Online chatbot for customer service - took forever - hours of waiting and nothing resolved. Cant speak with a human and have to repeat information. This is not customer service, its customer cut off.

we had a engineer booked in for 20.07.2026 7:30 - 10:15. No one turned up and we had to phone tup to them find out the engineer is ill, no one notified us , then having to waiting another two days before an other engineer will attend. I advised that my sister is disabled and we require the engineer to phone her before attending.

Registration was smooth but am appalled that my 3 year-old microwave should fail so soon (I have another one (not Hotpoint) which has lasted 25 years with no problem). Further, I'm disgusted to have had the phone put down on me when I rang the service department.

Hotpoint service is a total waste of…
Hotpoint service is a total waste of space. Our fridge freezer broke down on 1st July , Enginner visited on the 2nd and ordered parts, barring in mind the appliance was still under warranty. It is now 20th July and for the second time the repair visit has been cancelled. To cap it all you cannot even talk to a human being. My advice do not touch Hotpoint with a barge pool.
