Amazing customer service and affordable prices

We went to the Dorchester branch of FoneWorld for a Pay as you Go emergency phone. We had excellent, helpful & patient service from Nick, the manager, with assistance from Omar. The phone was kindly set up for us. Thank you. Glad we went there.

Hats off to Krishna for stellar service managing to rescue my mums precious memories from her defunct phone. Krishna fixed the old phone and miraculously and painstakingly transferred the data onto the new phone, way past his going home time- we are so grateful. We will highly recommend him to others 😊👍.

Krishen in the Oxford store was superb!! He spent several hours arranging and setting up my parents phone and even registering them with a different network provider. He is a huge asset to the company! I would thoroughly recommend the store to anyone needing technical assistance and advice.

I only bought a charger for £25 today in Derby branch. It was certainly more than expected to pay as I’d only paid about £10 on Amazon in the past. However I was given a 1 year verbal guarantee that I would get it replaced. Disappointed by nothing in writing to substantiate this.
I’m only posting this review as I noticed a third of reviews got 1 star so I suggest all customers look around before committing themselves to any purchases.
PS It will be interesting to see if they keep their word regarding guarantee if anything goes wrong in the next 12 months!

Merryhill store. This business doesn’t deserve 1*! So on Friday 6th December I brought a iPhone 13 Pro Max (no price advertised) ok we negotiated the price that suited us both which was fine. I then had second thoughts because the battery health was poor which then the worker had agreed to replace the battery which I was happy about. I returned after 10 minutes. The worker was still working on it. then he came out and then advised me that the screen had been replaced also which he failed to telling me that before I made the payment for the phone when I got home I noticed not only was the screen repaired but also the camera was also replaced. Two days later, I had to return the phone because the phone screen was damaged by green pixels which means that the screen was replaced incorrectly. I then had to go out of my way to go to the store after work When I went back they just made a excuses like the phone was dropped when there was no damage on the screen at all. Trying to put the blame on myself. I wasn’t having any of it and I demanded a refund and I got the refund back. This shop will sell you a phone make out. It’s in good condition when secretly there’s been many repairs on the phone and they fail to inform the customer on this.

(Merry Hill & Solihull Store) Took my phone here to merry hill store to get the screen replaced as it had cracked, was charged £80 so paid it. Seemed fine for 10 minutes after getting it back, once we left merry hill on a saturday afternoon (rush hour) to head back to home (an hour away) it came to my attention that the screen was raised higher then it should’ve been and the lightning of the screen was pink. I called a friend and the phone started pushing buttons by itself, ending the phone and dialling random numbers? Since we were on the way back at this point, we stopped at touchwood shopping centre and spoke to the guys there, they explained they can’t refund it after “speaking to someone on the phone” don’t think they spoke to anyone actually and they were just waffling. Apparently the stores aren’t connected and they were really slagging off merry hill store. Fair enough they can’t refund it but admitted to having other customers go in there who had problems from merry hill also, and they replaced there issues for free, but we’re going to charge us £45? We then said we would go and speak to the apple store, and they were really pushy, trying to make us get it replaced there, not sure if it’s because we are young but we wasn’t going to fall under the hands of liars. I now have to go elsewhere and pay another £100 to get it fixed as there is no possible way I can get back to merry hill due to living an hour away.

I went to fone world shop in westfeild shopping center to get my fone repaired and I found the lads there very polite and helpful I would recommend this shop for repairs thanks lads fone working great 🇮🇪

My son noticed part of his iPhone screen wasn't responding properly while we were out in Solihull. Apple wanted over £150 to look at it (the phone's probably not worth that), and couldn't do it there-and-then.

Went round the corner to Fone World and they fixed it in half-an-hour for less than half what Apple wanted, and threw in a screen protector to try and make sure it didn't get damaged again.

The gentlemen gave me a great quote for a cracked screen, phoned me when they received the replacement screen, and repaired it very fast and perfectly! They then fitted it with a new screen protector that I brought for free! I'll be a loyal customer 😊 Thoroughly recommended!

Zaman in Bath Fone world is amazing!
My wifi chip had come loose in my laptop. I was hesitant to leave it with anyone. Zaman opened my laptop in front of us straight away, fixed the issue and gave my laptop an internal clean- all for no charge. He was friendly and patient and answered all of my questions!
I cannot thank you enough, thank you Zaman!

I took my daughter's iphone 8 to Braknell branche to check it for a not charging issue ..they kept the phone for two weeks never phonet back to let me know what the issue is. So I went in an collect it ,straight after I went to another shop repair, they straight way did noticed screws missing ,battery not contacted and loose rattling, a part missing,,so I took my phone back to them and explained all the issues they had caused. One of the guys who does repairs he took the missing parts from another phone and replaced it ..when all the was done he did not even apologised, here is your phone and off you go,,,,unfortunately very bad experience with Bracknell branch

Used Fone World this afternoon to fix my daughters water damaged IPhone 11 (also had rice stuck in the charger portal)
I rang ahead to check price - took it in, it was fixed and in perfect condition within 30 minutes. Cannot fault the service or the price and would highly recommend.

Ahmed in Bracknell Fone World managed to transfer all my data from an old phone which was completely broken to my new one. I was so incredibly grateful as I had precious photos which have now been restored. He was kind and patient and even gave up his stool for me whilst I waited as the process took about 2 hours. I witnessed many happy customers in the time that I was there. I can't praise him enough. Thank you!

Fone world in Solihull is quite honestly the worst place I’ve ever been to.
I went in to get my wife’s phone fixed and they just made it worse, from not placing the back glass in properly, breaking the volume buttons, then breaking the camera and then breaking the speakers. I asked for a refund and they refused and only backed down once they saw the cost of repairs that Apple Store totalled it as. They are very lucky I’m not making them pay for the damage they caused, the staff are rude and just smirked at me for even suggesting the idea of giving me my money back

I went in on Monday to ask about an upgraded handset and as usual was looked after by Naz at the Merry Hill branch. I’ve been there for cracked screens, battery replacements and various self inflicted repairs needed over the years and they’ve always looked after me. Picked up new phone today and a seamless transition with all my data copied over. Would highly recommend for all accessories and repairs and as ever great customer service.

Great service. Dpd let him down with delivery time for my new acreen so i was left waiting. He drove out to intercept the useless dpd driver,fixed my screen and even delivered it to my home address as i couldnt wait any longer.
100% recommend.
Went way beyond excellent customer service.

We had problems with my husband phone. That we had purchased elsewhere.
The Security Gard in the Peacocks recommended them. We are glad he did the service was exemplary. They ordered parts three times and sent it to three different laboratories with no luck. In the end they replaced the phone with a newer one. Throughout the process the staff were so polite and helpful and gave exemplary customer service that is so lacking today. We cant rate them or recommend them highly enough.
