We placed a call for our washer not working and were advised the engineer would attend within 24 hours. We were advised of the job number and asked if there was anything else they could help with. Very thorough and professional.

As a business owner, this has been one of the most frustrating service experiences I’ve ever had.
Our washing machine has been damaging linen with black marks, costing us thousands. After five engineer visits, samples taken, and repeated assurances it was “fixed,” the machine is still unusable — now over four weeks later.
As a “solution,” I was offered daily update calls from a manager. This lasted one day. After that — silence. Every update since has had to be chased.
Communication is chaotic. Different people, different answers, no ownership, no urgency.
We were also promised compensation for downtime — none has been provided. Not a single offer, despite the machines being out of action for weeks.
When signing up, JLA strongly promote 24-hour fixes. That is simply not the reality. It’s the main reason I chose them, and it has proven to be completely misleading.
This business relies on functioning laundry for short-term rentals. We’ve been forced to find costly alternatives just to stay operational, and JLA have shown no real urgency despite knowing the impact.
I rarely leave reviews, but this has been an unbelievably bad experience and I’m now at my wits’ end.
I would not go with this company again had I known this.

Absolutely unacceptable service from JLA.
The company I work for’s washing machine has been leaving black marks and ruining sheets, causing thousands in damage. JLA have sent five engineers, taken samples, and repeatedly claimed it was “fixed” — it never was.
The machine has now been unusable for over four weeks. The issue is supposedly with their “lab,” who still can’t identify the problem. No solution, no timeline, no accountability.
Communication is a mess. I’ve spoken to multiple people, including managers, and been told something different each time. No one follows up, despite promising to, no one takes ownership, and we’re constantly chasing for updates that never come.
This is seriously impacting our small business, which depends on reliable washing for short-term rentals. We’ve had to pay for alternative arrangements just to keep operating and everyone is having to run around to keep things going.
Compensation was promised and never delivered.
Four weeks, five engineers, and still no fix. Avoid.
