Absolute bunch of W anchors. No one has any idea what they are doing, completely disorganised. Act on behalf of companies as they say. Companies they represent have no idea what they are doing, never anyone available to speak to. Taking me to court without sending any documents. Even sent me someone else’s debts, name address bank account numbers attached to county court documents. Really looking forward to the hearing I will be showing the judge exactly what they are about. Try to push court matters as quick as they can in order to manipulate the court process or secure default judgement. Then once documents sent (which should have been sent before court action) tried to charge £3500 for the pleasure. Will keep you all updated on my crusade. Even 1 star is too much for these uneducated chance takers. FOS now involved and not to pleased with their dirty tactics. If you do have the pleasure of dealing with them be aware they don’t tell the truth and don’t follow processes. Report them to FOS. They act on behalf of other companies, the companies then tell you to speak to Equivo direct who have no idea what day/year/week or what is going on, spent 1.75 hours in a call to a poor young lass who had no idea how to answer or deal with complaint and no information to give me, absolute waste of mine and her time that was when she could hear me, and after waiting 20 minutes in a que.

Although we didn't achieve the outcome I was hoping for (it was a long shot and realistically I attempted to chase this debt at too late a date), Equivo have been communicative and detailed. Alison in particular was great to work with.

If I ever have another debtor that won't play ball I will be going back to Equivo first.

Equivo have been so helpful, Didn’t have a clue and they explained everything, I really wasn’t hopeful because the person who owed me money was really not a very nice person owed lots of money to a lot of people he’s very dodgy, But a huge thank you to Lee he was able to get payment, Hopefully I won’t need bailiffs again but if I did I would definitely use Equivo highly recommended and thank you to Alison on the end of phone and email 🙂

After searching for a company to recover money via a court order, we selected Equivo and couldn't be happier. They talked us through the process of upgrading our court order, helped with the process and then enforced the HC Order, recovering the money. Would use again if in a similar situation.

Aaron dealt with my complex case efficiently and extremely quickly, and it was brought to action promptly - especially as courts are notoriously slow. The agent on site was courteous and professional, and worked with me to make the situation as smooth and manageable as possible. Would definitely recommend.

As a business we were owed almost £20k. We obtained judgement in default and they still refused to pay. Out of desperation I called 4 High Court Enforcement companies. Mr Chapfield called me back immediately unlike the other 3 and managed to get the judgement transferred within 3 weeks. They said they would dispute the debt but 6 weeks later the whole amount was in our bank account. Equivo/ Mr Chapfield literally saved our business. Professionally human or humanly professional

For regular people with a rental property that runs into trouble with tenants, the people of Equivo- London are efficient, effective and understanding.
This makes a trustworthy company, it is a rare and precious thing.

My neice used Equivo for a money judgment- they were patient and helpful and Alison handled our case and kept us updated on progress when there was any attendance. Would highly recommend Equivo.

Equivo collected a debt for us where another debt collection company failed to do so. I only wish we had used Equivo in the first place, this would have saved us over a year of wasted time with another debt collection company. Equivo managed to collect our debt in under 1 month. Apparently Argos have sold a £100 final payment (not overdue) to this company, which we knew nothing of. Today had a debt collector banging my door, no one was in so called equivo who said no details on file for my address or my name/previous owners. Found a card from said collector on doorstep with ref number and conveniently when called they found a record. Asked why they sent a debt collector to my home when we knew nothing of this ‘debt’ being sold - ‘WE WERE IN THE AREA!!!’ So we dropped a card in - not before you were knocking my door though so you weren’t just dropping a card!

The only reason to work at Equivo is because you have no other options available to you. There is a toxic culture at the Equivo Bracknell office. The manager was disorganised and chaotic and there were very little structure or process. Staff were expected to work long days and lunch breaks were frowned upon. Favouritism was rife in the company, and people were promoted at the whims of the senior team. Staff were treated very poorly, and salary and benefits were abysmal. Avoid this company at all costs.

Absolutely faboulous company would highly reccomend especially the bailiffs, who had my best interests at all times, and made the transition easy for me with a very difficult tenant

Abysmal company that doesn't listen to you or do anything to help. Do not return your calls.
