Leaders were great helping me with my tenancy from the very beginning. I spoke to multiple people throughout the process and everyone went above and beyond. I had dealings with Kirsty, Aimee and Sue, amongst others, during my journey and they definitely made the process as easy as possible for me. Would definitely recommend using Leaders for your new home.

Absolutely effing awful company and people. I can assure you all of the 5/4 start comments are made by them because my house and everyone else I know who has had to deal with these wnkrs know that they deserve to be investigated. I’m a 19 year old in a student house and I have a wonky bedroom door and none of them are fire doors (which I found is illegal) and they haven’t ever fixed this issue. Many many issues with the house plus loads of toxic black mould which they just paint over. We pay for this. They claim that you can speak to them about financial struggles but when you email asking for a little extension on paying rent they don’t even reply and harass you with automated texts. Everyone in the office are young and rude. We are struggling uni students in a cost of living CRISIS and they do nothing but poke people for money all day and in their office follow you to the bathroom just in case you steal a bog roll and give you the evils. I’m serious this company needs to be investigated and I’m considering taking legal action. If anything bad were to happen it’s on their hands. Plus had no hot water or heating for 2 weeks. Makes being at uni even more of a nightmare

Such an effortless process provided to us to move in. Kirsty has been amazing during this time and had questions any answered before we could even ask them!

Just recently moved into my property. Had all documentation prepared and organised given the short time frame.

Issue with getting in contact with them via call. Can be quiet difficult to get a hold on anybody.

Despite calling the experience was hassle free and the property was in great condition.

Be extremely wary of dealing with this agency, particularly when it comes to their accounts and credit control department. We opted for the No Deposit Option (NDO) and for the whole duration of our tenancy and have always paid the Rent + NDO on time. For the last few months, I have been consistently hounded in relation to overdue fees. Have tried calling accounts on 01903 890086 but it always goes to voicemail and no one ever gets back to you. Have also sent numerous emails advising of the error but they have all been ignored. A definite 0/10 for customer service. On a previous occasion, they actually took an unauthorised payment from my account for the NDO. I Highly recommend you keep a very close eye on your bank account if you do choose to work with them. My tenancy thankfully finishes soon and I will never use their services in the future. Next step for me is to contact the Property & Financial Ombudsman.

Everyone involved in the process of securing a property from leaders was professional, swift with responses, and really accommodating! Highly recommend the agency for a seamless experience in looking for the right property.

Leaders are very professional and they know what they are doing. A great example was Rosey Turner, who checked the council tax payment from Salford Council which tried to get me to pay up to March 2024. However we had tenants in the property so this should not have happened.

They don't care about their tenants !!!!! Despite numerous emails about mould etc whilst living in the flat they never acted seriously! Upon leaving the tenancy their communication was very poor and we found we owed them money 6 months after leaving! They never accept fault its always the tenants fault! Don't expect good customer service over the phone haha they just talk down to you :(

Year after year, Leaders are providing timely and adequate service for the rental of my flat, which is even more important as I do not reside in the UK anymore. All their staff in Manchester office are helpful, but I wish to praise especially Rosey, who is always so helpful and nothing is too much for her. Great, professional service, always!

Had a very pleasant experience with leaders through out my 1 year tenancy in Manchester. The onboarding was also very smooth and quick. They are super professional from starting till end with different portals etc.

Would like to give a shoutout to Rosey Turner, our property manager, who remained super supportive with any issue we had or changing contractor appointments if need be. She kept us up to date with any request made by us to the landlord and always replied super quick. The 5 stars are for her.

The property inspection report while leaving the property was slightly strict although we did clean the house but it wasn't up to the standard of landlord, however we happily accepted the cleaning service charges without any counter-argument.

Also would like to thank Ciara Ryan who was very helpful in arranging a tenant reference for me.

DO NOT RENT WITH THIS ESTATE AGENTS

Moved us into a property with a shower and toilet that didn't work. Lights didn't work. House alarm didn't work - kept going off by itself in the early hours of the morning - estate agents 'fixed' this by cutting the alarm cord rather than replacing the alarm. House was filthy when we moved in, kitchen had supposedly been 'deep cleaned' but when we ran our fingers over the units literal grease came off them.
There was a leak in the living room coming from the ceiling so for the first two months we moved in (in winter) we had a bucket in our living room filling up with water.
These are just some of the problems we've had.
Estate agents have been a nightmare to deal with the entire two year tenancy. We had a different property manager every other week and were constantly told the issues were our problem or we must have broken things that were broken when we moved in.
None of the faults with the property were listed in their property report when we moved in (of course).
We were evicted for no reason and given two months to move out in a cost of living and housing crisis. We made sure the house was immaculate before we left, had a cleaning crew come in to help us and now we're trying to get our deposit back and they're trying to charge us for things like 'dust in the living room' (after we had it professionally cleaned and provided them with an invoice), nails in the walls and paint marks on the woodwork (which were there when we moved in and were told not to worry about originally...), a hole in one of the bedroom floors that was there when we moved in (they had put a shelving unit over the hole when we moved in to cover this, the only piece of furniture in an unfurnished house, we only discovered the hole after moving the unit). They've also put in the property report that we weren't present during the property inspection but we asked to be and were told that wouldn't be necessary...
Absolute CON ARTISTS.
Renting with this company has been a nightmare from start to finish. If you want to save yourself stress I would recommend renting with another company. Never dealt with an estate agents so incompetent and shady my whole life.

Without a doubt the most incompetent bunch I have had the misfortune to deal with. An expensive leaky house and a hundred apologies and broken promises.
I paid the tenancy upfront on promises of work to be completed before occupancy….pack of lies.
Worse still if I were the owner of this property. No competence in the property management department has lead to work done and repeated.
Now I discover they get a 20%’bung’ on top of the spend, plus the monthly management fee. Unbelievable. The more the work costs the landlord the more money the management company makes! No incentive there to aid the landlord.
Just had circa £1500 of work done and a £10k bill to the landlord.

I have had a great experience, specially the deansgate branch, all staff were user friendly and as a international student they treat me kindly and they were paciant about my questions. Thanks Kirsty, Jake and Fay.

Not enough customer service.not good communication between landlord and tenant and not good maintenance service ! !
Our flat has 4 very important maintenance issue to fix since we move in (more than a month) ,we reported and still waiting them to respond our email we sent about the issues.
I dont think i can recommend them anyone. **
**I need to add to this review some update.**
After nearly 2 months of 4 important maintenace issues,the repairman came to check last week for our washing machine and he said it needs to replace with new one .it is broke ,too old to use and not unrepairable .behind the machine Sweage water pipe is leaking inside the machine too.😷 That is awful.
We are still waiting landlord’s responds (who lives outside the UK)without washing our clothings since last week.
We called Leaders aspecially maintenance manager Lewis many times for that reason since last week ,nothing happend.

Easy and quick in arranging a new tenancy, and the support through the process was amazing. Kirsty was great throughout with helping me through the process.

They were very helpful with letting me know about what was going on behind the scenes so I didn't have to worry about anything during the process
