I have been searching for a good residential proxy service because i haven't had great experiences thus far with the few I have tried. I stumbled upon Lightening today in a google search. The website indicated that had what I was looking for so I signed up for an acct and requested a free trial in hopes that this was the one...and unfortunately the response i recieved was not only totally inappropriate, but rude and so unprofessional that I am still a bit stunned. SInce i cant attach a screen shot to this, I'll recap our convo: The automated response was followed by this lovely getleman named Hardin, who quickly chimed in to say I was ineligible for the trial.
My response: "May I ask why?"
Hardin: "No"
My response: "nice! have a great day"
Hardin: thumbs up emoji
My response: I'll definitly give you a stunning review for your superior customer service (thumbs up emoji)
Hardin: "Sure, next time dont set girl name and temp email. Try better to abuse our free trial"
My response: "girl name? I am a female a**h***"
Hardin: "right"
At this point I chose to close the window, in shock that a professional, legitimate company would allow such behavior. I highly suggest avoiding the teenage drama and giving Lightening proxies a hard pass. Btw, I am a 47 year old female and i was using my atomic mail account, which I had no idea was considered "disposable".

I paid for their services after their support promised to make sure I get the right proxy for my use case. They are incompetent and provide false information to trick customers into buying their services.
Also, for developers, they do not understand how API integration works so they end up making you teach them but they would not understand. Do not recomment at all. Will update with images on how the conversation was.
Edit - They do not offer refunds when their services are bad. They also beg for reviews. Avoid it at all cost. Images coming when I find a way to upload them

I've tried LightningProxies for residential proxies over a few months, digging the big IP pool, low prices, solid speed. But their state-level geo-targeting is hit-or-miss—around 20% mismatch on checkers or target sites across the board. If you need dead-on location accuracy, skip this one
