Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs! This “company” is ran by a bunch of wannabe kids.
They have no knowledge of the law and expect their made up “terms and conditions” to over ride this. Not worth the paper it’s written on.
Please do not give these jokers any of your money. Just go with a reputable company instead. Claim has been put in with the ombudsman.

Since writing this review, my child has had a series of threatening messages from this company, asking me to remove this review.
This review will NOT be removed as it is a true reflection of the experience I received from this company.

For UK services sales, the 14-day cooling-off period begins from the point the order is placed (when the contract is agreed), not from the installation date of the service. In this case, the order was placed more than 14 days prior to installation, meaning the cancellation period had already expired before the service went live.

We have already discussed this with you directly and, despite this, have still attempted to offer reasonable options to help resolve the situation.

We appreciate that you’ve chosen to escalate the matter and we will of course cooperate fully with any review. We are confident that our processes and terms are compliant with the relevant regulations.

Internet without the bs is exactly the way to explain this company.

Customer service (Ayden and Liam are who I spoke to) is exceptional! Very friendly, hugely helpful and always put the customer first.

My install via CityFibre went without a hitch and my speeds are rock solid, even slightly higher than the 2.3gbps advertised (2.4 down and 2.5 up).

If you’re tired of the bs from Virgin, Sky or any other provider, it’s time to sign up for Olilo!

Does what it says on the tin!!

Does what it says on the tin.

I just wanted something that works without CGNAT and IPV6. The only thing that is a pain is the Asymetric OR side of things limiting my upload to 110meg as that is all that is available.

I had issues to start with but turned out to be my router as proven with my old router to work without issues.

Response is ideal given with Ayden being pretty much on the ball, the other solutions where companies grow to quick and don't deliver on reported faults and changes made without notification or update despite a reaonable start!

Let's hope this doesn't happen here too.

Yeah unfortunately the 110 Mbps upload limit is an Openreach product limitation on that tier, rather than something we control directly. If symmetric ever becomes available on your line in the future, we’ll definitely be pushing it out.

And don’t worry, keeping things responsive and transparent is something we care a lot about. We’d rather grow steadily and do things properly than grow fast and let service quality slip.

they blame everyone but themselves it's your old isp, its your router, its your cables... it cant possibly be their beloved (resold) network. their customer base are hardcore fanboys who will tell you the same even though it can be proven that the issues are network related. oh and when the problem is identified and eventually resolved do you think they apologise? not a chance you'd get better customer care from a big brand isp and thats saying something

Sorry to hear you feel that way - that’s definitely not the experience we aim to give anyone.

I’ve had a look through our tickets and monitoring and I can’t seem to find any previous support requests or reports from "Simon" about issues on the service. If something has been going wrong, we’d genuinely want the chance to investigate it properly rather than leave you stuck with a bad experience.

We absolutely don’t assume problems are on a customer’s side - sometimes they are, sometimes they aren’t. When issues do turn out to be on the network, we fix them and take responsibility for it. Running our own core network means we can usually see and resolve faults pretty quickly when they’re reported.

Just to clarify one point as well - Olilo isn’t a "resold network." While the physical fibre (like Openreach or CityFibre) provides the last-mile connection to the property, the service itself runs across our own core network and infrastructure. That means routing, IP addressing, monitoring, and support are all handled directly by us.

If you’re happy to, drop us a message at support@olilo.co.uk so we can take a proper look at what happened. Even if the issue is already resolved, we’d still like to understand it and make sure everything is working as it should.

Fast support and reliable service at a reasonable price

Very quick to respond to queries
Reasonable pricing for the more enthusiast/prosumer ISP
Clear pricing structure - no nonsense large new customer discount
Migration via OTS went smoothly
Price reduction to already agreed contract prices? A welcomed change compared to most!

Can't complain so far, which is rare for ISPs these days.

Interesting to see the consumer side roll out so I can start recommending friends to move over to it from the mainstream ISPs as they don't need the big features.

You won't find better or faster support anywhere

I was dealing with an awful provider within my cooling off period and sent a message over to Olilo on new years eve. Within 5 minutes I had my concerns addressed and was set on switching to these guys. About a week later the switchover was handled smoothly and it has been amazing ever since. Sure the prices aren't the cheapest but the quality is there and the people at Olilo really do seem to care. Worth every penny. I even switched my phone data provider over to these guys.

Is it Oleelo or o lil o?

Hottest ISP in the UK right now via CityFibre, fast speeds (2.5Gig), low latency (9ms, Newcastle). Down to earth tech community, both staff and users willing to assist with any queries or issues you might encounter no matter how busy they might be, throughout the day and night on Discord. Been with them for over 6 months now, never experienced a slight drop in my connection. Love being a part of their sustained; consistent growth and development. Especially cannot wait to get my hands on 5Gb/s and 10Gb/s speeds later this year.

The provider I was excited by even before joining, just because of its vibe. Rolling contracts, static IPs, or even subnets if you want, full IPv6 support, blazingly fast support. Really made for people into the technology.
Few months after joining I can confirm it works as good as advertised.

The No-Nonsense ISP That Just Works

Finally, an ISP that actually understands tech-focused network nerds and small businesses running websites and server applications. I moved my business from Virgin Media Business to Olilo about two weeks ago, and the experience has been nothing but great. The fact that they allow you to get subnets right with your order is a huge plus. The support is amazing too—huge shoutout to Liam for getting the right TOS and Privacy Policy sorted for my business needs, and to Aydan for handling all my technical questions. It’s an all-around, no-nonsense ISP that just works, unlike bigger players like Virgin Media and BT with their terrible support. 100% recommend.

Finally a good and knowledgable ISP!

I have two CityFibre lines installed through Olilo, and from start to finish the ordering, provisioning, and installation process has been exceptionally smooth. Everything was clear, well communicated, and handled without friction, which is refreshing in itself.

Olilo genuinely feels like a breath of fresh air in the ISP space. They are transparent, fairly priced, and (most importantly) technically competent. The support team clearly understands the underlying technology rather than relying on scripted responses, which immediately sets them apart from most providers. Support via Discord has been excellent; the team is active, responsive, and proactive, with questions answered quickly and accurately.

There is no unnecessary hand-off between departments or repetition when dealing with support. You engage directly with knowledgeable people who understand your setup and focus on resolving issues efficiently. The service feels straightforward, honest, and customer-focused rather than driven by internal processes.

Pricing is sensible and competitive, and the ability to not need to be in a contract is particularly welcome. It shows confidence in the service and provides genuine flexibility.

It’s a strange thing to say, but it’s almost surprising how nice it is to simply receive good, competent service, but Olilo delivers exactly that, and in a sea of crap ISPs, that alone makes them stand out.

Finally, a sincere thank you to the team for building and running the service, and for the consistent support. Highly recommended.

Not very good at all

Not very good at all. I submitted an enquiry on their website (which I must say looks the part) and heard absolutely nothing back. I was wanting to sign up before the prices increased a while ago. It's all well and good having a fancy website and a discord server, but if you don't respond to orders through said site then how can anyone rate you higher than a 1*?

TLDR version

Been with them for a week now, and can't recommend them enough! Great service, CityFibre 2.3Gbps line.

Long version:
Switched to Olilo after my previous provider (Yayzi) was closing up shop after a takeover from the original founder a while ago, and the new owner/CEO setting up a new ISP (NuFibre) and they were offloading me to another, different ISP (but told me I could move with them to NuFibre).

I found out the original founder (who had been excellent) had also created a new ISP - Olilo - with a new team, and because of his excellent service I decided to move there. Switch was painless, they have a great online community of both customers and staffers.

Honestly, I can't fault the customer service or the actual blistering fast Internet service...

Same can't be said for the old provider who told me that they didn't know I was switching and wouldn't until the day of switch when I reached out to make sure I wasn't going to get charged by Direct Debit by them due to the switch and payment dates being close to each other. My understanding is that it's not how it works and they would have been notified by CityFibre (the telecoms carrier). In fairness, they didn't charge me, but the customer service wasn't stellar... Unlike Olilo!

Top quality, no nonsense ISP.

Great ISP that offer a simple, no messing about service.

If you need support, you will either find other users in the Discord server that can help you with basic issues, or if it's an account issue, all the staff are online most of the day, and even during the night.

Even if you're not a techie, they have email based support for those that don't want to socialise on Discord which they respond quickly.

Been with them for about 6 months now, and apart from occasional drop outs due to City Fibre doing maintenance, the service has been rock solid.

Also if you are a techie, it's one of the only ISP's in the country where you could run your home lab as if it was in a datacentre, with your own IP addresses and all the fun stuff you'd get from colocation, or even a leased line.

If you're coming to the end of your contract with another provider, it's worth giving them 30 days of your time to see if they can be your new ISP.

If it's not for you, then you've only given yourself another 30 days to figure out who you want to move to.

Ultimately, if you're sick of being on hold with your ISP for ages, waiting for a call centre to answer because of an issue, or feel like you're being ripped off because a reasonably priced package is blocked off because you don't want to sign another 2 year contract, Olilo is a great ISP.

Best choice of 2025!

Happiest I’ve been with an ISP

Been with Olilo since the beta stage. Honestly it’s been the best decision I’ve made with an ISP. The speeds are topnotch (always getting the advertised 2.3gbps) The support from the team is fantastic, extremely quick replies, and pay attention to details that other ISPs don’t bother with. If you want a great quality ISP that doesn’t mess you about ( and has DHCP) then Olilo, in my opinion, is a great choice.

Broadband for geeks. Switch and don't look back!

Moved after 6 years of using Vodafone over CityFibre because of continued service degradation (traffic shaping) and terrible customer support. Was going to move to IDNet from a past positive experience and someone on Reddit when I was looking suggested Olilo.

Glad I gave that some further research because these guys are not messing about as an ISP. Straight talking, no-nonsense, no contracts for CityFibre lines and a rapid switch too. From enquiry to switch was only 3 days, and that included getting the ONT upgraded with a site visit! Outstanding speed and the entire team are technical and ultra responsive to any questions too.

Broadband for nerds is their pitch and that suits me perfectly, as they are not a consumer friendly operation who's going to dumb down or fluff up anything. If you want your ISP to provide all the equipment, hand hold and set it all up go elsewhere. If you want fast, low latency, fully configurable business grade internet without any excuses or faff, you need Olilo.

If you're the type of person who is looking for an internet provider like this, and understands all the networking terminology on their website, chances are you'll already have your own high-end equipment to use with it anyway. Make the leap and switch as I'm glad I did and wish them all the success in the future as they're super new at the moment but off to such a good start.

Moved from Zen to Yayzi and now to Olilo.
Support top notch. Legit Multigig speeds.

Guys on Discord even helped me diagnose a QOS issue causing me to lose 1 GBPS Bandwidth on my Unifi kit. Deffo care, great support.

Young as a business but they really do have the right frame of mind to be an A&A ISP type company.
