Best company and customer service

Following comparing prices- icar leasing not only came up as the most affordable monthly payment- they also came up to be the only leasing provider who did not charge a admin fee. In addition icar leasing were able to offer us our chosen car quicker due to them having stock where other companies had a longer wait.

To top it off, Rebecca who our personal advisor was a fantastic, she fully supported us through the whole process keeping us updated.in addition when Rebecca was not available- there were other dedicated staff who answered any questions

i have used other car leasing company’s in the past however due to the high standards of service and personal one to one support and great customer services with lowest prices- I will definitely consider using this company again.

Unnecessary stress and drama!

Initial contact with the sales man Vik was very promising however once I had agreed to the car lease the level of service plummeted. Firstly the car was delayed for a week costing me money as I had to take a wasted day off work. Secondly the car driver who dropped off the car was expecting me to take him to a train station, he was very eager to leave and the car handover was rushed. Thirdly the finances were all botched up. I was invoiced by Novuna 3 months after taking the lease. I had already been chasing this several weeks previously. It was discovered icarlease had not sent all the details to Novuna. Finally the invoices were incorrect and I was being charged for a month before I took possession of the car. It took a month of multiple emails and phone calls with Icarlease and Novuna to sort this. I now have had to endure 2 very large invoices in July despite having the car since April! Utter incompetence and unacceptable in the digital age. Roll on AI to replace hopeless call centres.

Hi, Matthew, thanks for the honest feedback. We’re genuinely sorry for the delays and frustration you experienced, and we take full responsibility for the inconvenience caused.

With stock cars, we always aim to move quickly and provide accurate information, but as vehicles are built and moved globally, occasional delays can still happen. We understand that even a short delay can cause disruption, and we apologise that it cost you time and money.

Regarding the finance issue, we’ve looked into this fully and did identify an error, which was quickly corrected once it came to light. Novuna were really helpful in explaining how their system had started the agreement on the wrong date, and we’ve taken that learning onboard. We always try to stay on top of processes like this, and it’s something we’ve reviewed internally to avoid future problems.

That said, we do feel Gareth and Bex kept you well informed throughout and worked hard to get everything sorted. We know that doesn’t take away the hassle you had, but we hope it shows the effort that went in to make it right.

Once the initial frustration has passed, we hope you’re able to take some positives from the experience. We’re proud to be a business built around people, not scripts or AI and we believe that real human interaction, personality, and ownership still matter. That’s what we try to offer every customer.

We do hope you enjoy your new Volvo XC60 Black Edition and that it brings you years of trouble free motoring! Its a really great car!

Have used various lease companies over the years and have found my experience with icarlease to be faultless my dealings with Vik Zafar throughout the whole process was smooth and I was kept fully updated. I also found Gareth Wardle very helpful.

Avoid at all costs…

“Forgot” to tell me about TWO recalls on the car which could have been dangerous.

Took THREE attempts to actually collect the vehicle wasting my time and annual leave - which has been taken further!

Head of brokerage is also nothing short of a rude little man who needs some lessons on customer service and communication skills. Ignored us for weeks!

Go elsewhere.

Hi, Thanks for your review, although we strongly disagree with several parts of it.

Just to be clear: we have never leased you a car. The agreement was not in your name, and at no point did we receive the required data protection permissions to speak with you. That’s not us being awkward , that’s us following the rules. We’re bound by strict FCA regulations and data protection laws, and we take those responsibilities seriously. This includes the risk of fronting, which is classed as a serious issue by the FCA.

We’re glad the vehicle is now back with us. The missed collections have been reviewed, but the key point is the matter is now closed. What we won’t accept, though, is the way our team were spoken to. Abuse towards staff is not something we’ll tolerate, and there is clear evidence of how that played out during this process. Referring to a member of our team as a “little man” says more about your character than it does about theirs , and we don’t think that’s fair, nor would most people.

We fully comply with our ISO standards, and a non-conformance report was completed and reviewed by several managers across the business. While we’re confident the situation was handled properly, we always try to learn from any customer dissatisfaction and improve where we can.

We’re proud of how we operate, and we’ll always back our team when they’ve done things by the book.

This was my second experience of…

This was my second experience of exchanging a car with icarlease and yet again the service was excellent.
From my initial contact with Rebecca she could not have been any more helpful in any respect. Not only was she polite, courteous, informative and extremely professional nothing was too much trouble whatever my query. She is not only a credit to the company but more importantly a credit to herself. It was a pleasure to deal with her from start to finish. Excellent !!

Extremely poor experience with TCH…

Extremely poor experience with TCH Leasing ! I will never be using their services again. In the past I have had many lease cars without any problems at all and this has been stressful and definitely not worth having a lease car.
This time round TCH Leasing have tried to squeeze every last penny out of me by fabricating damages to my car when I returned it; they claimed that there was some paint damages from a repair I had done (through a reputable garage who did some work on the lease car due to a no claims fault through my insurance company). They charged me over £500 for this despite the paint damage not being visible at all!
I have had a considerable amount of anxiety because of other nonsense invoices they have sent me or letters without explaining the full content over the nearly 3 years I had the car, where I had to call them to explain the letters.
Therefore I decided this time to return the car 3 months early and buy my own (never before have I done this with any of other lease cars I have had from different companies).
Judging by the reviews other customers have put on Google reviews recently I can see that its not just me that has been affected.
PLEASE DO NOT GET YOUR LEASE VEHICLES FROM THEM - THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND!

Hi Sam. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. I’m really sorry this has caused you stress and anxiety, that’s the last thing we want any customer to go through.

I just want to be clear about what’s happened from our side. You’ve been with us for three years and had your CLA at one of the best prices in the market when you took it out. There were no issues throughout your lease until the end, when the problem came up because of the repair that was done on your car after it was damaged.

Unfortunately, the repair didn’t meet the standard required when checked. As members of the BVRLA, we have to stick to their Fair Wear and Tear Standards, which set clear guidelines for what’s acceptable when a vehicle comes back to us. We don’t take charging customers lightly, and we certainly don’t fabricate damage or try to overcharge anyone. Any costs we pass on reflect what’s needed to get the car back to the condition those standards require.

I understand you’ve had other leases without any issues, and I get why this has been so frustrating. But in this case, the charges were purely because of the repair not being up to the right standard. If that damage hadn’t happened, or if the repair had been completed properly, everything would have been as straightforward as your previous leases.

You also mentioned other customers having similar experiences. I have to be honest and say we don’t see this as a pattern in our own returns process. Many of our customers hand back their vehicles without any unexpected costs or problems. It really is a shame that this situation has overshadowed your experience with us.

Extremely smooth process

I had to return my work vehicle due to a change in employment and did not fancy purchasing a used vehicle. I searched leasing companies online snd came across icarlease and also read some of the reviews here. I must say that Vik was exceptional and handled my concerns with extreme kindness and patience as I was quite worried about the credit check. Rest assured everything went perfectly and 2 weeks after my initial enquiry I had a new skoda octavia delivered. A special shootout to colin from Listers who delivered the vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and showed every feature of the vehicle. All round fantastic service and highly recommended.
