unauthorised $59.99 from her credit card. Currently trying to get the money back via the bank but their customer services is non existent. Don’t go near them.

Ozerty is a scam. My dad tried to buy a knee brace from their site only to have $29.99 NZD added to his order for "Services". For reference, the knee brace was advertised to be only $21.99, but with the added charge it more than doubles the price. Do not trust or buy from this website!

This company is extremely unethical. I purchased a small item for $10.49, there was a small $5 shipping fee but when the amount went off my account is was for way more than the invoice amount. They charged an extra $33.94 'service' fee.
A month later they deducted another $59.99 from my account without any authorization and no payment from my side. They are a fraudulent company, so i don't recommend purchasing anything from them.

I'm giving one star because the kitchen thermometer I ordered actually arrived.... but the extra charges made it totally overpriced for such a tacky piece of plastic. Do not buy anything from this company. I've now learned to always check a company for online reviews, if it's not a Good Name Brand. Which this company certainly isn't.

Do not shop with them. It's a scam. They will charge you extra for "services" only after you made a purchase. Bought an item for $18 and got charged $53 for services

Absolutely scammed my parents. Hidden charges, charged in foreign currency despite being advertised in local currency - they expected to pay $8.98 plus shipping and with no clearly advertised fees or any chance to change their minds based on additional charges were charged $69! Absolute robbery. Did not answer phone when called to dispute. Unethical! Absolutely do not use.

Like many others, unexplained and unwanted extra charges were added after the order. The order was to be sent priority mail, but after two weeks from date of order, it has not been sent. This appears to be a SCAM1

Do not order from this website and if you have you need to cancel your card.
I ordered something a few months ago, which they added additional charges to which did not appear until I checked my account, hidden as processing and environmental charge.
Today my card has been charged NZD 59.99 and I haven’t ordered anything.
Reported it to my bank and have had to cancel my card.
Total Scammers.

Pretend to be a nz company, they are NOT. plus added eco charge , transport charge , sep from shipping. Still waiting on order. Scam alert big time. I’m blocking them .

Do NOT in no way purchase from this website, as many other customers have said they have hidden costs and now they have gone and taken more money out without me purchasing anythng and ive had to cancel my card. FKN rippoffs i hope u get wats coming to you and your business flops n goes bankrupt

Ozerty honoured every promise made regarding the transaction. Tracking was easy and accurate. Their customer team answered all my questions with courtesy, even when I questioned them about negative online reviews. Product arrived on time. No scams nor dishonesty. Robyn. NZ.

Refuses to refund the eco charges, pulls you in with free shipping and does not display the eco charge at the final payment. They state by having it written in the small print on the site they’ve done what’s required, being satisfied with the bare minimum, knowing you will scam money from customers is extremy poor! Don’t shop with them.

Although the 2 backpacks I ordered were great, Ozerty started charging unauthorized payments on my credit card. When I contacted them about it they said "We wish to inform you that your No Limit subscription was activated because the corresponding box remained checked at the time of your payment". At no time was a "ticked" approval for further charges made obvious on the ordering page. THIS IS JUST A BLATANT SCAM!

Bought a windshield defroster and got instraal some cheap and nasty solar powered aroma diffuser. I got two of them so ended up costing me fifty dollars. I asked for a full refund and instead I got an email saying they are sending out another one of those pieces of crap. I am still going back and forth with them on this but what do they care. Honestly don’t ever shop here. Leaned rhe hard way

I bought an item and it said shipping was free, then adding shipping cost that was almost as much as the item I had purchased but this was hidden from me.

It only showed the shipping amount after I had paid and saw on my bank account that I had been charged almost twice as much what I had been told I would!

I emailed them and they simply said sorry I didn’t understand the shipping cost. (Because they LIED about it) no refund offered. Do not buy from these frauds.

I made a purchase in March but one of the products was faulty. Multiple emails backwards and forwards, I wanted a refund, but they said they have sent me a new product, although not arrived as yet. Then yesterday they took $59 out of my account, this was an unauthorized purchase which they had no right to. Now I have had to stop my credit card. I will not be shopping here again. Robyn/NZ
