I am a resident in one of Londonists accommodation in London. I booked my ensuite through Khaled Matar who honestly has been great support throughout my process. Khaled Mater is a very good person, he is trustworthy and reliable and had always offered assistance and guidance.

Khaled has helped me secure my room, and with room extensions for a couple of times, providing me with the best solutions possible.

Booked my accommodation through them and it was a very seamless experience no issues faced. A big thanks to khaled matar for helping us out and providing the best they can offer highly recommended.

It was absolutely great working with Sahil. He supported us right from the beginning and helped us arrange a 3-month property on very short notice. He shared an excellent list of options and guided us in evaluating each one based on our needs.

What truly stood out was his availability—he was always just one call away, day or night, whenever we needed to discuss something. He was also extremely accommodating when I had to reschedule a viewing due to personal commitments.

Khaled Matar, the MENA Area Manager, helped me find the perfect place to stay while I complete my studies in London. He supported me throughout the entire process, always replying quickly and answering all of my questions with patience and professionalism.
I highly recommend him if you want someone who will make the whole accommodation process smooth and stress-free.

This company has been spamming me with calls, WhatsApp messages and emails, since September, despite the fact I have unsubscribed and emailed to ask for my details to be removed multiple times. I don’t believe this company is UK based either, and by the looks of the other reviews it looks as though they are scamming people AVOID.

I had a very positive experience with Londonist, especially thanks to Thakur. He was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. All my questions were answered clearly and promptly, which made everything smooth and stress-free.

I turned to Londonist expecting reliable guidance in securing a place to stay in central London, hoping the process would be smooth and problem-free. Sadly, what I experienced was nothing like that. The images on their platform highlighted only the nicest rooms in the building, yet the one I received was in awful condition—unclean, worn out, and with a strong unpleasant odor. Despite bringing this to their attention every single day, no meaningful solution was ever provided.

On top of that, the cleaning staff entered my room multiple times without knocking, including one occasion when I was asleep, which was extremely disturbing.

Whenever I tried to report these incidents, they were dismissed carelessly, and I was often redirected to an AI assistant that couldn’t offer any real help. What should have been an enjoyable and relaxing summer stay ended up becoming a stressful ordeal, to the point where I considered paying out of my own pocket just to move somewhere else.

I strongly advise others not to make the same mistake.

The reason I turned to Londonist was the expectation of receiving proper support in finding accommodation in central London, without having to deal with any additional issues. Unfortunately, the reality was the complete opposite. The photos shown on the platform depicted the very best rooms available in the building, whereas the one assigned to me was terrible: dirty, old, and foul-smelling. Despite my daily complaints, no solution was ever offered.

Moreover, on several occasions I was unexpectedly entered upon by a cleaning staff member who opened the door without even knocking. This even happened once while I was sleeping, which was a truly distressing experience.

All my reports were handled in a very careless manner, often directing me to speak with an AI system that, obviously, was unable to provide any real answers or solutions. What was supposed to be a pleasant and relaxing summer holiday turned into a real nightmare, to the point that I almost considered changing apartments at my own expense just to escape such an awful environment.

I strongly advise everyone not to fall into this trap.

I would like to thank so much Mr Marawane for his precious help, understanding, assistance and all communication calls who did to explain me all steps to find the good place for my staying in London for short time.
I now preparing my trip which will be next Saturday.

Do not use these people they scam you and do not refund your deposit. They pass you from one person to the next never taking responsibility. Taking advantage of people

Booked with Londonist through University Living for August 2025.
Upon arrival at the accommodation, the staff gave me the key to the room, only for me to find that the previous resident had not yet vacated. Upon informing the reception, they said they could do nothing and could not even confirm when the room would be ready. They made me wait for hours in the lobby before I had to check into a hotel due to loss of sense of security, and no confirmation of a room on their behalf.
Despite contacting Londonist multiple times for a refund, they stopped responding after a few correspondences. I was in touch with an employee named Federico, who promised he would look into this, but then conveniently left Londonist the following week, with no explanation to my concerns. Since then, their team has been avoiding all my support tickets and emails asking for a refund or at least an acknowledgement of the situation - to no avail (it's November now; I first wrote to them in August).
This is not only highly unprofessional, but also traumatising as a student in London. Would not recommend at all.
It's so funny to me that the agents from Londonist would not leave me alone until I finished my booking with them, but when I actually need their help, they do not even respond. What an unethical business, making money off of innocent students. Please do not use Londonist - you are probably better off in university halls or looking for private listings yourself.

Una volta che hai pagato la tua stanza/accommodation, Londonist ti lascia completamente solo, nella mia residenza appena sono arrivato il lavandino era otturato, il materasso del mio letto era davvero orribile, ho ordinato un topper per risolvere il problema da Amazon, pagandolo 100 euro e in residenza dovrebbe esserci il servizio per ricevere i pacchi, ma me l’hanno perso. LA cucina non funziona bene, il gas spesso si spegne da solo e il lavandino si ottura ogni 2 giorni. Con tutti questi problemi, ho provato a contattare Londonist tante volte, ho mandato circa 5 email a tutti gli indirizzi che avevano indicato, nessuno mi ha mai risposto, perché una volta che hai pagato, si dimenticano completamente di te. Io ho una prenotazione fino a fine dicembre invece, ho scritto la recensione solo per informare le persone circa la mia esperienza. Questa è la prima risposta che ricevo da Londonist, ho provato a contattarvi per due mesi settembre, davvero assurdo.
