Avoid iCarLease at all costs!
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with iCarLease has been nothing short of a nightmare, filled with false promises, poor communication, and financial losses due to their incompetence.
I leased a Polestar 4, and one of my clear requirements was that it had the Pilot Pack included. I repeatedly confirmed this with iCarLease before signing the contract, and they assured me it was part of the deal. When the car was delivered, the Pilot Pack was missing, making it completely different from what I agreed to.
I immediately raised the issue and attempted to reject the vehicle, but instead of addressing the problem properly, iCarLease dragged their feet for months. Despite my clear attempts to return the car, they failed to take the necessary steps, leaving me stuck with a vehicle I never agreed to lease. Their lack of urgency and unwillingness to take responsibility meant that I was forced to keep paying for a car I did not want.
After endless chasing and being ignored for long periods by iCarLease, Arval (the actual lease provider) finally agreed to accept the car’s rejection and refund my initial rental. However, I was still charged £549.38 for a monthly payment covering a period when I was actively trying to return the car. Arval confirmed that this was due to iCarLease’s failure to act in a reasonable timeframe, but iCarLease has so far refused to reimburse me.
This company is a complete joke—they are happy to take your money but disappear when there’s a problem. Their dishonesty, lack of communication, and failure to resolve issues in a timely manner have caused me financial loss and unnecessary stress.
Vik (who I have been dealing with since day one) has been apologetic and has tried to help but his manager, Matthew Rothwell, has been the complete opposite! He even blocked my emails, meaning all communication had to go through Vik!
If you’re thinking of leasing a car through iCarLease—don’t. There are plenty of reputable leasing companies out there who won’t leave you out of pocket due to their own incompetence.

We’re genuinely sorry that your experience with us wasn’t as smooth as it should have been. Unfortunately, in today’s world, unless a customer gets everything they demand, a one-star review seems inevitable.
An honest mistake was made, and when you flagged that the wrong car had been delivered, we took full responsibility and worked with you to find a resolution. Initially, you offered to keep the car if compensation was provided. We acknowledged this and offered £1,500, which was the full cost of the missing Pilot Pack. However, you requested £6,500, which was far beyond what was reasonable. Given this, the only viable option was to proceed with returning the vehicle.
It’s also important to note that during this time, you had full use of the vehicle. When the issue was first raised, you initially agreed to keep the car with compensation but later changed your mind and chose to reject it. Given that you had possession and use of the vehicle throughout, it’s perfectly reasonable for charges to apply for that period.
As for the claim that your emails were blocked—this simply isn’t true. You had a dedicated point of contact in Vik, who remained available throughout the process to assist you.
This is the first time we’ve encountered a situation like this, and we appreciate the patience you had while it was resolved. We regret that we couldn’t get it right for you this time and wish you all the best with your next car purchase.

I found all the staff to be helpful, courteous and supportive. Shout out to Vik for his patience with a somewhat ' non-standard' application. The detail required regarding the credit agreement was a bit painful, but both the beginning and end bits were seamless and we are delighted with the car. Thank you all very much!

All Good in the end
Very easy to deal with initially but process stalled a bit leading upto signing hire agreement and delivery date, I believe they were having issues and had a backlog to process. An email to enquire what was happening was met with a quick response and we had the car a few days later. Overall we're happy with the service from the staff and absolutely delighted with the car. Would use icarlease again without hesitation

Wish I Heard About These Guys Sooner!
I had an excellent experience with this leasing company. When another deal fell through on a Suzuki swift, I went to them and their assistance was magnificent. They explained that they fund themselves, which allowed them to finalise the deal quickly even though I was skeptical. Despite being around for a while, I hadn't heard of them until now, but I am thoroughly impressed. I highly recommend their services and will be returning after a brilliant service and customer care experience.

Sorely let down
I was sorely let down by the team at iCarLease.
Having spoken to them emphasising my urgent need for a vehicle I was told that it could be possible to get a car delivered within a week or two at the latest.
After contacting them many times to obtain an update on progress I was told that they would do their best to expedite the process. This was, it turned out, just lip service and I felt there was no sense of urgency whatsoever.
When I eventually received a delivery date it was via email and was almost a month after my initial quote was issued.
If they were unable to help why did they not explain at the outset so I could choose an alternative provider. I have had to hire a car to bridge the gap of having no vehicle after I carefully explained that I my personal circumstances meant my need for a vehicle was vital.

Regarding delivery dates, it's our policy always to confirm them in writing before finalising. Typically, we offer an estimated timeframe of 2-3 weeks from the order date. I understand your frustration that you couldn't get the car right away; we have processes to go through, and above all else, we work as quickly as possible for you. It's worth noting that we always strive to manage expectations transparently.
I want to assure you that your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we take it seriously.
