Disillusioned
My initial dealing with the company was delightful. Polite & friendly staff 5-7 working days delivery. I ordered on the 10th a Tuesday. I received the invoice with pictures of what I thought I had ordered which was a toilet seat& a toilet with a cistern attached. I hadn’t heard any more regarding delivery 4 days later so I phoned them. Lovely person answered said the delivery company would advise me but I may have to wait the full 7 working days which would have been Thursday 19th. Still no word regarding delivery on Thursday so I phoned again & eventually got a text from a pallet company saying premium delivery next day by 17 00 hrs.No tracking no. given, nothing on the day -Friday until a lorry pulled up at approximately 13 30 with the parcel. My workmen had been here for 10 days & were leaving that evening & not available again for 3 weeks. On opening the parcel we found instructions for the cistern but no cistern! I was told we hadn’t ordered one as they are a separate item. It is not clear on the website that this needs to be ordered separately. The photo on the website is the complete toilet with the cistern with a clear price underneath, as in the photo on the invoice. Looking at the website again it does show 2 cisterns which we thought (as with the seat choice) that it was showing a more expensive alternative. My plumber said he has never bought a toilet without a cistern! They should show you what you are buying as it is misleading to say the least. Somewhere it should state that the cistern is not included especially as the price increases by almost £100 with VAT if you order that as well. I now have a toilet in the garage with seat which cannot be fitted for 3 weeks. I am annoyed about the wait, the misleading photos & disappointed with the entire thing. I would send it back but at £94 postage can’t really afford it as I am a disabled pensioner.

Regarding the Tavistock Compass Square Rimless Comfort Height Close Coupled Pan (PC1050S), we do offer drop‑down options on the product page so customers can add the cistern and other components to complete the full toilet set. , we also highlight in red that images are for illustration purposes only. Additionally, we include recommended items on the page for customers to review before completing their order.
However, we fully appreciate your feedback that the imagery and layout may have led you to believe the cistern was included. If this caused confusion, we are genuinely sorry. Your comments will be passed to our web team so we can review how this product is presented and ensure it is clearer for future customers.
We are also sorry for the delays and lack of communication from the courier. We will be raising this with them directly, as you should have received timely updates and tracking information.

My experience wasn’t a good one
My experience wasn’t a good one , I purchased 2 sheets of dura panel shower board, unfortunately the board had obviously been sitting around for a very long time ,after preparing the board and cutting to size it took me literally 3 hours , 1.5 hours per sheet to remove the protective film on the decorative face , it was almost impossible to remove it , this has definitely put me off using them again , sorry

It’s a long story
It’s a long story. In short, I ordered two identical close-coupled toilets, after placing the order and few days later you tell me the manufacturer has discontinued the items therefore had to pick another suite. They arrived, remove the customer old toilet ready to fit the new one when I noticed the cistern doesn’t fit the new pan also the seat was wrong. Had to refit the old toilet then let you know what’s happened. You’ve made out it my mistake but clearly the fault is with Sam who placed the second order. To top it all I’ve paid an extra delivery charge and I’m still owed for the returned cisterns and seats. Although the cost of returned items was waived and had an amazing delivery guy who actually phoned to say he’s 10min away. That was good service but for the rest. No way.
I’ll await your reply.

As soon as we were notified by the manufacturer that this item had been discontinued, we contacted you and emailed an alternative on 27.01.26 that would match the rest of your suite and remain compatible with the other items already on your order.
You kindly replied on 28.01.26 confirming that your customer wished to proceed with the Tavistock Micra Evo Comfort Height Open Back Toilet (PC950S). Following your instruction, we amended the order exactly as requested. As a supplier, we do not question customer ordering choices because we are not aware of the specific requirements or conditions on site. We simply process the items selected and approved by you, which is what happened in this case.
We understand the frustration caused when the items arrived and did not meet your expectations, and we acted quickly to arrange the return. The return fee was waived as a gesture of goodwill, and we are processing the outstanding refund for the cisterns and seats. We’re also pleased to hear that your experience with our delivery driver was positive.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve our communication and service.
