I don’t understand why people aren’t complaining about this company. You can see that many people are being charged for nothing. This is illegal, and someone should do something for this problem. They can charge people whatever they want. Who checks all these invoices? They charged my friend £750 just for opening the door. I can see in reviews that people are charged different prices, like £250, £400,1050 and other amounts.

Please, stay away from this company!!! We called them for a locked door. They said on the phone that will be 50 pounds if it’s an easy job. When the guy came he already said 129 pounds plus VAT. The drilled the door and at the end I’ve got an invoice of 218 pounds for a 5 mins drill. When I asked why so much. He said that 50 pounds to come out and drill 129. He didn’t clean or remove the locker. Just left. He wanted to charge an another 150
Pounds to remove and put an another locker what is 14 pounds on Amazon. Please find an another company !!! This is scam

I utilized this company for an evening emergency call. When the locksmith arrived, he informed me that my door key was difficult to open and suggested drilling it. Given the late hour and lack of alternatives, I reluctantly agreed. I was charged £50 for the emergency call, an extra £129, plus VAT, totaling £214.80.

Afterwards, I consulted with my builder who confirmed that my door lock was a standard Yale lock and should have been easily opened. It was completely unnecessary to resort to drilling. Despite my attempts to contact the company via phone, email, and messages, I received no response.

Not only was my money taken, but my door key was also damaged, necessitating the purchase of new keys. This experience feels like a scam. Had I checked the reviews beforehand, I would have realized that this company has a history of such practices.

Unfortunately, I found myself locked out after returning home late from work in the cold and windy weather. In such a situation, all you wish for is a quick resolution to return home. I hope the company addresses my complaint and conducts an investigation into the conduct of their employees

Dont use them or ask for total price first, they said £50 plus vat when i calked them, then they charge me £525 for 20 mins work, just a drill to pull out the old yale yellow bold lock then replace it with a new one which a new one cost less than £50, the guy was nice and friendly but too expensive, they tell u a price when he pull out the old one then u got no choice and have to pay,

Do not use.
Completely damaged door and lock handle. Doesn't take a genius to realise he has slipped with drill bit..

Like everyone else, this company has acted fraudulently and scammed us out of £316. We were quoted £45 over the phone to let us in the house after being locked out. There was a small attempt made to push the key that was on the inside by using another key before stating he’d had to drill a hole which would cost £145. Then he quoted us with an additional 355 to change the lock stating we had an expensive lock. After arguing with the locksmith, named Mark, he said he could put a cheaper lock at the total price of £316. CROOKS

This company over charges and lures you in with their initial low fee quote of £69. When they arrive they’ll tell you your lock is ‘high security’ then fit a cheap lock and charge you in excess of £350. I spoke to my landlord and they informed me they charged over double what their locksmiths would’ve charged. I only used them because of the freezing weather and they could be there in 20m. Wish I checked the reviews this company is a scam.

Do not this company. they are scams they charged us £532.80 for opening the lock and replacing it with a new one.

When called them they couldn't justify the itemized invoice and the manager nick not available to talk on the phone.

Do not be taken in by their seemingly reasonable call out fees. They replaced a cylinder lock on a flat door at a cost of £800. They claimed their replacement was a high security lock, but I checked later with another locksmith as well as the actual lock manufacturer who both said it was not, so this was a lie. The manufacturer also said it was an old lock they don't even supply anymore! the lock cost should have been about £40; they charged £389 plus VAT. They also separately charged for labour, drilling and call out... double charging effectively. They also drilled through the other lock which was apparently unecessary. They refused to give a quote over the phone in advance - claiming they needed to 'see the lock". They did not ask for a photo as the other locksmith said they ALWAYS do. All this is against Trading Standards and the Consumer Rights Act. These people are dishonest scammers with a stream of poor reviews. DO NOT USE.

They are really a chear looting your hard earned money. Please go for a local handyman instead, they charged almost 200 pounds extra than the local handyman. All ther prices are un reasonable, they charge for every thing. Please avoid this scam

Pure scam, avoid! They are simply robbing people off without any consequences. My husband paid him £423 for opening back door. Very cheeky man with very intimidating behaviour if you refuse to pay.
Will be complaining to Trading Standards too.

Our back door lock had jammed and we were unable to shut it so couldn’t leave the house until fixed. My husband called them over and then left house and was just myself and daughter left indoors. They said not just lock but whole barrel needed replacement. I had no idea if that was correct or not but couldn’t leave house until fixed. They charged £1, 254 for this. I don’t know if anyone else had any luck with small claims, would like to know if so. Their website prices are highly misleading. They give indicative prices and say that price might change when they see lock. However, I don’t think anyone would expect a deviation of 15/20 x the price expected.

Shameful what these people do, they give you a quote and then give you a completely different outrageous price.
Opening the door of a house at 15:30 on a Thursday cost us £550.

I used Thier services today and they chargee for £345 at the beginning he said £150 and when he finish he said £345 while he didn't even change the whole lock he change only the small part of the key. I highly don't recommend them

However the invoice they give is for Lock services London ltd with a different website listed
Had I known they were lock services London i would not have used.

They quoted me a price over the phone when I booked. Locksmith arrived said job more complicated and quoted me more money or which I agreed to. £150 He then offered me basic or more secure lock I went with basic he did not quote me a new price for this. When finished he quoted me a whole new price that was £200 more than the last price he communicated to me. I argued this and rang the company with locksmith still here. Company did not want to know said it’s between me and locksmith. I argued my contract is with the company they have to take responsibility I said I’d put locksmith on phone company refused to speak to him and said nothing they can do from office. I again advised he’s here I’ll literally give phone to him they still didn’t want to know. I then challenged locksmith to price he said “well would you go into a shop and buy something with no price you should have asked”
I argued the last price you told me was £150 now you say it’s costing me £345 after you’ve done the work??? You failed to tell me the price up front if you had I would have weighed up my options. Locksmith just shrugged and said what’s £90? Like it’s nothing. He again said I should have asked for price. I argued no he’s supposed to tell me price, last price he told me is £150 where had £345 come from??
I rang company again of which they told me you can cancel the work
He’s done but I would have to pay for work to be cancelled. Absolutely outrageous company. Rude unhelpful do not accept responsibility. Robbing vulnerable people whom have no choice but to pay

Required emergency services after a burglary. This company robbed us of more money than the actual thieves! Quoted £100/ lock + labour but charged close to £500/lock and labour on top!! The price online for this lock is £80 so completely shocked. Stay well clear

Quoted £60 for lockpicking (out of hours) with no mention of any other charges. Locksmith arrived and claimed he needed to drill lock. Request made for price to replace lock but locksmith refused to confirm, saying he was unable to confirm until entry was made. Only on gaining access were the full charges were revealed, just under £500!! DO NOT USE

My god I didn't read the reviews, feel like I've been robbed for 10 minutes work, but I needed to do this quickly and it wasn't my property.

How are they still trading, something needs to be done about this company.

Quoted me £50 plus VAT. The engineer then advised it would be £136 plus VAT due to a new lock and keys being fitted, I was ok with this, then he just seemed to be putting the price up

He then told me it would be £206 plus VAT and he then said he advised me of this amount, I am confident he didn't.

The numbers just kept on going up and up.

I'm disgusted they prey on people like me that were desperate.

Moved into a new flat and didn't realise the door locked automatically when shut- leaving the keys inside and me locked out, with no phone etc. Had to use a neighbours phone to call and this company was the first to come up. When the locksmith came he played around with the lock and then said it needed to be drilled and pulled some numbers out the air totalling about £600- but miraculously once I was hesitant and said I'd call my landlord first he got some tools out of his van and got in within seconds. As a 19 year old student I wasn't sure about the rate but after negotiation I got him down to £190- still very extortionate when I was quoted under £100 on the phone. Me being headstrong let me be scammed a little less- but I was still scammed. AVOID AVOID AVOID- they prey on people being unaware.

Overcharged my fiance for our bedroom door. Will take these crooks to small claims court
